I've been to this place twice now. It is cute and has plenty of seating to hang out or get on your laptop. The drinks are as you might expect ay a boba shop: mill teas, slushes, etc. The first time I came in, I ordered one of my usual suspects, Taro milk tea. I'm not sure what kind of mix they use, but this time I was not particularly impressed with the flavor. Maybe it's just not what I'm used to, but it tasted more like a milkshake than a milk tea. I perused the loose T section and ended up really liking a couple of them and bought a couple ounces each of the Waters Edge tea blend and Brain Boost Moringa. I've really been enjoying them at home. Today, in this our first day of the Fire Horse, I came in for the lunar new year red envelope promotion and got some drinks for the fam. I ordered a variation of one of my favorites: honey oolong milk tea, 25% sugar, with a slightly salty cold foam (where I come from they call it a milk cap but it might be a little different). It was EXCELLENT. I also ordered a Thai milk tea (for me to save for tomorrow), coconut lychee slush (also me lol), strawberry watermelon slush, and mango pineapple. I was told the strawberry watermelon combo had two main character flavors competing for top spot and they will try another strawberry drink next time. The young ladies running the place were cheerful and sweet even at the 9th hour when I came in and I made sure to tip well. Great staff in there! The quality of the beverages are excellent. I always been a fan of the avocado slush! Ive been a fan since I moved here in 2006! The flavors are basic... the kiddos had a tough time deciding becuase the service was disappointing. I brought the kiddos - boba and milk tea is a new world to them. Stopped in for some boba on our way home from hiking around Lake Mead today. I will say that 2 big pros were the large space with ample outlets (great for remote working or studying) and the massive menu with tons of boba options and food! Service was not friendly. The woman taking our order seemed annoyed, like we were bothering her by being there. Not a great 1st impression. My husband opted for the tropical green tea with honey boba, he said it was decent. I opted for a classic; brown sugar milk tea with honey boba and caramel drizzle added (saw a review where someone suggested the caramel addition). This was the most flavorless brown sugar milk tea I've ever had. Thank god I saw the suggestion for caramel sauce because that was the only ingredient that gave this drink any amount of flavor. I would be interested in coming in for a 2nd try in a few months, but for now we'll be skipping No 1 Boba Tea. So many great boba places around the valley with friendlier service. read more

Review #64 of 2024 3pm visit on Thursday December 12th. I swung by to pick up a takeout order, with the Hoisin Pork Belly Bao still fresh in my memory from my previous visit earlier this year. I also grabbed some popcorn chicken for my kids. My oldest chose a Strawberry slush topped with Strawberry popping boba. The whole process was smooth and quick, and we were back on our way in no time. Our food was ready in less than twenty minutes. First time coming to this location and it is definitely different from the others. Came here on a Friday afternoon and it seemed pretty empty. The interior seemed very spacious and it was nice they offered a separate area for high tea services. They have a huge selection of different drinks from teas to smoothies and slushes. I ordered the original milk tea, regular sugar and regular ice, as that was what I was feeling at the time. I was assisted immediately and the lady who served brought my drink out very quickly. As I tried the milk tea, it tasted not so great, almost as if there was something wrong with it. At first I wasn't a fan of this boba spot but it's the closest one to my house. One day I decided to try it again, I got the Lychee Coconut swirl and fell in love! Now every time I go here that is my order. It is soooo good. It's just the amount of each flavor to make it blend perfectly. There's so much on the menu, they have something for everyone. I understand she was busy, but it would have been nice to be acknowledged--especially since she walked past me multiple times. What bothered me more was her attitude when she finally did take my order. She looked irritated. They've got a pretty good variety of boba drinks along with coffees and other pastries. The seating is pretty cool, really family (and child) friendly, with tables and sofa seating with stuffed pillows for the kids (and kids at heart). It was delicious. The place has plenty of tables and chairs inside. There are some sweets available, like macaroons and pastries, & a small food menu as well. Okay, what a cute addition to Water Street! I came here with a craving for boba and knew this location just opened, and is open early (so nice, considering most boba spots only open after 11am) so I made my way over. There's a parking lot right behind and it's free parking which is great. There's also