We had ninja plumbing repipe our house about a year and 1/2 ago. They only did the water flow in (seems we still need to do the pipes going out.) I was very impressed with their professionalism and work. Matt (from Poland, since there are 2 Matt's) was our lead on the project & was great. I appreciated that Mor, the owner, came out many times during the job to answer our questions & check on the work. We have since had Ninja out a couple of times to do some smaller jobs and I do consider them my official plumbers to call. I give them 5 stars on the repipe. I gave them 4 stars overall because for the smaller jobs they've come out for since (there have been 3 times), they've been consistently late. They always call and let me know they're going to be late which I appreciate greatly and I understand that jobs can go long, so I'm just noting it here as it can be a little inconveniencing for the customer. Just had a problem with my toilet and they came in my time frame that I could be at the house. They sent out Richard. He came to me early and was very knowledgeable. He made sure everything worked right before he left. He checked and double checked until he was convinced that everything was good. Our mainline was leaking, and after LADWP came out to check on it, we found out it was on OUR side (of course, it ALWAYS is). Anyways, I did a bunch searching online to figure out what could be the problem, and came upon the possibility of Trenchless. Well, I called around, and Ninja Plumber was able to get a guy (Matthew) out within 2 hours of my call. I had a prior engagement in Anaheim I had to get to, so when Matthew arrived, I was needing to leave. He offered to clamp it to slow down the leak (after he did a great job of finding it quickly) and he would have someone out the next day to fix it. Well, the clamp didn't work as planned, and we had to leave, so he closed off the main water line, so it wouldn't have the massive leak. Matthew and the folks at Ninja Plumber gave us two options, come later that night and fix while we were gone or do it in the morning. I was fine with either, but not having the water on when I came home later that night was a small concern. By the time I got home (around midnight) the water was back up and running and the line was repaired. I was also very happy with knowing that they were able to do the job on the quoted price and without me being at home and taking our payment later (which is not of the norm in this town). I can't speak highly enough to the personal service, attention to detail and the work that Matthew and the people of Ninja Plumber did from calling to have them check out our situation to completing the job. Ninja Plumber has been my go-to since moving into my first home about 4 years ago. They've fixed toilets, replaced the regulator and valve coming into my house, replaced my water heater, and most recently just replaced all the pipes and fixtures in one bathroom with copper since I still had old, corroding galvanized. They're always courteous, fast and clean and give me straight quotes. Geovanni did this last job and he was super helpful with recommendations and options, explained exactly what they would need to do and what they could and couldn't do when it came to patching up holes they needed to cut. He and his assistant put in about 10 hours on the last day, working in the dark to finish patching up the stucco and clean up in order to finish the job on the day they promised. These guys were great! Our home's main sewer line was clogged. I check a couple of places and decided to give these guys a try. After calling the receptionist, i got a call back telling me that someone would be there in a little over an hour. The two guys that showed up were really thorough. They ran a camera and found the problem quickly. Apparently it was root intrusion could be seen through the camera. They explained my options. Overall, they were very professional. Ninja plumbing did a fantastic job! In my experience, hiring a plumber can be a nightmare, especially because many plumbers want to make quick "easy" money, or simply are not honest and upfront. My problem wasn't easy, and similar to many other situations, my problem required a certain amount of "investigative" work to determine the cause. Josh the supervisor who originally came and did the estimate was sincere, up front, and made me feel comfortable to trust him and always answered my questions with detail and patience. This is a far cry from Mike Diamond plumbing (who literally did an about-face and walked away the minute they saw that I had a main line clog). Josh at Ninja plumbing not only did a great job with the estimate, he also stayed around and personally managed the crew during the 2 days it took to complete it. His assistant "Robert" who did much of the labor was extremely hard working, and friendly. My Main line had been clogged, and unfortunately, the house never had any "clean outs" previously installed. Ninja plumbing did the hard work to find the problem, install the necessary cleanouts, and fix the problem. Cesar and his partner brough the special truck on the last day to run a professional Hydrojet/scrub to clean the lines out once and he was patient enough to explain how it worked and answer my questions during the process. All of the crew at Ninja Plumbing made me feel comfortable the whole way through. On a Friday we had a clogged sewer pipe. Ninja came and was very friendly and professional. They shot some video down the pipe and discovered that it had collapsed. He stayed late that night and came back over the weekend, Saturday and Sunday to fix it as fast as possible. We appreciate them going the extra mile. We've been having issues with roots in the line (which is almost 60 years old) for years, and they were only going to grow back again. So Ninja suggested lining the pipe, which would prevent roots or other issues in the future. They gave us what seemed like a good price. But, I checked around with a few other plumbers, and discovered the price from Ninja was a great price, plus it came with a lifetime warranty. Again, they were very professional and friendly, did a great job, and we're really happy to not have to worry about issues with the sewer line anymore. Richard came out the same evening that I called, checked everything and actually told me it didn't look like a leak, so they gave me pointers on how to fix where water was likely getting in (my daughter overfilling the bath, maybe). and put some silicone on the likely points. Called to have a backed up kitchen sink fixed... first guy came out and said i needed over $500 of work but did what he could to get me by for $125. Had to call ninja back 3 days later and i got Richard A. and his partner. Richard was super informative, explained the issues, the recommended fix, the cost etc. Once his work was done, he walked me through again to confirm the lines were clear and took the time to educate me on how to preserve my sink until I'm ready to remodel. My first experience with Ninja Plumber happened a few months back when we had some water damage from the ceiling in our house. I bought the voucher and reached out in the early morning. They were quick to respond and basically offered to have someone out immediately. After going back and forth with our real estate agent, we realized we had to go through our builder since it's a new home and covered. I called Ninja to explain/cancel and they were totally understanding. Recently, I noticed water coming out of two planters near our garage pretty heavily. I reached out to Ninja and of course they responded so quickly. Cielo was great at keeping me posted throughout the day on whether someone would be able to make it to the house earlier than the window of 4-6 I was given. It ended up that Matt T. was in the area around noon so I darted home to meet with him. He turned off the water to the main line and advised me that it appeared to be a cracked/leaking pipe somewhere between the main line and under our house. He explained that water seeps out whereever it can find an exit point, which is why it was coming out of both planters. They would need to do a hiss test and another person would need to come out to assist. Once he explained that to me, I had to have him stop working so I could reach out to the builder (again, this is all covered since it's new construction). Matt turned off the water to the main line to stop the water from leaking. I paid using the $100 voucher for the $89 service charge which was worth $200. Matt suggested that I save it in case I need them again, which was super nice of him and something he didn't have to do. I used it anyway, knowing I can always get another one if needed. The contractor came out and tried to tell me that it was the irrigation system and not the main line. After further inspection, he agreed with Matt and they ended up having to jackhammer down to the pipe to reseal it. Today, Cielo called me to see how the service was and make sure everything was handled. This team is great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs! Of course, we needed someone on a Sunday...Murphy's Law. Found Ninja via Google and called 'em. Got a nice guy who sent out someone to help root out a clog that was backing up. They got out the BIG rooter and pulled out a huge clump of roots. The charge was $89, however...he never went in a second time to clean out the remaining roots but told us we needed their high-pressure water cleanout at $550, well maybe $450, okay $400. Put the camera up there to show us the clog saying "well, it'll probably clog up again within a couple of days". Uh huh. And sure enough...IT DID!! Big surprise. He should have run the rooter a second time and gotten out the rest of the clog; not rocket science. But of course, he went for the bigger bucks. Y'know what? If you think the job needs high pressure water, either send it out in the first place or certainly DO NOT give the client a variety of prices. Just gives away the fact that it's a scam. If the high pressure thing is the only thing that works, don't bother with the rooter. Just bring out the truck/trailer with the pressure rig and charge $250. But leave the BS back at the shop. read more

