I was kind of surprised at the extensive menu list so I'm not sure how all the dishes compare but I ordered their staple Ninja ramen. I got the Tonkatsu with an added fried egg and it was pretty good. I did think that it was going to be weird with the tonkatsu in the broth but I ate it fast and the shell did not get overly soggy. They could have placed it over the bed of green onions to protect it more instead of putting the eggs on it but I'm not sure. Presentation of the ramen is nice. Service was fine it was a simple order and pay kind of experience. The restaurant is cute. I would definitely come by here with a date. One of the cool things about Corpus is how the city is about ten (10) years behind adopting "big city" trends. For example, Ramen/Asian Fusion, Micro Breweries, etc., etc. However, by the time they have dissipated in big cities and migrated here, they continue their popularity for quite some time. This is where Ninja Ramen and Thai comes into play! It's a great Asian Fusion restaurant in a funky little ethnic shopping center off of Holly and Airline. And it most certainly lives up to its name. It's high quality food with exceptional accommodating service. It also has a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I personally like coming here for post workout dinner a few times a month since it's across the street from my gym. Here is what I ordered: - Ninja Ramen - I got to pick a protein and chose the pork katsu. It came in a tonkatsu broth with wavy ramen noodles and other garnishes. The katsu is delicious, salty, and crispy. Broth itself was underwhelming and felt thin. - Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen - Pork chasu came with this bowl and I was so disappointed. I've had all of the buns are delicious - only one I didn't care for too much was the burger bun. I've tried few different ramens and none of them have disappointed - sometimes it's hard to choose! The lychee sake is AMAZING, as is the hot sake - which I love to get when it's cold outside. Don't forget to try the Thai iced tea. The ramen is so good, I have yet to try so many of their other dishes. The menu is diverse enough where everyone can find something they like.
