Love me some tropical smoothie and I never typically have issues at this location. But something clearly happened before I showed up to pick up my order. The older lady working noticeably apologized to a customer. She's working with a younger kid. I won't make assumptions about what exactly happened but her frantic behavior and yelling at the kid is ridiculous. This is a business and if she has a problem with someone or something she should step away and avoid making a scene in front of the entire store. 6 people publicly watching him get humiliated and I only caught the end. Came in today and by far the worst service I've ever had. There was one girl in black in the back working and never acknowledged me at all. There were also some girls in purple shirts and the girl in black never told them someone was up front waiting... A good 5 minutes passed before someone came to the counter. Once at the counter, she was awesome. It's not her fault as she was in the back getting some things fixed for the food. Ms. Tracy is the manager here and boy, does she run a tight ship! She's so caring and kind and Julian and Ryan are always there when we pick up our online order. When they are not there, we really miss their smiles! These two young men are not only polite, and positive, but they pay attention to details! This issue has been going on for several years. The price continues to go up and up and up, but their help has decreased. You can go in at the busiest time of day and only have one person working the register and making food. Even when you call in and order, it it's not ready for 20 to 30 minutes after the promise time. This place seriously needs to have more workers. There is nothing fair about having one person run the whole show. I sure hope they are making bank because the pressure that has to be on that one worker has to be treacherous. We always give this place the benefit of the doubt but every single time we have the same issue. I would say try another location, but I see the same thing happening with multiple tropical smoothies. Last night, My boyfriend and I called ahead and ordered a few things from the Tropical Smoothie at 76 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy ste #120 in Henderson, NV 89015. Upon pickup, the young male cashier acted clueless when my boyfriend told him his name for the order and what we ordered. My boyfriend nicely reiterated what he was there for and then the cashier looked around and said, "we didn't make it yet". Confused, my boyfriend replied, "You haven't made it yet?" Cashier replied.. "Oh.. we made it, but you have to pay first." *duh* Admittedly annoyed, my boyfriend said, "Yeah, that's how a transaction works. But, why did you say you didnt make it yet?" The Cashier ignored the question and said "You have to pay first." Mind you, he wasn't even at the cash register saying this... Boyfriend: "Yes, I'm aware.. waiting on you." (As he visibly has his CC in hand). Cashier then starts to talk to himself as he's ringing us up. We pay and the Smoothie we ordered isn't there. Boyfriend: "where is the smoothie?" Cashier: "Smoothie? Uhh..." walks towards the back to the girl we ordered on the phone with. He comes back to the register says nothing. Girl employee lazily walked to us with an attitude on her face and slowly hands the Smoothie to my boyfriend, doesn't say anything and walks away with a miserable look. ‍ We get home to the "Chicken cheese 'Dilla", having NO chicken and barely ANY cheese. Mainly just tortillas. The Smoothie was poorly made, mostly slush. The Chicken Pesto was slapped together and chewy. The Acai Bowl was the only good thing. We called and I talked to the girl who gave us the Smoothie which was also who we ordered from. I expressed my frustration, she didn't know how to handle the situation. No apologies, even tried to correct me with an attitude. This morning, I called so I could speak to a manager. The same girl employee answered, I asked if I could speak to a manager. She said nothing and hung up on me. I never leave negative reviews and I take no pleasure in doing so. It's a waste of my time but, this really was a poor experience. It's clear the two employees aren't managed well and possibly not trained well either. I'd expect better service as I have been a customer of this company for over ten years. Older manger lady is always so short and snappy with her staff. Saturday she got snappy with my daughter who attempted to pick up her online order demanding that an adult come in and pick up her order rather then verifying my daughters order on her phone. Clearly the manager was having a bad day because she was very rude to me the adult who did NOT make the purchase lecturing me about some rules she claimed existed. Not to mention my kids & I make purchases very often from tropical smoothie. My kids even stop here on their way home from school on their own and never have an issue until Saturday. I normally don't go to this one but I was near by, the place was filthy and the other girl at the counter didn't even acknowledge us when we were waiting to order. Bad experience, I ended up going to the tropical smoothie on green valley pkwy where I normally go and the young lady there was very attentive and took care of us immediately, and was fast as well. No where on app did it say I had to buy something to get my free reward. I don't recommend this place and it was sad that the lady had to resort to lying to not honor the reward. I'm letting all my friends and family to not come here again. I can't remember the names of the persons in this location, but it was an older lady and a teenage girl working that night. I never felt the need to write a review for other Trop Smoothie locations, but this one deserves a special shout out. Came in on 03/19/23 around 5pm. Not only was the guy manning the register very friendly, but he was also knowledgeable about the menu. A lot of employees at chain restaurants could not be bothered these days, so a kind and friendly face behind the counter really stands out. Food came out promptly and was delicious too. read more

Don't come to this location if you want your order with any kind of quickness. I walked in and there was a guy in front of me waiting to order because the cashier was still counting their drawer on the floor. Definitely a good way to get robbed so they should consider changing this method. Then once we ordered 5 minutes later, it took a total of 20 minutes for me to get my two smoothies I ordered because the employees were moving at a snail's speed for no apparent reason. Mind you, 5 other people had walked in between the time I ordered and received my order.
