OVERALL: I LOVED this resort. Went here for work retreat of 21 people for 4 nights. Lucky work paid for alot of it (thanks!!) but I did book spa treatment :). It is on the very high end yet you won't be disappointed because the quality of service and experience staying here was truly exceptional. RESORT Nizuc is close to the Cancun airport, away from the hotel zone. It is very safe for guests to stay at because you enter and exit through secure gate. Very peaceful, it is not situated between other hotels so it feels more secluded. The resort is kid and dog friendly. Can do paddle boarding and snorkeling on the property. Pretty much don't even need to leave at all during the stay. Hotel handled arrangements for our group in connecting us to excursions and transportation. (ie: catamaran to Isla Mujeres, Chichen Itza + cenote). Stayed in ocean view room with 2 queen beds + balcony. I was by myself but can easily fit my family here with no problem. Housekeeping cleans room daily and does turndown service so check your treat in the small bag each night, it's something different. You can exchange dollar to peso at the front desk without problem for when you venture out of the resort to places that only accept pesos but I couldn't change peso back to dollar. The entire resort accepts dollars and all major credit cards. MEALS We had buffet breakfast (roughly $50 USD pp) at the cafe de la playa and there are plenty of options. I always requested Mexican hot chocolate and loved eating the cottage cheese with papaya & guava. American continental is offered (pancakes, waffles, omelets to order etc) but also local Mexican flavors worth trying for breakfast. Variety of pastries even mini pan dulce! For dinners, the restaurants our group dined at prepared 3 course menu to make it easier serving a group of 21 people. Dined at Ramona, Terra Nostra, and Indochine. The fish dishes were much better than the beef dishes IMO. I would go back to Indochine just to try sushi! So good! Nizuc is kosher friendly and even offers menu for dogs. The room service breakfast was exquisite, beautifully presented and fresh. SPA The spa is not to be missed!! My most serene, cleanest and rejuvenating spa experience to date. The spa gardens are beautiful, with koi pond. I did not have problem booking spa appointment in the morning. Bring a swimsuit with you. Spa hours are 9am to 9pm. I had the Feel Perfect facial which included back massage + exfoliation and a facial, scalp massage in a private cabana for 90 minutes. I would have done a longer spa treatment if there was more time in my schedule. After the spa treatment you go through a hydrotherapy circuit. You start in sauna, cold shower, steam room, ice room, then soak in a large and spacious jacuzzi. No bad smell in sauna or steam room!! After jacuzzi you sit in tile chair that is heated, and attendant will offer water or tea, place cool patches over your eyes, do a light scalp massage while adding some oil too. It was delightful FITNESS CENTER It is located next to the spa and has all the equipment you'd expect to keep up with workout routine. I had a good time exercising in the aerobic room. Fitness center open from 7am to 6pm during my stay. Came here weekend before MLK, the weather was perfect. Jan thru May is best time to visit Cancun. I want to come back here again! Highly recommend.

Our balcony (considered "deluxe ocean view") was a great spot to have coffee and ride out the brief afternoon storms.

