Everything was soo good! It's a cute little food truck with a few tables in the back. The owners were so nice, they even gave our little one a cheese quesadilla to eat while we were waiting for our food. She loved it! We thought the tacos and burrito were great. Burrito was definitely our favorite. We'll be back!

Excellent Al Pastor tacos. I only wished that they would add a slice of pineapple on the tacos. I was a bit disappointed with their steak tacos. It looks as if they use some type of cut of beef roast and not arrachera . Their salsas are very tasty and complements the tacos excellently. Their horchata is very refreshing. The young lady who took my order was very sweet and friendly. She even asked if I needed help carrying my order to my car since it was a big order. I will definitely go back and enjoy some more of their al pastor tacos.

Simple food done well.

I knew the moment I pulled up for my take out order that I was in deep trouble. On a cold February night, a small grill, open bag of lump charcoal, and small walk up window set expectations. It is officially time for a reset of what great tacos mean in a city looking not just to uphold but to celebrate and defend its multicultural heritage. Good luck to the other taqueros trying to match the perfection that's taken hold of a humble corner in Mayfair. No Pasa Nada is the standard bearer, at least here on the Northside. #TrompoOrBust

Amazing service and food to go along with it. It's a stand next to a mechanic shop. I've tried their steak and their Al Pastor tacos on a separate occasion. This time I went for the Al Pastor burrito, it was delicious and filling. It wasn't huge but I didn't eat anything the rest of the day, I haven't came across too many good Mexican food spot in the north-side, with a very few exceptions. No Pasa Nada is definitely going on that list. Absolutely love the name and the owner/cook is incredibly personable. Highly recommend them if you're in the area.

So My Niece found this place And it didn't disappoint the tacos was Very very good and flavorful the sauces wasn't too spicy they was on point as well the cook and young lady was very nice and friendly nice patio in the back to eat and also check out how the food is cooked was great will definitely go back

Al pastor to the left, two steak tacos to the right! Both on charcoal, new spot, tacos were outstanding!

Excellent food, all on charcoal, pastor on a charcoal spit! This place is a gem! The steak was outstanding. New place check them out, the owner works at a top tier Chicago restaurant. Some of the best I've had!

They truly go above and beyond to make sure they deliver great customer service. They'll do little things like offer you a free taco of their Birria while you wait for your food. Go to any market in Mexico and they'll treat you the exact same. Unfortunately for them their original Southside location is closed due to a fire but they'll be back hopefully soon! My son and daughter both ordered their Birria Tacos, my wife ordered their Quesabirria tacos and I ordered their Tazon Chico of their carnaza Birria of course. It also came with a side of their handmade tortillas. Everything tasted so fresh and the Birria was very delicious. So much flavor in the consome. Ordering the tazon is definitely they way to go here because you get the meat in the consome. But if you wanted meat only, you have the option of ordering their plato instead. Regardless of what you order here, you won't go wrong. Enjoy!

Really awesome space at a crowded downtown location. Foods were served on nice metal holders or disposable/environmentally friendly containers and utensils. The tacos were huge, and I love that they focus on the variety of vegetables on the taco, which is often overlooked at other places. Veggies also make the taco look beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the tikka paneer, the paneer was soft for paneer but firmer than tofu, a really great texture. And the flavor wasn't overpowering. The tikka sauce was light, which I am totally fine with. The chicken quesadilla was also made well and of good value, the kids all really liked it. The salmon was good too but didn't really stand out as much, but appreciate the variety veggies on top! The mexi-Cali shrimp bowl was not bad either, but also didn't stand out much. The shrimp was good but I prefer it cooked even lighter if possible. Flavor was good tho. The rice was long grain, which I prefer, but they do give quite a lot, I ended up having quite a lot leftover. I wish the had a bit more cilantro or other herby mix to increase the depth of flavor, but overall still pretty good. Queso was also really good, thick and creamy, not too salty, but sadly the kids didn't like it as much. Husband also liked the gochujang pork a lot, said it was actually really really good. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we had there. Love that they also had paper towels everywhere. My preferred method of keeping clean haha. Will definitely come back.

In a way it felt like a makeshift restaurant with an urban warehouse vibe, big colorful signage on the walls, folding chairs and card tables make up the interior. It was very busy, almost every seat taken and the staff was running around taking orders with a smile delivering food and seemed to be having fun too. This is the kind of ENERGY I love!! There is a separate bar for drinks. The juices are freshly made in house, the horchata was highly recommended and apparently always sells out. I might have gotten the last glass of the night, the guy who ordered right after me couldn't get it. My quesoburrias and chicken quesadilla were very filling, and honestly I didn't need to order three, I left overstuffed haha... the waiter says I should try the shrimp tacos and cod next time. (Yelp tip:) He also told me that on Tuesdays from open til close it's BOGO on all tacos but there's always a line. Oh I'm definitely going to be back for this! Might be one of my most enjoyable meals in the city in 2026 so far!

I've tried different proteins for the tacos: STEAK, LENGUA (tongue), TRIPA (tripe), PASTOR (pork), and BISTECK. They are all delicious, tender, juicy, well-prepared and well-seasoned. The lime, cilantro, and onions on each taco are fresh and give so much flavors. The rice and beans that come with the entrees are so good as well. Service is always friendly and efficient. The place is neat, the bathroom is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I will never get tired of coming here to eat. I heard that their margaritas are worth trying too. You've been up since 6 am sweating and lifting heavy boxes. You just paid your movers an excessive amount of money and got yelled at by a neighbor for blocking the alleyway. It's 1 pm and you're HUNGRY and want a DRINK. This was our experience walking into Taqueria Primo Chukis. We ordered some very well-priced margaritas, my husband got tacos and I got a chicken burrito. YUMMMM. Great portions (my burrito was huge), simple yet flavorful recipes, and great service. The house salsas were great as well and actually quite spicy. After inhaling our food in record time and declaring this our favorite restaurant of our new neighborhood, only one question remained - was it actually that good, or were we just starving from our move? Don't worry, we put that to the test! We came back with a group on a perfectly normal day and had a spread of enchiladas, tacos, burritos, and flan. Somehow, I think it was even better the second time!! My husband now suggests this spot for any and every meal. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for simple yet delicious mexican food.
