Starbucks = 5 stars - Free Ice. At times, the Starbucks in supermarkets charged for a cup of ice. Atmosphere - Consistent with the brand. With the exception of the GREAT service from Starbucks. Service - Good, both the deli person and cashier were good. Price - $10.14 for the wings - I thought that was pricey until I saw the size of each wing; worth it! Pre-made Turkey Wrap - Tasted pre-made and old. We should have gotten a fresh sandwich, but we were in a rush. I don't even know how much we paid for it. Owner Suggestion - Thanks for having a Safeway here, during our 7 hour drive from Las Vegas to Reno, we did not see many options for supermarkets.

Joseph at the self-checkout and Diane in the cosmetics department both demonstrated exemplary customer service. They each took the initiative to assist me, and I sincerely appreciated their kindness and willingness to help. Sometimes it can be difficult to find someone when you need assistance, but on this particular day, they noticed I could use a hand and stepped in without hesitation. Their thoughtfulness and genuine care made my shopping experience so much easier. Words can't fully express my gratitude. Joseph and Diane are outstanding examples of what excellent customer service should look like, and I hope they receive the recognition they truly deserve.

I can't comment on the quality of meat from here but from what I've heard, it's hit and miss. There is no bakery and all the bakery items they do carry are pre packaged and shipped in. The frozen food section also lacks variety. Customer service, from my experience, is hit and miss. They have/had a few employees who are nice and will actually talk to you while the others can barely get out a, "how are you", at the check stand. Often, there is only one cashier and a long line. The cashier will ask for help over the PA only for it to go ignored or unheard. The one and only consistent thing about this store is the smell. It hits you like a ton of bricks the second you walk in. Not sure if it's from whatever they use to clean or if it's a lack of cleaning causing it but regardless, it stinks. They really need to figure that one out. Bottom line is they benefit from being the only game in town (aside from Family Dollar). Not a problem for me because I only work here. For locals, however, they don't have a choice on where to go unless they feel like driving an hour in either direction. Over 4hrs of being inside bathrooms never got touch and were filthy eating are got cleaned around the 4th hour but was dirty when I 1st arrived, so not sure how long it was that way but at least it finally got cleaned unlike the bathroom. I understand that it happens but to wear that, be at work with your attitude, just stay home the customers and staff don't need to deal with the attitude. If you don't want to, don't wear it. It's unprofessional and deters everyone and you're supposed to be the support the customers and staff need, but based on the state of the store it's understandable why it was the way it was. My only compliment and the reason for the 3 star, would have been a 1 instead, was the 3 employees at Arby's and Godfathers, I didn't get any of their name. First the 2 young gentleman at Arby's were great to watch. They kept busy and had amazing teamwork helping where needed. Secondly the young lady at Godfathers. I think was here at the start of her shift and my word I don't think she even had time to breathe. It seemed that the person before her left everything for her. Her customer service was amazing throughout it all, smile on her face and respectful. Literally if she wasn't cooking she was cleaning. She also made one of the best pizzas I have had from one of the godfathers! These 3 employees were just amazing to watch the teamwork they all had and work ethic were exemplary.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. I stop in now and then for a snack or drink, it is nice to have indoor and some outdoor seating. The liquor selection is better than I have seen at any other location too. There are single barrel picks from my favorite, Frey Ranch. I have also seen allocated tequila and whiskey at regular MSRP.