My man + I recently spent a full week at this amazing resort and wowza! I mean, this place is bougie AF so...what's not to like? From the moment you drive into Nizuc, it's clear this resort is special. The giant entry gates give off a Jurassic Park vibe as you journey into this very luxurious and private resort. The grounds are beautifully maintained with the only sounds being the quiet hum from an occasional golf cart taking guests to and fro. At check-in, you are greeted with ice cold cucumber tea and a cool towel...and from this point forward, every.single.staff.member calls you by name. Seriously. From the butler to the golf car drivers to the concierge, everyone calls you Mr. ____ or Ms. ____. (I'd love to know how they do it, but I envisioned the scene in The Devil Wears Prada where an assistant is required to memorize a photo book of every guest and whisper it into Meryl Streep's ear at just the right moment. Except that there was no assistant and the recognition was universal across the staff. You feel like a celebrity, but I guess for $700+/night you should...?) Speaking of the staff, all I can say is WOW. I have never encountered hotel staff as warm, genuine, and attentive as Nizuc's. Again, not only did they all greet us by name (how?!?) but they also remembered every detail of our itinerary. As we exited the building in the morning, our butler would ask, "Ms. ____, do you need anything before your 8pm reservation at X Restaurant?" Then the golf cart driver would say, "Ms. ____, how did you enjoy snorkeling yesterday?" or "Mr. ____, is there anything you need in your room?" The service was insanely top notch. Within the resort, there are two large pools - one adult and one family pool. Wanting a serene experience, we spent a day or two at the adult pool before venturing to the family pool. Surprisingly, we actually preferred the family pool. Perhaps it was because there were very few kids, or perhaps it was the swim-up bar (okay, it was definitely the latter) but we just found the energy at the family pool to be on point. We spent at least a portion of every day under a cabana poolside where the ambiance and service was totally on point. Super relaxing! I must share that we were there in early October which is, for some strange reason, the low season. We were told the resort was only 20-25% capacity, so perhaps we felt so special because there were so few guests. However, I get the impression Nizuc goes out of the way to provide an insane level of service regardless of season. Not to be outdone, Nizuc's restaurants are top notch. During our stay, we tried all of them and were mostly impressed by each one. (The one exception was Cafe de la Playa, which we found to be way overpriced for average quality breakfast. I just don't need a $32 omelette unless it truly knocks my socks off and it didn't, however I have eggs every morning and had no other option since Cafe de la Playa is Nizuc's only breakfast restaurant. It was the one place we felt a bit price gouged.) Indochine and Ramona were the clear standout dining experiences. And once again, the service was always outstanding. We had no fewer than 3 servers everywhere we went. Nary a sip was taken without someone immediately refilling our glass. Nizuc guests have complimentary access to paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling gear and we found the reef just feet from Nizuc's private pier to be a quite peaceful place to float and snorkel. My man + I are the type who actually work out on vacation, and we found the gym to be fairly well equipped. There was actually a smith bar, ample dumbbells, a few weight machines, and plenty of cardio options (dozens of bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, etc.). Each time we left our room, housekeeping came in to make the bed, replace water bottles, freshen towels, etc. And each evening turn down service left a note and a sweet treat. While I usually prefer a condo or Airbnb with a kitchen for a weeklong stay, Nizuc couldn't have been more perfect! B O T T O M L I N E : Go! Very bougie but 5-stars all the way around!

I mean it doesn't get any better then this! The food is just incredible, service is as good as it gets, it's just the perfect place for a great relaxing vacation AND I brought my five year old!

All I can say is WOW. If I can give this resort 100 stars, this is it. I have to say this place is on my top 3 places you MUST visit. I went with my husband to treat it as a mini moon and it delivered. I hope and wish for everyone to experience such a place of luxury, all around exclusive service, class, and beauty. This resort and spa has also been listed on Condé Naste's must place to visit and it delivered. From the moment you walk in, the breathtaking views, and amazing architecture- the place is art in itself. It was seriously sensory overload as all my senses took over. The views, calming scent and sounds of the ocean... this was definitely a place of serenity and beauty inside and out. As an Amex platinum member, we were also upgraded to a suite and it was so nice. The views, and the bathroom was magical. I can go on and on but you really need to go to experience this place for yourselves and you MUST go. The spa is another review in itself. I highly recommend everyone to book a spa service here. The infinity pool was magical and the private beach was beyond perfection. The morning buffet was first class and we enjoyed our stay here so much. It is definitely a place for couples as it is very romantic and can't recommend it enough. RUN.

5 star all the way! The service, the venue, the rooms, the food- complete luxury! The ONLY place to stay in Cancun. We went the Ritz for one night at the end due to a flight cancellation and it was terrible compared to the Nizuc! This place it 10 stars out of 5! The vibe is so amazing - it's like you are in Isla Mujeres or Playa Del Carmen yet you are literally only 15 min from the Cancun airport!!!! Get a great rate on skylark travel or a deal on a hotel site so you can avoid the $1000 a night price tag and snag a good deal. It's worth it! You can see the sunrise and sunset! Thanks to our hostess Nazaret for most meals she works hard! Definitely recommend the Nizuc! Romantic, luxury, chill getaway! The music is so good and nice everywhere and puts you in a zen state. Get away from chaos and restore here. Ask for room in front building facing beach, high floor. Compliments to the extraordinary butlers! All of them fantastic! El Punta is so good are there 4 nights in a row! Excellent mocktails on property too!

