Popped into the liquor store last week and was shocked to find it had a bar inside. Looked like a cool place to hangout, but I was skeptical when I read online that it had a menu. Decided to come back this week with a friend for Happy Hour and was pleasantly surprised the food was actually good! Had drinks (Sangria and Prosecco) and shared the Nacho appetizer and beef tacos! Pretty flavorful and the service wasn't bad for a Wednesday night with a full bar. Ordered the Truffle Fries, and though they were a tad pricey at $9, they do give you a generous helping. Three people could have split that easily. Side note: Love the festive decor and the staff in the liquor store part and the bar side, were all so nice! Would definitely return! read more

Great atmosphere, excellent food and perfect service. The meals are generous portions and the craft beer selections have a little of everything not just IPAs like some places. Kayla was a friendly bartender. The burger had plenty of bacon and it was cooked perfectly. We have returned twice and enjoyed their wine and beer selections. Wednesday is wing night for $1.50 wings and from what we've been told by others at the bar their wings are huge and very tasty. read more

My husband & I ordered pickup from here. We heard about the crab cake sandwich & were so excited to try. We were told pickup in 20 & it actually took a little over 30 mins to get after waiting inside at the bar for almost 15 mins. Brought the food home & YUM. The sandwich was flavorful & the fries were seasoned well. The empanadas were okay - they were more on the tomato sauce-y side. Will definitely be back for the crab cake though! read more

Used to come here quite often , but probably won't anymore. The food is still good though. Maybe because we went on a Tuesday, . We ordered food which I said is still good. We had to ask the server for plates and then for napkins and utensils. Wally was behind the bar talking to a customer and constantly used the f word. We had 2 young kids with us and could hear every word . Not cool . read more

This place is a little gem. Very deceiving on the outside as it looks like any other liquor store. When you step-in, you'll see it has the best selection of beer, wine, spirits and even a great selection of fine cheese and snacks. But the beauty of this place is the pub. They serve up wines and beers that change out daily AND they have a pub menu of eats that will keep you coming back ( we frequent several times a week now) because it is THAT good. We usually order their burgers, fried chicken sandwich, chicken wings and cheese plate. But every time we venture into trying something new, it never disappoints. A smallish menu of well crafted eats that is consistently delicious. Best of all the staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. We feel very fortunate to have a local pub of this quality so close to our home. read more

I came here because untappd said they had a beer I had been looking for awhile. Unfortunately they didn't have it but one of the employees on the floor (I believe his name was Kenny) was very helpful in helping pick out some other beers since they had such a great selection and a lot of beers I hadn't seen before. I went in for a four pack and ended up leaving for four different four packs. I also did not know they had a bar so after my shopping, I stopped in for a couple beers. The owner was behind the bar at the time and he was very nice! Nicole came in a little bit later and she was very nice and really knew about the beers! I unfortunately don't know anything about wine but we got on the conversation of wine at one point and she seemed to really know them too. It's always nice to go to a bar with a bartender who actually knows what they are serving. I left NJWineSeller very happy and I haven't stopped telling people about it since I went about four days ago! I heard their food was really good but I had just eaten before I came so I will have to try the food out next time I go, which will hopefully be soon! Thanks guys!! read more

I really want to like this place, but they are still new and making dumb mistakes. I love their selection though, so am taking only one star away. In the area, they have the largest variety and are very helpful, however, I want to see them get even better by correcting the following: - Their credit card processor didn't like my Amex that works everywhere else. They blamed the card, which I was able to use right afterwards elsewhere for a larger purchase. This was not a balance issue. This was them either not understanding their new points-of-sale, since I put my card in prior to them ringing everything up and it therefore did not want to allow the card to be scanned again and though that I was making a mulicare transaction, but they didn't know what button to press, so they just blamed me. - Even on Super Bowl Sunday, they opened at 11am instead of earlier. Really annoying. They probably lost a lot of business. - They did not have Diet Tonic water. - I took my wife to the beer and wine bar during a football game. There were no seats available because it was filled with old people and the game volume wasn't on and their was no music. The scene was awkward. Would be so easy for them to fix that. - They still don't have a rewards program. read more

So I know these guys from their store Cranford. Great beer and wine selection. Very knowledgeable about both subjects. I stopped in for the purpose of checking out their food and craft draft list. No NE...Northeast or New England style IPA on tap. I was a little disappointed but I got past it quickly. I was offered two generously poured samples of local brews. I settled on a Left Hand Stout and a rare burger. Burger was well done when it arrived. I didn't make a big deal but brought it up. I ate it anyway. They had the chef making a bunch of dishes for a photo shoot and I may or may not be in a pic. I offered to hold a local brew 4 pack for a shot in the liquor store. Now the liquor is quite impressive. The beer selection is vast and has a beer for every type of tastebud! I didn't get to check out the wine but will def go back to grab a few bottles. They have themed nights including taco Tuesdays. I wish they had a few more vegetarian/vegan options. They're going to have some growing pains as expected. Come on down and check the place out. They're hosting a Maker's Mark food pairing at the end of March. Should be fun!! read more

Decent beer selection, but after they posted on untapped they had a beer when I showed up to purchase they told me they would not sell it to me as it was not in their system. Normally I would understand it was a mistake, but the last time I was there this happened to the person in front of me after they pulled from their "stash" in the back for a customer. Plenty of other good beer spots in the area. read more
