The rice kept falling apart, so I had to eat the musubi upside down to keep the Spam and rice together. Allowing the musubi a little time to cool and/or preparing some ahead of time by wrapping it in plastic wrap to display could help improve the texture and overall eating experience. The chicken bánh mì was good. The mochi donut flavors were fun. We tried the matcha, churro and funnel cake versions. I've tried so many new things today and they were all delicious. The donuts were fluffy and airy yet not too sweet. The Bingsu (shaved ice) was pretty good: not too sweet and good textures. The corn dogs were both very good, however the only cheese one was more of a crowd favorite. The true star of the show was the avocado smoothie which exceeded all expectations. It was creamy and didn't feel like you were drinking a straight up avocado, overall very delicious. The interior was very inviting and very fitting for the establishment. Despise multiple attempts of asking for a receipt she just kept telling me I don't know. I don't have one and at one point once silent and walked back into the kitchen. Ordered three piece of spam was Subi. The rice was practically falling apart did not stay together and the spam was overly salty. The bahn mi may have been the worst one I've ever tasted. This placed used to be so good and was my go to. I loved the hot Cheetos corn dog. My family and I had been going since open. I noticed a decline in quality especially my last visit. It took almost 45 minutes for 2 corn dogs and an order of masubi (there was only 2 other people in the place). the corn dog coatings were stale both the takis and hot cheetos. We had never had issues with freshness before. Even the mochi donuts tasted a little old. Mind you we were barely in the first couple of hours of them being open. I don't know if it was an off day but I don't want to spend another $40+ and have the food stale again. Very nice ! My daughter loves every k-pop and Korean so she asked me if we could go and check it out and I'm impressed. The ambiance is very nice. They have videos of K-Pop groups on the tv in the dining room on mute but still there to add some visionary surroundings. The ninja art along the walls and counters are a cool touch. Having taken out on multiple occasions we have found shop always busy, staff attentive, and prep and cooking areas clean. All the mochi are true to flavor.
