We had Thai basil beef & Pad Thai spicy shrimp and chicken as our entrees. They were both super delicious. The spring rolls were so freakin good, I ordered 3 orders! The app was tom yum soup! We went here for a late holiday dinner and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very inviting. The clientele was very eclectic and upscale. This will be a lunch time based review. The luncheon portions are rather small for the price but had good flavor. The lunch specials are served with soup or salad also, but still not enough to fill you up. The decor is a little outdated, but it's a quaint little spot. Service was great luckily, but whether you like it or not there automatically add an 18% tip to your bill. Coke products are served here and my wife can highly recommend the sweet iced green tea. That was the highlight of our meal. It's a nice spot, but if you want more bang for you lunch buck this isn't the place. read more

I am pregnant and have been craving Thai food for the last week. I ended up finding this restaurant on Yelp due to the reviews and it was probably the worst Thai food that I've had. I'm giving this place a 3 star due to how friendly the waiter was. First, I chose a 4/5 for the spiciness level of my pad Thai. When it arrived, there was no spice whatsoever or really any flavor besides a peanut sauce. I never knew that pad Thai could be gross, but I forced myself to eat as much as I could. I also ordered the shrimp salad rolls, which were mediocre. It wasn't anything special... and the last thing that I ordered was the Tom yum soup. It was my first time trying it, and definitely my last if I come back here. I'm a foodie and have tried so many different Thai places in many states, and this place was very underwhelming. I normally will order mango with sticky rice, after I finish my meal at Thai restaurants. But since I didn't enjoy anything I ordered, I decided to give it a pass. This is my favorite restaurant in corpus! It's like a little house with a very ornate mural on the wall. Roasted duck curry is magic, so good. Probably the most consistent Thai that I've had in Corpus and the ambiance of the place is nicely built into the converted older building with lots of charm. We even had my birthday dinner here because of how much I like Thai food. One of the things I love about this place is that they are sensitive to those with food allergies and can even replace Mung bean noodle in place of rice for a small charge. This gives a gluten or grain free person lots of options to enjoy their favorite Thai dish without the guilt or the downtime of getting gluten. Beautiful restaurant with a very friendly staff. This restaurant is by far the most covid 19 compliant restaurant we've visited so far. Everyone else is serving on regular plates and cups but Thai Cottage actually invested in everything disposable. I had the spicy basil fried rice that was delicious but could have been just a tad bit spicier. My wife had the Panang Curry that was one of the best we have had. They actually added a good portion of chicken and all together very flavorful. The cheese roles were a little different and had raisins in them that I didn't like but overall a very good dining experience. read more

I've been coming to this cute little thai place since probably high school. It's always so good and the employees are friendly and on point each time. It used to be so much smaller and they were smart in extending it. It definitely made a noise for lunch hour. You'll see friends catching up or co workers catching a bite. That's what we did working at the mall across the street and how how I visit especially with this location. Great lunch specials. I personally always get the Phat thai with chicken (generous portion) comes with soup or salad and a mini egg roll. A craving fix each time I return to my hometown. Total under $10 read more

I've been to their places in Houston and Katy and this location is nothing compared to the others . This is mediocre at best . The service is slow but I'm willing to forgive that for great food . The SA-Te was undercooked - the chicken almost raw but not quite. The vegetable spring rolls had mushy vegetables in the filling - quite unpleasant and the pad ke maw was pieces of broken noodles with a huge amount of scrambled eggs . They can be very good but the food is no consistent. We moved to Corpus Christi just over a year ago, and at first thought we had found our go to Thai restaurant. We ate there today and two of the things we order regularly were disappointing, the fried spring rolls were over cooked, and the Tom Kha soup had a reddish tint to it almost like they added oil. I ordered the Tom Kha soup with no spice, so we could add our own dried chilies (this is the only Thai restaurant we have ever visited provide crushed dry chilies), and there was a concentrated lime flavor near the bottom of the bowl. The service was spottier than on our last visit. I realize that restaurants are not always at their best on a Monday, but at the prices charged here we expected better. read more