some street parking right out front, but that was taken when I came. It's a short walk from the parking lot so not too bad at all. Walking in, I was so surprised with how big this location is! I've been to the one on Eastern, and this one is far bigger. It's huge! I now get the "social" part in the name because there's tons of tables and lounge seating to sit and mingle with friends over some delicious boba. My biggest problem when it comes to ordering boba is that I ALWAYS get matcha milk tea and I ALWAYS underestimate how much I want. Note to self, get the biggest size if you can! I downed my medium and so so so bummed I didn't go for the bigger size. It was delicious. Of course I got regular boba inside, too, which was delightful. One of my favorite parts about this place is that they have a full kitchen, too, with a full on chef! Wowwww! They had so many selections for food but I decided on the pork bao buns. They were three small ones but they were SOOO filling with the boba tea. Seriously, they were so tasty! I would definitely come back and get it again and I can't wait to come back and try the breakfast, too. I also want to come back and sit and work. It's such a nice atmosphere to come work at. Again, super cute and inviting. They also have afternoon tea which sounds like so much fun to do in the afternoon with friends. And I have to end this review giving a shout out to the staff. Water Street has certainly come up in the years since I've worked in the area. We're talking since 1997, to be exact. There was only a handful of eateries here, but now they're popping up left and right (literally), especially since the Lifeguard Arena was built. No. 1 Boba Tea Social made its debut here just a few weeks ago and it's definitely a welcome addition. I used to frequent the locations in Chinatown and Eastern Ave. years ago so having one that I can walk to on breaks is a real treat. And, not only do they serve their awesome drinks, but there is a food menu! As Shirley B. mentioned in her excellent review, there are bona fide chefs here creating the food. Corporate Chef Josh Grimes brings his experience from working with Roy's Hawaiian Fusion and as chef for Bacchanal Buffet and Pronto by Giada at Caesar's, among others. Sous Chef Shawn is a graduate of the Chinese Culinary Institute and has worked for Hakkasan at MGM and JING Las Vegas. What will you find here? First of all, this is a very spacious restaurant with lots of seating and outlets for your electronics if you choose to hang out and work. The drink menu is extensive: coffee menu, milk teas, power juices, flavored teas, slushes. They have afternoon tea Friday-Sunday complete with scones, sandwiches, and desserts--I can't wait to try this. I've had the Brown Sugar Milk made with oat milk and boba--loved that I can have this particular drink with oat milk instead of whole milk! If you want to adjust the sweetness, just ask. This morning I had a blended cappuccino made with oat milk and that was terrific, as well. The food menu has breakfast sandwiches, sweet and savory crepes, pork belly bao buns, banh mi sliders, pot stickers, spam musubi, and pineapple fried rice. I've had the pork belly bao buns and I loved them. I want to try the ramen soon. The space is quite inviting and the staff is terrific. I was disappointed with my first visit. I'm a big fan of businesses on Water Street. I really wanted to like No 1 Boba. The first issue was that they were out of Boba, yes Boba!? I changed up my order and carried on with ordering. The person behind counter added to my disappointment. They were not friendly, not even a little. This location just opened and offers lots of tea, food, desserts and even a proper Afternoon Tea Service! We met Amy who owns this location- she was friendly and knows her stuff! My fav is a Hot Taro Tea with boba and hers did not disappoint. It was creamy and not overly sweet. It was a perfect pick me up on this beautiful afternoon. This location is spacious, modern and located in the Water Street section of Henderson. It even has special lightning that does a little extra to keep things safer and cleaner for everyone! It had been a long time since I had boba of any kind. I have fond memories of driving out to Chinatown with friends and picking some up. Needless to say, I was pretty excited to get the opportunity to try No. 1 Boba Tea. I work right up the street, so the location is great for me Monday - Thursday. No. 1 Boba Tea continues the trend of redeveloping the downtown Henderson area. The restaurant is immediately warm and inviting. There are several tables near the entrance and a bigger room with even more seating and a TV. The menu offers many different choices. I spent a good 5 minutes just trying to decided what I wanted to order. I eventually decided on the Dragon Banana Slushie with boba of course. They present the drinks in a cup with a film on top that can be pierced with a straw. After seeing my wife have a bit of an accident with this, I decided just to lift the film and put the straw in.