Man....... there's so much to say about this place you could write a book! Thoroughly impressed from top to bottom from the moment you walk in the door. Place feels like Jurassic Park when you come through the huge stone gates and to the main building. Immediately greeted with an incredible water garden and it's so peaceful! Cool towel and drinks to get you properly checked in comes in handy on a hot day. We went in mid March so just at the beginning of the COVID-19 situation. There were like 100 cases in Mexico, so no one seemed worried, but they were vigilant with their cleaning and you had your temp taken anytime you left and came back to the property. Even though it had just started, bookings were wayyyyyyy down, so felt like we had the place to ourselves! Nizuc sits on a lagoon in the middle of the jungle basically and is very spread out so driving around in the golf carts is a must! With so much foliage, at night you literally feel like you're in Jurassic Park and have to listen to the trees for signs of velociraptors! Everyone was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing and you got more than your money's worth. Rooms were nicely appointed and anything you wanted was just a phone call away. Multiple pools to relax in, beach access and water sport rentals (though you can't get a jet ski and ride around on your own we found out). Gym is incredible. Have never seen a better hotel/resort gym in my life! Got a spa treatment with salt scrubs, wet/dry sauna, hydrotherapy, cold plunge, head/neck massage and decompression area with a pool! Not really for singles, though we came at a weird time with the virus and such. Great for families, couples and people that just want to get away and relax. No crazy loud music and pool parties which is fine by me. It's a pricey adult vacation and worth every penny! Highly recommend

Asparagus with some cold Parmesan sprinkled on top then hit with a blow torch which tastes like pure lighter fluid.
Daniel H.

I would give it 5 stars but the food is no bueno, way overpriced bland and frankly weird. You have got to be kidding.... la Punta is grossly overpriced and had the bizarre asparagus with the lighter fluid torched cheese. We were promised a much better experience at Ramona which ended up with us leaving after three hours of very slow service of each tasting course weirder than the previous. All for the low price of $600 including the 6 total cocktails. Don't get me wrong we stay here often and Nizuc is amazing in every way for esthetics, design atmosphere fantastic staff but the food is just gross and overpriced nonsense that does not stand up to the incredible design and staff. The breakfast is plentiful and the only food that is doable. But most of that is catered in pastries, breads and cereals ... fruit , bacon and charcuterie. Hard to mess that up. I would completely say to stay here for the design, staff and beauty. Just go outside of property to eat...

And what used to be "the world's largest telephone booth" would dominate ANY hotel in the USA. The people are overly friendly as long as you are not doing shady things. And with billboards offering services directly to your room and a hospital system where you only go if you're sick. The "grey area" is a pretty loose term. The entire hotel is illuminated with L.E.D.'s. The space is immaculate. It was 1/4 mile from the room to the lobby. The ballrooms and convention spaces are like a stadium. (Indoors or outdoors). The public bus arrives every (2) minutes and are often full. It is approximately .50 US to go 30 miles downtown. Just looking at the creative ideas a child could write a book . "This ain't Tijuana". Every single person that works at this property is out of this world! Kind, helpful and always going above and beyond to make things memorable! There's always a little bit of construction because they're renovating, so plan accordingly by calling with them to make sure the areas you want open, are open. The new speakeasy is super cute. We visited there one evening and have the best time and service! This isn't the same restaurant where you go to breakfast but at night is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Everything was fantastic but all the food on the property is really great! We especially loved to order lunch by the pool. All the cocktails are fantastic, even poolside! Rooms are standard JW with some of them recently updated with the others on their way to being updated. Yes, there is a sort of a musty smell in the air, but that's in most hotels. It's a very hard to keep those highly humid rooms from smelling a little musty. You just have to get over it and enjoy the time outside the room. Pools are super cute and the beach area is nice. There is an adult pool that is open during the day but wish it was open later! Lots of places in walking distance if you decide to venture out of the property but why would you need to! Easy drive from the airport and to the downtown or for departure to Isla Mujeres. We did not go to the island this time but last time we booked everything through the hotel and they made it super easy.

