If you're not a local. DON'T GO. I went based off the reviews from locals here and I was disappointed. The rice and chow mien is bland. Orange chicken is okay 5/10. The beef from beef broccoli is too chewy and has a weird after taste. They said it's freshly made but it felt like it was sitting there for hours. The lady said the bowl and plate is the same price but charged me $24 for 1 entree plate and 2 entree plate. I'm from LA so this Chinese food is wack 2/10 and I feel bad for the locals here thinking this is good. read more

It's a cafeteria-style restaurant. Clean & efficient. Service was expedient with no customers waiting. I ordered Broccoli Beef, BBQ Pork Ribs & Chow Mein Noodles. The Broccoli Beef is excellent- crunchy vegetables & well done beef. The Ribs were good, some overdone & some fat. The Chow Mein was a little bland but good enough. This is a fast food take & go, so if you're up for that, this is a nice break from Guadalupe Mexican. PS The servings are generous. read more

Really good food, at least as good as some more expensive Chinese food places in the area. We had the Barbeque pork, the sesame chicken, the shrimp with vegetables and egg roll. It was really all really tasty. They were out of the shrimp with vegetables and they made some for us on the spot. Fast friendly service. read more

Well I gave this place another try. Unfortunately the food was worse than the last time I tried it. Was hoping to have some beef broccoli but I never seen that dish cooked with a beef the had chunks of fat. The chow mien lacked flavor and the shrimp and vegetables smelled old and tasted funny. Didn't risk it so I tossed it. Sadly this place gets decent reviews and still not sure why. Maybe because the service is great. I just hope they step up their game as this is the only Chinese food in Guadalupe! read more

Best Chinese style food in the whole area. I come from Grover beach because their food is that good so the prices are fair. Bbq pork is amazing and the orange chicken is good as well. The fried rice is amazing. read more

This place is amazing. I reccomend this for anyone wanting really good fresh Chinese food. My favorite is the Orange Chicken, I love that the pieces are not so huge compared to other places. GROSS! My companion and I walked in, I looked at the Chinese food buffet and immediately told my companion I wanted to leave (even though we were both famished). We stayed (I did make a valiant effort to leave while trying not to insult the owner). This was not real Chinese food but a poor imitation. Everything tasted ultra greasy, and everything tasted like it was cooked in the same pan. I took a few bites trying to make the most of the meal but the meal was too detestable to choke down. I have to say the service was excellent and I was very surprised. I the food was good to great depending on item. I got the three item plate with chow mein. I had a nice meal and the lady talked to me like we had be friends for 30 years. It was quite in here at first but by the time I was nearly through the place was packed, and I can see why, it affordable and yummy. What is funny is I was expecting go to my favorite Mexican food restaurant Guadalupe Cafe, I was tired, hungry, and a little dirty and so disappointed. Great little Chinese place in Guadalupe! It's basically a Panda Express kind of setup, same entrees, few different ones. Mushroom chicken was excellent, and so was the kung pao and fire chicken. Egg rolls are a little meh, and the rice has a bit of a different taste to it then normal fried rice. But overall, solid little place to go to for chinese without driving into Santa Maria or AG. read more
