While we were in town, our group was looking forward to attending the Oktoberfest across the street but it was so packed that we decided on something less crowded. We saw this place across the street and decided to check it out. We had a somewhat big group but thankfully there were tables outside that could accommodate our group, plus it was hot in the pizzeria. The owner of the place was funny and we kept making him laugh. He gave great service and the food he made for us was AMAZING! We ended up ordering a few pizzas, garlic bread, chicken wings, and salads. We even got a gluten free pizza for one of our friends in our group. We had a pepperoni pizza and it was amazing. The cheese and mat had a great taste and was very fresh. We ordered fries and onion rings, in which serving size was huge so we shared with our friends. Such a great place and I wish more people knew about it. The service and food is phenomenal. read more

I went to big bear for a family vacation and we went here. But we ordered from the phone first before going. And the guy on the phone was SO FRIENDLY. He was energetic, polite, etc. and the food... Love this neighborhood pizza place. The owners are super friendly and I love being able to cook the pizza in the comfort of my own home. I get a "vegan" one- all the veggies but no cheese (adding vegan cheese before baking at home). SO got the No Name Everything and we added a tad more cheese at home (there was plenty on it to begin with but he LOVES cheese). We chilled in the back outside seating area, had a beer, and waited for our pizza top be prepped. They even let us take our dog back with us since they weren't busy. Will return. We got the "Everything " pizza and were able to swap out two ingredients. There was a good crust/sauce ratio. No soggy bottom! There is an area outside to sit and enjoy your pizza and live music (when it is happening). The owner was very friendly. This is not "Little Cesar's" so you won't get your pizza in 5min. It took about 30-45 min. Which worked out great... we went to the store to pick up a couple things, and picked up on the way home. You can have them cook it for you, or take it home and cook it yourself. Cool option, but we only have a tiny oven. read more

The pizza here is AMAZING. Seriously the best pizza I've had in a long time (even better than Maggio's). The crust tastes homemade and is absolutely delicious. We got our old standby of pepperoni and black olives, and it had a perfect balance of flavors and crust/cheese/topping ratio. I also love that this shop is local family-owned. One of the owners was there when we stopped by and she gave us great service. We have attempted to try this place a couple times because we heard it was good. The long wait times have always been an issue but also made us think the pizza was probably really good. Tonight we ordered 2 small pizzas and it was stilla 45 min wait, but we weren't starving yet. The 2 small pizzas came out to $30. I know things are expensive but these pizzas we personal size (10"). It would have been well worth it if the pizza tasted better. I felt that it was a bit bland. I doubt we will be going back. I really wanted to like it but the time and cost make it hard to justify trying again. read more

This review is a tad bit overdue. As homeowners in Big Bear Lake, we have taken home "take & bake" pizza innumerable times from No Name Pizza. We love it! There are lots of food options in Big Bear and dare I say we've tried them all, but we keep returning because this is a great option. We order, pick up, then later in the evening I throw her in the oven and she comes out piping hot whenever we're ready! This past Monday while enjoying a motorcycle ride around the lake we popped in to see Steve and Michelle and order our favorite pie for pick up later, when Steve tells us there'll be live music later if we'd like to stay for a listen and enjoy a beer! Yes Please! We pulled in about 5:00 and a lovely gentleman by the name of Brad was out back killing it with his slick guitar and beautiful voice! He was a delightful entertainer with enriching back stories and first person details of many musical artists and bands. This guy's been around. He was engaging with his audience and super fun to listen to. We enjoyed a glass of delicious Kendall Jackson Cabernet Sauvignon while enjoying the show, then headed home for a movie and our custom pie. What a perfect evening! This place was great! Good quality ingredients, friendly staff, timely service, and overall great quality. The price for the pizzas is a little on the high end, but the quality is worth it. I'd rather spend a little more supporting a small business with great quality than buy cheap pizza anywhere else. We visit Big Bear every year, and we will definitely get pizza from here again. I have read the other reviews. Keep in mind this is a small business located in a mountain resort community. It's usually a two person operation and they are doing the best they can. What you might perceive as rudeness or being scarfed at, might just be they are completely overwhelmed. Especially since Covid. The amount of people up here is a next level amount of busy. There are only two pizza joints up here. Everyone is expecting chain store service out of small businesses with limited resources. When coming up to big Bear people should practice "The 2 P's" Patience and Politeness. So here are a few tips: 1. Call in your order. 2. Order early if you want your order ready by six call it in by three. 3. Get the take and bake pizza instead of them cooking it. This reduces weight time and frankly, it tastes way better if you cook it in the oven at your cabin. So do this if you possibly can. 4. They might not have what you want as they may have run out of it. Again the overwhelming amount of people appear taps resources very quickly. So they may not have any chicken wings or they may limit you to just a couple of orders. 5. Since Covid, people seem to be less understanding and quite rude. So be nice. Leave the Karen and Phil attitude down the mountain. 6. They may be closed on a day they are supposed to be open because they have to go down the mountain and get more supplies. I found this out the hard way. It is what it is with a small business. Try to be more understanding. No, I don't work there and I'm not compensated for this review. The inside has a trendy hipster type feel with a music flair. The chairs & tables are frankly uncomfortable. It looks like they may have live music sometimes which is cool. My cream soda was good & very cold. I got the grinder sandwich which was very good. I've had their pizza but not in many years I do know it's prepared to be baked at home. Every time we go there or call to pick up we always get told there's a 2 hour wait, and there's nobody in the dining room. They need to get more help!!!! I don't understand how they make any money they're always turning business away... Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. read more

We come up to big bear frequently and when we want to have pizza, we almost always come to No Name Pizza because it so good. We always love the Warren special and love the flavor and crispiness of their pizza. The staff have always been friendly and nice, but they usually are very busy with orders, so if you're in a hurry I recommend that you call in advance to order for either a pick up or take and bake. We've eaten there as well and it has always been a quiet and pleasant place to eat. If you want good pizza, it's worth the wait and is better than most other pizza places up in big bear! read more
