Went in looking to buy 4 new tires and to get an alignment. Their tire selection was good and their prices were very good. I chose my tires and authorized the alignment. Before the gentleman pulls my vehicle inside he says, "just so you know, your probably gonna need new cam bolts for us to do the alignment". Ok.... How can he tell that from looking at the front bumper? I leave my car there wait for the call when its finished. An hour later I get the call, I need all new camber bolts. $160 total added to the bill. Yes, I authorized it since I knew it needed the Alignment, but felt odd since what he said earlier. Jobs done and I go to pick it up. Now I gotta run my credit card through 2 transactions... And each transaction is with a 3% surcharge for cards. But the bill was written up on one invoice, not two. Figured the alignment shop and tire shop are separate businesses or something. I asked about the bolts and he says "yeah, they were bad" but didn't offer to show me the originals. Ok, no worries. I've been to this shop in the past when the older gentleman ran it, and probably will return in the future since I support small businesses, but the pre-emptive cam bolt calling out, plus 2 CC transactions at 3% each seemed a little off. read more

Have used them 3 times. Twice for a tire repair and they got me in right away both times. Today was for replacement of a tire pressure sensor. Price was more than fair so I had all 4 changed/programmed. They were quick and the price was $200 less than either of my other 2 quotes. Also saved me a trip to the dealership in SLO. They only had 2 tires that fit my car, so they offered to call me back when the other 2 were in stock. Got a prompt phone call three hours later, same day, that all 4 tires were ready for my car. I drove an extra 15 minutes from Santa Maria after looking this up on Yelp. I drove an hour to Santa Maria to buy rims on CL, the drive to this shop was 100% worth it. He dismounted 8 tires from 8 rims and mounted 4 tires on the set of rims I was keeping. Meanwhile he only charged me the price of mounting one tire per rim.. I had to buy lugnuts and he sold them to me at wholesale / eBay prices... Seriously, a man's man. Cannot thank him enough. read more

Enrique Jr, the owner's son, was amazing over the phone and in-person, very charismatic. The price for a new tire and replacement was also very reasonable. This will definitely be my go-to place! This was my first time here, but my mom had recommended me this location so many times before, this is her favorite place when any of her cars need tire rotation, replacements, or patching. Now I know why she likes it so much here. Another plus is that they are bilingual and speak Spanish just as well as they do English. The owner stopped what he was doing, found the offending screw in the tire, and fixed it in about half an hour, and for just $25. Super friendly and nice to deal with. Discovered a screw in my RV tire and checked Yelp for recommendations and discovered Nipomo Tire. Pulled in to their shop and tire got repaired and all other tire pressures were checked and brought to recommend pressure. All this took about 25 minutes and then back on the road. read more

Jose is awesome! We blew a tire, in our RV, on the 101, while on a California trip with the whole family. We called up the shop and Jose answered right away and said he had what we needed in stock. We were able to nurse the RV to the shop. He met us off the main street and guided us in. He immediately started to work on replacing the tire and had the new tire on within ten minutes. He knew we were on a long road trip and went around to check each tire. He noticed all the other tires had too much air and lowered them so we wouldn't have any other problems on our trip.
