Good morning, I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent experience with my service advisor, Mike Ponder. Unfortunately, I received very poor customer service throughout the entire process. When I first brought my car in for repairs, I explained to Mike that I needed a loaner vehicle because I only have one source of transportation. He initially told me that would be fine and that he would take care of it. However, when I dropped my car off, he changed his story and became rude and loud during our conversation. During the time my vehicle was being serviced, I did not receive any phone calls or updates regarding the status of my car. I had to continuously check text messages myself and call the dealership to get updates. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I was not properly acknowledged by the service advisor. I was simply handed my keys and told my car was outside. There was no explanation of the repairs completed, no review of the paperwork, and no professional communication about the work done on my vehicle. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years, and I understand the importance of professionalism, communication, and respect. Customers deserve transparency and courtesy, especially when dealing with vehicle repairs and transportation concerns. I felt disrespected during this experience, and I do not appreciate being treated as though I do not understand vehicles or the repair process. I know right from wrong, and this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Avoid Nissan Morrow at all costs. Their approach to buying cars is deceptive and a complete waste of your time. They aggressively call and email you to get you into the dealership, promising KBB value or more for your vehicle. I repeatedly asked for a written offer or even a rough estimate and was flat-out refused. Instead, they kept insisting that since they had photos and details, I should just bring the car in and they would "pay even more than KBB." That was a lie. When I showed up with my 2020 Kia Sportage, the story suddenly changed. I was told they were not buying these vehicles and the best offer was $7,000, which is rock-bottom wholesale value and nowhere close to what they promised over multiple calls. This is the worst Dealership that i have ever been too. I bought a Used Titian XD. It shut down on me the first week that i had it. I tried to return it they said no. I also bought the extended warranty on it so they wanted to try and fix it. It was a Major issue with the Catalytic Converter for a diesel truck. They bought a new on and put it on. The next week i was still smelling diesel in the truck, it was loosing power and it was drinking the diesel to the point that when i leave the gas pump and got ready to turn out of the store i had already loss 6 miles of diesel. When i went to take it back so they could look at it the push button went into the dash board. Every one there blames another department for the problems and not one person in the building will take ownership and try to help. I saw the 1.6 stars for Nissan South Morrow, and was trying to cancel online Sunday. On Monday, when I was going to search for another dealership on google I saw they had 4.5 stars so I decided to go with them. I called (#1) to confirm and speak with my appointed person. Let's call him "John Doe". I started this journey at 1:50. I pressed 1 for service and selected check on an appt. It seemed like I was about to have to make another appt so I hung up. I called back (#2) again and selected service and the call disconnected. The auto-attendant stated "users mailbox can't accept messages". I called back (#3) and pressed 2 for sales because I KNOW someone is going to answer. I was transferred back to "John Doe". The call disconnected again after getting to the vm. I called back (#4) again to sales and was told they were going to transfer me to another service extension. I was transferred to parts. Parts dept guy said he was going to transfer me to service but I was just hung up on. I called back to sales again (#5) and a nice young lady said she was going try another extension...disconnected again. I called back (#6) and she stated she would walk back my number. She let me know she gave "John Doe" my number, he was with a customer and would call me back soon. I called Rezi Nissan pressed 1 for service, the call was answered and I scheduled my appt. (! and DONE). I didn't want to be a no call/no show so I called back (#7), to sales, spoke with the same young lady and let her know I wanted to cancel. "John Doe" called me at 3:48pm. When he called he acted as if he had no clue as to why he was calling me back. After 7 calls, I KNOW he knew. He was nonchalant, acted as if he didn't care that I was cancelling and never made any apologies. read more

I am writing this to warn others about my experience with Nissan South Morrow. I purchased a brand new 2024 Nissan Sentra, and it has been a total nightmare. Within a short period, I have had to get over 5 jumpstarts just to keep the vehicle running. A brand new car should not leave a customer stranded this many times. Due to the dealership's complete failure to fix this recurring electrical issue, I have been forced to hire an attorney and initiate a Lemon Law case against them. Beyond the mechanical failure, the dealership's business practices are highly unprofessional. During the buying process, they added on high, unnecessary 'junk' fees that were never clearly explained. Their customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful throughout this entire ordeal. The lack of professionalism and integrity at this dealership is staggering. I made an appointment to sell my vehicle from an offer generated via car gurus and when I arrived at this dealership, the team offered me $3000 less than the price quoted online. Keep in mind my car was flawless. Had low miles was perfect in and out, and was exactly as represented. The management's response well this is a BMW and it could need maintenance in the near future and that would be expensive even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. To add insult to injury, the company has bombarded me with unsolicited phone calls for service, requesting to