No balcony, no patio etc..They required us to pay extra for a room with a balcony. Well, I couldn't breathe in the original room, so we were backed into a corner and had to pay extra for a different room. Nothing like penny pinching. Their check out was 10, so we all had to accommodate the earlier time in order to operate as a group. The hotel wasn't even busy! It is a far stretch calling this a resort and spa. I didn't see anything that fit in that category. The room we paid to upgrade to did have a great view. I would not recommend this place. The spa was fantastic, offering step-by-step guidance through the dry sauna, steam room, and both warm and cool pools-such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The hotel sits right on the beach with breathtaking views and features several pools, including one with a fun swim-up bar. Dining options were excellent, with several restaurants to choose from, including Mediterranean, Mexican, buffet, Asian, sushi, steakhouse, and American cuisine. Our room was fantastic, with a rainfall shower, comfortable beds, prompt housekeeping, 24-hour room service, and turn-down service. We also enjoyed live entertainment and a night club on the property, yet it remained wonderfully quiet when we wanted to relax. We loved the aromatherapy --it was such a thoughtful touch. The location is very convenient: close to a pharmacy, just across the street from a shopping mall with a mix of upscale and casual dining and shops, and only 10-15 minutes from Cancun's vibrant club zone. We checked in on a Sunday around 4:30, and the room was already cleaned up and ready. We stayed in one of the terrace rooms on the fourth floor, and the room was well maintained the whole trip. Housekeeping was really good, and the lady who seemed to consistently clean our room was super friendly. They also do evening turndown service between about 6 and 9, which I liked more than I thought I would. The food was hit or miss. Sea Corner was easily the biggest disappointment. You really have to like ceviche to enjoy that spot. I tried the battered fish taco, which was a really small rolled fried fish taco and honestly tasted kind of stale. The red snapper tostada was okay, but still pretty subpar. Overall, Sea Corner is one I would skip. Ciete's breakfast buffet was decent, but still very buffet. Some of the food had that stale, been-sitting-out-too-long taste, but the omelet bar and fresh juice/smoothie bar helped a lot. They have two omelet bars, which spreads people out, and Marco at the smoothie bar was awesome. He remembered me after my first smoothie and was friendly the rest of the trip. Azure was pretty good. We split hummus and pita, and I got the chicken in red wine. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came on a bed of mashed potatoes that were really good. Dessert was just okay. The baklava was very cinnamon-heavy and almost tasted like a churro. MB was good and definitely felt like their "dress up" restaurant. I had the stuffed chicken, my girlfriend had the veal cheek, and we also tried the filet mignon. The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the meal overall was good. Not amazing, but one of the better dinners there. Hidden Garden was probably our favorite restaurant. We went there twice because it was that good compared to the other options. The samosas, gyoza, chicken satay, shrimp fried rice, and desserts were all really good. The Thao, basically their version of orange chicken, was also really good. The pad Thai was okay, but sweeter than I prefer. Their signature cocktails were also really good. The Thursday night show was a nice part of the trip. They had a buffet by the pool, with a mariachi band from 7 to 8 and traditional Mexican dancing from 8 to 9. The dancing was almost like a theater-style show, and that part was great. The buffet was on par or slightly below par. They had a crepe bar, a grill with pretty good steak and chicken, and a couple decent soups, but a lot of it still had that left-out-too-long, slightly stale buffet taste. The entertainment and activities were a big highlight. Trivia every night was great, and karaoke was a blast once people started getting into it. Pablo hosted trivia and karaoke with Jorge as the DJ, and Pablo brought a lot of energy. Jorge also DJs at Egos later at night, and they played a good mix of American dance music and Latin dance music. During the day, we tried archery, water aerobics, bingo, the guacamole class, casino night, and a self-facial class. Archery was a blast, and aqua aerobics in the infinity pool was really fun. Ricky was a ball of energy, and Jocelyn was really cool too. The activities did not feel like boring resort filler, which was a nice surprise. A few things could be better. Pool towel service closes at 6, even though people are still in the pool later. There is also basically no shade in most of the pools, so you get crispy pretty fast. They also need to be clearer about which pool beds are first-come, first-serve and which ones are paid or for Club Aqua. I saw multiple people get moved because it was not explained well. Communication could be better too. Some restaurants are closed on certain days, probably because the resort was around 50% capacity, but they should give you a schedule at check-in. We planned to try Verana, their Italian restaurant, and then found out it was closed that day. The humidity is something to think about. Obviously it is Cancun, but the indoor areas and hallways do not have much air circulation. Our fourth-floor hallway also had a broken water feature with sitting water, and I think that made the hallway smell more humid and musky than the rest of the resort. The drinks were decent, but I would not go in expecting strong resort cocktails. I drank margaritas and pina coladas most of the trip and never really felt much from them. For stronger drinks, shots are probably the better route. Overall, Live Aqua Cancun was a really nice, relaxing trip. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the activities were way more fun than expected, and Hidden Garden was a nice surprise. The food is not amazing across the board, the pool setup could be better, and communication could use work, but I still had a really good time. Good resort, not perfect, but definitely worth checking out.

