This past weekend though, after a long hike, I wanted something healthy and packed with protein. So I decided to go down and check it out. The inside was absolutely gorgeous and very welcoming and nothing like what I was expecting. The tables and booths are very comfortable and there's a big Scrabble board on the wall and even a chandelier. I ended up going with the protein power smoothie which had 20 g of protein in it before any additions were made. I did not do any additions though. I got my smoothie, which was more expensive than I would have liked it to be and I headed home. The smoothie, though not bad, barely had any flavor to it, like it had too much ice added to it. I actually added chocolate protein powder to it when I got home and that very much enhanced the flavor. It's a real shame and due to that, I don't think I will be headed back here.

The parking lot was busy but there were a few empty spaces here and there and I found one a few steps away. Taking a minute going through their choices again because, again, a lot to choose from, I finally settled on the #17, called The Threesome. Hence the name of this product, there were three main flavors inside; orange, grape, and strawberry. I was expecting the drink to come in a cup with ice or something like that, I don't know why, but it was given to me in a glass bottle in a snap. The service was incredibly quick that I didn't get the chance to take pictures of the inside. Then again, it wasn't busy at all. There was only one person inside with me and another person entered as soon as I was walking out the door. My opinion on this drink; it was a little on the sugary side (I try to avoid sugar in drinks most of the time) but at the same time it had a lot of vitamin C on it...more than 100% actually, according to the label on the back. It was fresh, fruity, chilled, and would be good for a full week after I bought it, but I ended up finishing it later that night. It also said that it would give you an energy boost and also supports cardiovascular health and digestion following its' consumption. Now, after almost every workout (which we rarely miss anymore), we leave with at least one smoothie -- sometimes two -- and we've even eaten at the juice bar a couple of times as well. Every smoothie I've tried so far has been absolutely delicious. They're always made perfectly and consistently every single time. They are a little pricey, but honestly worth it. We've tried recreating them at home and it's just not the same. The food is also really good -- very clean, fresh, flavorful, and cooked well. Our personal favorite is the tuna salad sandwich, but we usually have them turn it into a wrap. The customer service has been great too. Everyone is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The juice bar itself is very clean, and the long hours make it super convenient when you're trying to stick to healthier eating habits. I returned to this location earlier this week for another bowl settling on the açaí primo and it was delicious. I added peanut butter for an additional touch of flavor & protein and I was more than satisfied. The service was good as always and the store itself was pretty chill so no complaints.
