The rice kept falling apart, so I had to eat the musubi upside down to keep the Spam and rice together. Allowing the musubi a little time to cool and/or preparing some ahead of time by wrapping it in plastic wrap to display could help improve the texture and overall eating experience. The chicken bánh mì was good. The mochi donut flavors were fun. We tried the matcha, churro and funnel cake versions. I got the banh mi beef. It was pretty flavorful but felt like it was missing some more fresh veggies. I would come back here for the boba... it's BOGO M-F in the afternoon which is nice. I've tried so many new things today and they were all delicious. The donuts were fluffy and airy yet not too sweet. The Bingsu (shaved ice) was pretty good: not too sweet and good textures. The corn dogs were both very good, however the only cheese one was more of a crowd favorite. The true star of the show was the avocado smoothie which exceeded all expectations. It was creamy and didn't feel like you were drinking a straight up avocado, overall very delicious. The interior was very inviting and very fitting for the establishment. Despise multiple attempts of asking for a receipt she just kept telling me I don't know. I don't have one and at one point once silent and walked back into the kitchen. Ordered three piece of spam was Subi. The rice was practically falling apart did not stay together and the spam was overly salty. The bahn mi may have been the worst one I've ever tasted. The doughnuts were too chewy and everything was over priced for the quality. Service was ok. The ambience matches the cuisine.

This placed used to be so good and was my go to. I loved the hot Cheetos corn dog. My family and I had been going since open. I noticed a decline in quality especially my last visit. It took almost 45 minutes for 2 corn dogs and an order of masubi (there was only 2 other people in the place). the corn dog coatings were stale both the takis and hot cheetos. We had never had issues with freshness before. Even the mochi donuts tasted a little old. Mind you we were barely in the first couple of hours of them being open. I don't know if it was an off day but I don't want to spend another $40+ and have the food stale again. Horrible customer service. Actual charges were $3 more per ice cream ($9 more than it should have cost), and when we questioned the difference (after paying, once we got the receipt), nothing was done ...cashier just says that's how it rings it up and that she doesn't understand how it calculates it. She tried to play it off as it charging more because I paid with a card, but that extra $2 was already shown at the bottom of the receipt as well. With only 3 Mochi donuts in all of Houston/Woodlands it was a surprise to find a mochi donut shop in Corpus. Having taken out on multiple occasions we have found shop always busy, staff attentive, and prep and cooking areas clean. All the mochi are true to flavor. Their addition of seasonal decorating of the Mochi are fun and add new flavors for the season. We have yet to try the full menu but would anticipate similar good tasting. read more

I am a huge fan of mochi donuts and was happy to see that Ninja Mochi Donut was available in Corpus Christi. We tried the strawberry, coconut, and taro donuts and all were delicious!
