As my cousin and i were looking for a spot to get our nails done we stumbled upon this nail spot which their pictures didn't look too bad. So we decided to give this place a shot when i went in i had asked for medium length and showed him the reference picture and he proceeded to do my nails while he was filing my nails he was being so rough i even said ow and he was like oh i hurt you and i said yeah you did and he kept going even harder so i just let him and when he went to trim my cuticles he cut me on both my hands not to mention my nails were so short and he had already cut them and he showed me the length to cut and i said it was good but he cut them way shorter than i wanted he finished up and they were nothing of what i asked for. Not even two days later they chipped and the paint underneath was still wet and they were lifting not even a week in. I gave them a try but overall 2/10 experience read more

I came to do my gel manicure with Diane, and I loved the work she did on my nails, she's patient when you pick your color, doesn't rush you at all, and the massage at the end on your hands, omg! Diane got the right hands for a hand massage! Very relaxing.Also Sony is great at doing nails! Very detail and takes his a time at doing your nails. Diane and Sony are great. Went for a full set and pedicure couple of weeks ago. Pedicure was amazing so relaxing but the lady who did my acrylics did a horrible job. Walked out of there with 2 cricket nails. Anyhow she didn't do that good of a job on my cuticles. Weeks later I go in to a different shop only to realize that I had 4 nails that developed fungus on them because of the horrible service I received at no 1 nails. Then on top of that every single nail was lifting. Not secured at all. Which was allowing water to get in between which leads to fungus. This was my worst experiecer at a nail shop that I ever went through. read more

I'm glad to see some people have had positive experiences here. I normally go to Designer Nail in West Palmdale, (they are awesome by the way.) However, because #1 Nail and Spa is across from my gym, I sometimes drop in, because I believe in giving people a fair chance. But every time I go there, their customer service is horrible. The husband and wife are both rude and very rough when handling my fingers, I hate leaving with cuts. The last time I was there, they left my nails with polish all over my fingers and got an attitude when I asked them to clean up. I even sent my daughter there and she refuses to go back. Bottomline, they are rude and their work is average so I'm not inclined to ever go back. read more

Poor service! I set up an appointment and it wasn't honored. I walk in and a male employee ask "can I help you", I said yes, I have an appointment at 3. The male employee went right back to his customer and disregarded what I said. 20-30 mins in a female employee as " can I help you", I said yes, I have an appointment at 3, she says " O (states my name) ok" then begins speaking in her native language. Ten mins later they put me in a chair. I sat in the pedicure chair for 30 more mins and when I finally got served the female employee with the long hair rushed excessively. She kept pulling my foot even though I told her I had an injury. She did sloppy work and was going to leave it until I told her to fix it. I wasn't even offered a type of pedicure, she just assumed I wanted the rush and crappy one because more customers were coming in. My toe hurts because she kept pulling skin and I bled. My manicure wasn't much better. Same rush process and my gel sits over my cuticles and it's already chipped off. I noticed they take time on regular customers but on new customers they treat like garbage. Absolutely worst service. Wish I didn't pay! Do not go here. read more

He tried fixing them but I was still not satisfied till I finally talk to the owner and some lady name Dianne (I'm not sure if that's how you spell her name) tried fixing them and they end up looking a little better but still not satisfied so I just end up telling her if she can just do them from scratch again and she did...she did a way better job than that guy. Visited this nail salon this past Friday for a pedicure. The salons I usually go to were very crowded and I didn't have an appointment so I tried out this spot. I was seated very quick, 5 minutes. But the chair they asked me to sit in did not have the water on nor did it have the clear bag that goes over the tub. So I was confused why they seated me if it was not ready? Also, there was no remote for the massage chair. They did not even bother to turn it on or ask me if I wanted it on. I'm assuming it didn't even work. Everything here looks very outdated and not very clean. The lady definitely rushed through my pedicure. She did an ok job but honestly Felt more like a polish than an actual pedicure . My feet only soaked for about 3 min. It's super expensive. Pedicures start at $30 with no callus removal. I gave one star because overall my toes look okay but this was definitely not a pedicure. The first and last time I go here. Also, one customer was upset because she was left unattended halfway through her pedicure. Another was upset because they were charging her ridiculously expensive!! $47 for a pedicure?! Don't go here. read more

I use to come here all the time when Wendy was here but now they're under new management.The guy that did my nails only painted the middle part of my nails and wouldn't even bother to go back and paint the sides he would just act as he didn't see that he missed a spot.