Our house is nearly 100 years old and we needed the pipe from our cleanout to the main sewer line replaced without tearing up the whole front yard. I'm tired of dealing with contractors and plumbers who mark up their prices based on your zip code (which our previous plumber did) so I decided to give Ninja plumbers a shot since they seemed like a more modern company. Ahmad and his boss from Ninja plumbers were transparent about what was needed to do the work. They took photos of everything since we couldn't be at the house that day and left the work site super clean. I can say that I didn't feel like I was getting snowed over by them. I have spoken to 2 girls in the office and they're great! they call me whenever there is some kind of update to report, which is super helpful because some times I have to let residents or our on-site managers know details. I contacted Mor on Sunday & he sent Richard, who quickly diagnose the problem after I tried to use the plunger to clear any blockage but was unsuccessful. If you are responsible for a business that uses water, then clearly you understand the importance of having a solid plumbing company to help out because it gets very inconvenient if things go down. We have used a few different companies in the past due to spur of the moment needs and most recently Ninja. Richard is the technician who has been working with us and he has been great. On the primary work we have had done, he talked over a few different options and why as opposed to proceeding with the most complex/ expensive one. I don't foresee needing them for the heavy work they can do, but based on our interaction so far we would say they're worth a shot on that as well. read more

Competent replacement of toilet valve. Somewhat pricey. Dings are for the attempted up-sell for more work... I just realized that he hooked his pressure monitor into the incoming (upstream) pipe of the pressure regulator. Of course pressure there won't change by tinkering with the pressure regulator. Just because you see an older "housewife" doesn't mean you should try and rip her off. Techies get pretty nasty when you things like this to us (FWIW, my background is hard-core engineering, and I know more about fluid flow - of many liquids - than most plumbers ever will.) read more

Jade in their office responded almost immediately and was very helpful setting up the appointment with a technician for the next day. Next morning, Arthur arrived promptly and gave me a fair estimate and really explained everything involved including all updates to bring it up to current code. Arthur is one of the most professional and knowledgeable plumbers I've worked with and it's easily apparent that he is well-trained in his trade and enjoys his work. A few hours later, he arrived back with the new water heater and installed it in less than a few hours. He cleaned up the job site before leaving. I appreciate Ninja Plumber's fast response time, fair pricing, and Arthur's professionalism and positive attitude while getting the job done. My 9 year old water heater decided to take a dump on me last Saturday. I made a call to Ninja and a guy named Paul assured me someone would be out to take a look at it within the hour. 45 minutes later a tech named Jason (very professional, nicely groomed, and well educated) arrived and immediately was able to figure out the problem. Jason laid out my options and told me I could replace the burner of a 9 year old water heater and get a good couple more years out of it...or invest in a new water heater for almost the same price and give me another 9+ years) I decide spending the extra money was worth it and went with a tankless water heater with a 15 year extended warranty.
