Ok, where to start. This quaint sushi restaurant is in an Ace Hardware and Starbucks parking lot. So I wasn't sure what to expect. My husband and I are always looking for good or hopefully great places to eat. Still fairly new to the area, so many restaurants to try, so many to go! We love sushi. But it needs to be quality and FRESH.. Well, this restaurant has hit the mark for both marks. And that's because of Scott, the amazing Sushi chef. He is so warm and friendly, his sushi is amazing. The service is really coming along too. Apparently we have slipped into the "regulars" category. Our predinner drinks, etc are already known..... That's good, right? Anyhow, check this little treasure out. Tell Scott I said hiya! He will treat you well. Kampai!

The food here is so good! It's such an underrated small place and somehow has such wonderful food and employees. All of the employees are super nice and inviting. The sushi chef was a delight to talk with very funny man. They seem to genuinely care about their customers and it makes the place feel all the more inviting! All the girls there are such a delight, my server was so sweet and helpful with me, she had lots of personality and I love a good server. Food is to die for, the best sushi i've ever had, definitely my new favorite spot to enjoy some fish. The fish tastes unreal, so clean and smooth, and extremely fresh. 10/10 recommend this place. All of it overall was a great experience:).

Sushi chef is amazing! Chill vibe, great service, and honestly some of the best rolls I've had in a long time. The sushi was so fresh and full of flavor. Happy to have a great sushi joint close to home. Will be back soon!

My husband and I went to try out Nipomo Sushi for lunch since we had never been there. It is very nice and clean inside. The wait staff is very nice and personable as well as attentive. We ordered the Calamari Tempura to start. It came out quickly with a nice sauce on the side. They were large sticks and were so good! Nice and crispy but tasted fresh. For lunch I ordered the Baked Salmon Roll which came out fairly quickly as well. It was delicious! In the roll it had the baked salmon on top of the rice, cucumber, avocado and seaweed. My husband ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and enjoyed his as well. I am looking forward to going back and trying other things on the menu! Will definitely be back!

As usual, Scott prepared delicious sushi. I had a spicy albacore roll that was one of the specials. It was delicious and just spicy enough to be pleasant and not painful. He prepared an order of halibut sushi and suggested I not use any soy sauce. Just a little ginger. He was right! So good. Service was attentive, keeping my water glass full. I finished with a rice-free roll based on cucumber. Super good! Scott then made me a little "dessert", seared tuna and great sauce. It's a nice, quiet spot to enjoy fantastic sushi. Ignore the bad reviews which pre-date Scott taking over.

Nipomo Sushi knocked it out of the ball park this evening. My wife and I sat at the bar with Chef Scott and shared some good conversation before digging in. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived but began to fill up shortly after. Our rolls were fresh and delicious. Scott made a roll for a table that we asked about and with some convincing, we ended up with a Spicy Albacore roll. It was very refreshing and had a sweet kick that came on at the end of each bite. We will be back for another round of the spicy albacore!

Get the baked lobster roll or any of the rolls that have scallop. If you're wanting something else, the rice teriyaki is also excellent.

I had a reservation and we were seated immediately. Dan was our server, and he was gregarious and efficient. We liked him a lot. I ordered the pork ribs and hash brown casserole while my friend ordered the ravioli. We enjoyed the beans, pickles and crackers while we waited; it wasn't long before our meals arrived. The ribs were delicious and huge! Very meaty, not skimpy at all, and just enough seasoning to make them pop. The hash brown casserole was also terrific, and I enjoyed those leftovers the next day. The ravioli is stuffed with meat, and the meat sauce was thick and, well, meaty. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! I recommend you make a reservation if you can. The service was great, restaurant was clean, and the food absolutely blew us away. We had the spicy tonkatsu ramen, two rolls and the garlic edamame. The ramen had a perfect balance of spice, not too spicy but enough to get the nose running. The edamame was amazing, it came out in a reddish sauce which the server said was a house specialty. Not your traditional garlic edamame but imo better than what I've had elsewhere. I would say the food is a little expensive, but everything came in massive portions. The two rolls had at least a dozen pieces on each and the sunshine roll had enough salmon and ahi draped over top for a whole 'nother roll. I do not mind these prices when it feels like you get what you payed for. We will definitely be back!

Only meat, onion, and added tofu. It said it would come with slices but it came with chunks of pork that was boiled.. I wanted the slices. The ramen itself was alright. The gyoza/potstickers were good. Probably my favorite. $9 side of kimchi... it was pretty good. Sadly I don't think I'll be back with these prices.

We went for my wife's birthday on 11/29/25 and had a fantastic time and enjoyed some amazing food. I read one review from a lady complaining about the price of ordering extra rice. The potion of fried rice they give you is so much we couldn't finish it. If you have to order extra rice for your husband and son, they are probably obese and should exercise some portion control. And if you want to order sushi, go sit at a damn sushi table. Don't bring a bunch of bratty kids to the teppan grill to order from the sushi bar like the annoying family we were seated with. Secondly, I hear a lot of reviews that say the server was sarcastic and rude. This is not the case at all. She actually has a sense of humor and is very funny. She just doesn't put up with peoples BS. Unfortunately, most uptight people have no sense of humor. She put a bratty kid in his place that really deserved it, after the yuppy dad would not, and it was hilarious. She is very sweet and brought my wife a complimentary desert. We both ordered the calamari and fillet minion with fried rice. It was amazing and the chef was great and also very talkative and funny. The setting is verry cool in front of big windows and comfy chairs. The food is not greasy, and flavorless like was mentioned in a review. It seems to me society is way to spoiled for their own good. And to those that complain about the prices please stay home if you can't afford to go out for a good meal. And maybe don't plunk out children you can't afford either. We started with a range of nigiri from Chef's Tokyo market connections and were blown away by the quality and variety of the fish. Accompanied by their house pickled wasabi stems (like a relish) and fresh ground wasabi, everything had layers of textures and fragrant flavors that made me feel like I have not experienced good sushi for ages. We then had a few classic hand rolls and they were all delicious, especially with their freshly imported nori, which was crispy in a way that makes you realize that most nori you get is simply stale and that's why they have to toast it so much. We ended with toro with sturgeon caviar, another round of imported kampachi, and toro hand rolls with shaved black truffle. This is the kind of food experience that makes you wish you had more days in your itinerary just so you could return for more. We hope that Sushi Table continue to thrive so that we can return!