look at vehicles in nonstop, solicitation calls, and wound up sharing my information with partner dealerships against my wishes. I have only used Nissan to service my vehicle with the exception of buying tires as I can get them cheaper elsewhere. On 6/4 my cars was serviced. When I received my car back, a paintlike substance was left on my car. They stated "we don't have paint here" but the substance was not on my vehicle prior to dropping my car off. They took a video of the car upon drop off but for some reason could not review the video to verify that the substance was not there. They were supposed to call me back, however to date, I have not received a call back. In addition, when I made my appt, I spoke with Stephanie, a service advisor and we agreed to a few things. The total would have been $1800. When I picked up my car, the total was $2200. When I asked where the discrepancy came from and Andre, a service advisor had no answer. In Feb of 2024 was told I needed new tires, had less than 5/32 on them. In June of 2024, 6k miles later, my tires were "fine" with 6/32+ on them. How my tires grew new tread in 6 mths and with an additional 6k miles on them is beyond me.....My right blinker needed to be replaced before the visit, as it was blinking fast. Upon picking up my car, it is still blinking fast...Meaning it wasn't replaced and I wasn't notified it needed to be replaced and it was "fine" in the service report. And lastly, the techs were so lazy, they didn't even take the time to change the "next service" sticker in the car. I was supposed to receive a call back after leaving a message but have not heard back from the service dept yet. Laziness and dishonesty is at play and I can not determine if my car has even been serviced at all given the findings I have discovered. I brought my 2021 nissan murano in Jan 2021 Nat and Dollar helped me get this vehicle. They gave me 2 keys that came with the car. I'm a person that already be ready for emergency that happens. I just left Vegas yesterday and forgot my keys on the plane. I felt i was ok when i got home due to the fact i had a spare key in my draw that i always left there. Come to find out the key they gave me doesn't even work for the truck, Nissan told me to have it towed there and The manager CJ came out of his mouth talking about i had to pay for the key. Do not trust this dealership with your repair. They did a repair for me last year and I returned it as it failed before the 1 year "warranty". They claimed it was nothing to do with them and despite photographic evidence that they had allowed the car to go out of the door with a part badly adjusted they refused to honor the warranty for their bad workmanship. Any other time I would have a representative calling to ask about my experience but the last two times have been awful and surprisingly no one has called. Like the other review said, the sales department and service department are two different things! SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKSSSS. My car is officially at the dealership over night and has been there since it opened...you would think I'm getting a new transmission put in! I could've found a shade tree mechanic to have my car fixed in half the damn time!They are so slow even when it comes down to changing oil (I've waited 3-4 hours before...usually around 3 hours depending on the day/time) and there's no way to contact them directly so I had absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE that I would be without a car for over 24 hours as if that's not inconvenient for a person with children who is in pain because her baby is due within a week. I've been waiting a month for parts that was ordered TWICE and no one reached out to tell me they had arrived. It took for me to call the Parts department twice and go in person to get an answer. I will neverrrrrr deal with this service department nor the service advisor Andre ever again . And let's not talk about how I went to pick up my car the last visit and it was left running in the parking lot until I arrived. How long was my car like this? No one knows. I have attempted to get me car repair completed on four separate occasion. This place keeps scheduling appointments and then telling me why they cannot complete the repairs despite knowing my need prior to scheduling. Their only explanation is "it's a Saturday"?!?! If the business is open why is that an excuse? I am not sure if customer service is a part of the job description, but it doesn't appear to be. I have tried on multiple occasions to be patient. I have lost my patience. They are comfortable wasting my time. I refuse to get up every Saturday and go through the same thing with this Dealership. Had the "promotion" in the picture posted online. So decided I'd give it a go of getting a new car now instead of waiting. Started off in the wrong foot soon as I got there, the salesperson was sitting up on a personal FaceTime call in front of me. Very unprofessional. Took nearly 90 min before even doing a test drive and come to find out the guy just assumed I wanted base model instead of asking which trim which I didn't notice until it came down to finding out what my payment would be. But let's back up for a minute. Notice their promotion says they will give $4k over kbb, even with the mileage on my current car the value plus that should have been right about at what I owed on it, not more than $1k short of it at worst. They turn around an claim they need $1500 down payment because of the negative equity. Knew that was bs, but if the terms were favorable I would have been willing to do that much. Then they come back with a car payment high enough for me to have leased a brand new Benz and you think I'm going to pay that for a base model Altima new or not? GTFOH. Then when I say I would go no higher on the payment than $400 they try to talk me into buying a used 2018 base model Altima. What a f'ing insult. Then gonna try to tag another guy in when I asked for my keys so I can be on my way like he was really about to convince me into those ridiculous terms for a car I'm in no hurry to get. Not once during this process did they disclose any figures on the price of the car I wanted, the amount of my trade, etc. Just