Somethings were wayyy too salty, or were over cooked or undercooked (crunchy risotto - no thanks!) but most food items were pretty good - amazing skirt steak and great shrimp! There's tons of variety of food so you won't get bored. The beaches did have a lot of sargassum when we went but they did a great job keeping the north beach and taco arte beaches clear. Sometimes all inclusive hotels can feel gimmicky, like being on a cruise ship or something. This was not that at all. This was a high end experience from start to finish. The hotel service and facilities are impeccable. I was blown away by the care they take to tend to each guest. I was only there for a few days and people took the effort to learn my name and my personal preferences. To start, the room was incredible. I stayed in a suite and it had a juccuzi right inside the room and an ocean view with a hammock. The room also came with a mini bar which was restocked daily (although you could also call and request anything at any time). Every day they had a different schedule of activities for guests with quality entertainment (not tacky acts). They had all all white party with a circus one day which was fun, a foam party, bull riding and more. The food deserves its own review. It exceed my expectations by a lot. They had several food options to choose from, including an Asian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a mexican restaurant a cafe and a global buffet. The restaurants were all open extended hours until 10 or 10:30 so there were always food options available. The global buffet did different themed dinners every night. Of the restaurants, I liked all but I'd say the Mediterranean was the most high quality. The preparation and taste was on par with any top NYC restaurant. The octopus dish was especially memorable. Second favorite was probably the Mexican restaurant. They have a chef from Oaxaca who makes a great mole. At each restaurant, the managers always made an effort to stop by my table to make sure I had what I needed. The employees genuinely care about serving you and they do it gladly. Sometimes you go to places where the employees are disgruntled or have a bad attitude. Not the case here at all. Everyone seemed generally happy and in a good mood. It felt like most of the people here were celebrating something, whether a bachelorette party or birthday, but it didn't feel overall raucous or anything. They had a silent disco one night and I think that also helped with any potential late night noise issues. I was really impressed with how well curated the schedule of activities was. Additionally, the hotel was very clean. When I first got in, people were mopping. They're constantly changing pool towels that are left out. Everything was spotless. The sheets were crisp and white. My room was changed to my liking. No complaints. One of the better places I've stayed. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I loved it here!

Of course. This was not my first visit to Hyatt Zilara Cancun and it was actually my amazing experience here in 2019 that started my loyalty to Hyatt. I am currently a World of Hyatt Discoverist member, and after my first visit to Zilara, we loved the Hyatt experience so much that we chose Hyatt Ziva for our vow renewal in 2022. Because of that, returning to Zilara was something I had looked forward to for years. First, the staff at this resort deserves so much recognition. My concerns are not a reflection of the employees because the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. From before we even arrived to our final day, everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted guests to have a great experience. Before our trip, Eddie reached out as our concierge and was extremely helpful in making sure we were prepared for our stay. He helped coordinate our spa services ahead of time and assisted us with securing a late checkout, which made our trip much smoother and more relaxing. At check-in, Luis helped us on the World of Hyatt side and was wonderful. He explained the changes and additions to the resort, helped us understand reservations, and made sure we had the information we needed. Throughout the resort, the service remained consistent. Even when I had a meal I didn't enjoy, a staff member at the teppanyaki restaurant was genuinely concerned, offered alternatives, and wanted to make it right. That level of care stood out. Our room was excellent. We stayed on the fifth floor in a corner room and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, and I loved the pillows so much I am actually trying to find out what kind they are so I can buy them for home. The bathroom was great, especially the mirror with multiple lighting options. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which I always appreciate. The only thing I personally missed was having a bathtub, but overall I had no complaints about the room. The resort itself is beautiful and extremely clean. The pool area is relaxing with comfortable chairs, and it was never difficult to find a place to sit. The atmosphere is definitely more quiet and relaxing rather than a party environment, which can be a positive depending on the type of trip you want. The beach was well maintained, especially considering the seaweed situation during our visit. The staff worked hard to keep it cleaned up, and the things outside of the resort's control, like weather and ocean conditions, did not impact my opinion. The spa was absolutely phenomenal and I wrote a separate review specifically for that experience because it deserves its own recognition. The gym was also impressive for a resort gym. There was plenty of equipment, treadmills, a stretching/yoga space, and even a Pilates studio. I was hoping to participate in Pilates, but the class filled up quickly. I thought the fitness offerings were a nice addition. Where this stay fell short for me was the food. At an all-inclusive resort, the food experience is such a huge part of the overall value because you are eating every meal on property. When we visited in 2019, one of our favorite memories was eating at Pelicanos by the pool, so we were excited to return there first. We knew things had changed since our last visit, but unfortunately the quality and options did not feel the same. We tried several restaurants, and while the service was always great, the food itself was disappointing. The Italian restaurant felt very bland overall, although the bread service and tiramisu were enjoyable. The cacio e pepe and pasta dishes did not meet expectations. The teppanyaki experience also was not what I expected. I was hoping for more of a traditional hibachi-style experience, and the meat quality was disappointing. The buffet was fine, especially breakfast, but nothing really stood out. Room service was quick and the staff was friendly, but again the food itself was not something we loved. My favorite treat on property ended up being the ice cream at the coffee shop. The biggest thing I missed was having easy poolside food options. When I'm at an all-inclusive, I love being able to relax by the pool and grab things like quesadillas, ceviche, or small bites without stopping the pool day. The lack of that type of experience was probably my biggest disappointment. Drinks and pool service were great, and the staff did a wonderful job checking on guests. I personally don't drink alcohol, but it was clear they were attentive with beverages. Entertainment was limited compared to some other all-inclusive resorts. There were some activities and a few performances, but not the larger