can you put this as a down payment and this is what you're payment looks like. No sir, you lost a sale...Good day. Prime example of why I hate going through the process of getting a car. These salespeople are never upfront or discuss things that may have been a red flag until they get your money, tear up your credit running it a million times, and have you ready to sign the documents. This further solidified my lack of urgency in getting another car any time soon, but when I do I will be driving home to Michigan where they are much cheaper and much more straightforward and transparent throughout the entire process. i bought a new sentra 2020 car. in june 2020 , after some time running , it happened a lot of car problems like 4 ways doors can't unlock and lock car , screen sometimes doesn't work , can't start car engine by the key, and the car dealer told me that sometimes when I leave the keys in the car, the car won't lock and signal but one time I forgot and the car was locked and there was no way to open it so I called someone to open the key When I bring my car to repair, my car had 45k miles on it, they told me that my car was out of maintenance. I just hope that in the future, if I come back to buy a car, I hope that when I buy a car, I won't have so many problems. Now I have to run a car with a bunch of problems. read more

My check engine light was on. I took my car to Nissan South Morrow for a check-up. I was sent an invoice on the suggested repairs. The check engine light was attributed to an issue that they "fixed". Well, two days later, my check engine light was back on! I called and was told that a "deeper issue" must be the problem. Deeper issue? So that means that my car was not checked thoroughly. I have been coming to Nissan South for about ten years, since I've owned my 2005 Nissan Altima and my 2014 Nissan Altima and I have always gotten nothing but superb service. There are normally four to five service people always readily available for your needs and assistance. Everyone is pretty knowledgeable and seem like they actually care about the customer. They will tell you what the recommended service is for your vehicle but won't bully you like some people in the same field would. My only problem is that I have noticed that no matter what you are getting done that it takes entirely too long. For instance I was getting a tire replaced that I previously had replaced three days prior but had a leak. I was there over two hours to get one tire replaced. Took my car back several times, called several times & no response. Filed a complaint with Nissan corporation, but was told I'd have to address it with the individual dealership. I mean at the end of the day we got the car we wanted at the price that was listed - but it was like pulling teeth. We had called ahead and made an appointment, knew what we wanted, had our credit pre-approved and it took HOURS (we had to stay until after closing because of how long it took) and our sales associate was dragging his feet (disappearing for long chunks of time leaving us sitting at his desk for 30+ minute windows). I had a pretty awful experience at this dealership. I'm in the market for a used car for my daughter and thought I'd take a look at what the dealership may have since she has narrowed down her choice of cars which includes a Nissan Sentra. The salesperson, who shall remain nameless because he's not worth wasting the time to type his name, started out okay with bringing out a car and letting my daughter test drive. She drove it around the lot and she liked it but this was also the first car that we'd looked at so we didn't want to commit to purchasing the car until we'd looked at it a couple of others. But of course, in order to get a final price you have to go into the "office". Mind you, I just wanted to get the price of the car but I'm having to give information, including my first name which the salesperson couldn't even spell correctly. Anyway the salesperson comes back out with a price that was slightly above my budget, so I definitely wanted to make sure that the car was truly worth the cost because if my daughter decided that it was what she wanted, I wouldn't mind going over the budget. So, I made the comment that "I think the car may have been in an accident. Do you have a CarFax report I can see?" This dude acted as if I'd asked for one of his kidneys and came back with "This car hasn't been in an accident" To which I replied okay, then show me the CarFax report. This is when things went left because then he starts talking about he's on commission and I'm wasting his time and if I wasn't buying the car then he wasn't going to bring me a CarFax report. I kid you not, this is what he said. He also said some pretty other outlandish stuff, like "This isn't a buy here, pay here lot", I don't know what the car buying experience is at a buy here pay here lot because I've never bought a car there but I assumed it was because I was a black woman who he assumed has bad credit (mind you I wasn't even seeking financing as I was buying the car with cash). Well, needless to say, I still have $20,000 in the bank collecting interest while he's still scraping the car lot trying to get a commission because time is money. Tho a good start w this dealership.. and evn to let me drive off w the car.. First, I cudnt register the car bec I was told the dealership hadn't completed paperwork. Long story short..I awoke one day and my car was gone! I only had it for 2 weeks! I was frantic.. Police told me it was repossessed. Tho all additional financial papers were turned in as asked, I learned that 4 days earlier the finance co denied the loan and the papers sent back to Nissan. I was never told of this or the denial nor given the chance to make any other arrangements. It was hurtful and embarrassing for me. I have nothing good to say abt this dealership, the Mgr nor Salesman who didn't evn have the decency to be there for an appt about this situation! So beware! Got a oil change they forgot to add the screw. Oil spilled all in garage in driveway. Had to pay to pay a mobile mechanic to give me another oil change in my drive way and fix the screw just to drive back at Nissan and they offer me 2 free oil changes.