The lobby is beautiful, it's a smaller resort so we could easily find out way around. Lots of choices for food and drinks, we never went hungry! But I ended up in the buffet the most, just loved it! So many choices, you could get a different meal every time! Stick with the Mexican foods, so good! Swim up bar, get any drinks your wanted in the pool, so pretty! Easy access to the beach and walking along we saw turtles just hatching! Our room was comfortable with the AC working great, very clean! Bring lots of $1 for tipping, many employees all around!

I told the Bartender (who noticed and understood the insults and looked pretty uncomfortable too) that I didn't want to be too upset during my birthday trip by cursing anyone out. I asked him if he could tell the rowdy hotel guests to chill out and be respectful. He did,and sure enough they stopped. They calmed down and stopped all the insults and laughter. Aside from the weird hotel guests,I had a wonderful stay. Excellent customer service and friendly staff ,great location, very clean facility. I would definitely return one day.

Check in with Diego was a breeze. Although they did not offer us an upgrade, which could have been possible through our credit card partnership, he did let us pick a room from what was available. We picked 5044. The view was good, not a full ocean view but we did have a partial ocean view. The hotel and room were very clean. The staff was very attentive and anticipated our needs. I was very please with the hotel. It exceeded my expectations. If I ever return to Cancun, I would stay here again.

Unfortunately, for the past two years, our experiences have declined significantly. The hotel no longer maintains the level of service and standards we once loved. The atmosphere feels different, the staff are not as welcoming, and there is a noticeable lack of attentiveness and care. During this stay, we had a particularly unpleasant two-day experience at the beach regarding the setup of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rather than going into every detail, I will simply say the situation was handled poorly and left us very disappointed. What was most upsetting was that no meaningful effort was made to resolve the issue or make up for the inconvenience. Even after speaking with Guest Relations, who mentioned contacting the General Manager, nothing improved the following day. No accommodation or gesture was offered, which was surprising given the hotel's luxury positioning. It is also noticeable that the property feels quite empty during weekdays, except on special occasions or long weekends. Even then, the warmth and hospitality we once associated with this hotel seem to be missing. That said, I want to sincerely recognize Valenzo, who served us daily. He was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything, he would notice small details, like refilling ice before we even realized it was melting. His service was outstanding and he truly tried to make our stay better. Thank you, Valenzo. You made a difference. It is genuinely sad to see a place that once meant so much to us lose its standard. We hope management takes guest feedback seriously and invests in retraining staff to restore the level of service this property was once known for.

We arrived late and asked for bottled water, and were told to just drink the sink water... in Mexico. That alone set the tone. I also repeatedly emailed our concierge for assistance and received no response whatsoever. Our room smelled like mold, and the sheets were damp. Housekeeping replaced them, but the odor and overall condition never improved. Not what you expect at this level. Then it got worse. We had two rooms, one at this hotel and one at a neighboring hotel where a large group of our family was staying. That other hotel requires wristbands, which we had, so security here assumed we didn't belong, even though we had rooms at this property. At the pool, they approached us publicly and repeatedly questioned us, over and over, in front of everyone. No attempt to verify privately, no discretion, just standing over us and making a scene. It was humiliating. Then it happened again. While checking out, we crossed back onto this property to retrieve our luggage that they were holding. Security stopped us again and treated us like we were doing something wrong, only to confirm, once again, that we were legitimate guests. Two separate incidents. Same behavior. The level of aggression and lack of professionalism from security is completely out of control. This is not how paying guests should ever be treated. This wasn't just a misunderstanding, it was a failure in how guests are handled, and it happened more than once. We will never stay here again.
