Seriously the best carne asada and pastor tacos I've ever had in all of the US. The meats are flavorful, juicy, tender but has crispy bits and edges. These are just unmatched! Unfortunately this taco stand is so far away from my home, nonetheless well worth the trip. Servie is very kind. Tables were promptly cleaned before we sat down. All outdoor seating. Only annoying thing about eating outside are bugs and exposure to weather like this crazy 100 degree weather we're experiencing this year. I'll be back here during my weekly Costco trips! read more

After seeing this spot in person and then all over social media, I was really excited to finally give it a try. Even though the line was long, it moved quickly, and the wait was about what I'd expect. The staff was friendly, polite, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I ordered one al pastor taco and two carne asada tacos. All three salsas were excellent, and the al pastor fresh off the charcoal spit was absolutely incredible--easily the highlight of the meal. My only complaint was the carne asada. The flavor was good, but the meat itself was pretty tough with quite a few chewy, fatty pieces. The seasoning couldn't quite make up for the quality of the cut. I'll definitely be back for the al pastor, and if they improve the carne asada, I honestly think this place could become one of the best taco spots in the area. read more

When the internet tells me a new spot for the best tacos opened up in Chicago, I'm absolutely there the next taco Tuesday :) they have limited seats right behind the truck set up. The cooking set up is right in front of you so it gives off cozy, warm feeling of being at a family event. I got two steak tacos. They were juicy and flavorful but a bit too salty for my liking. The horchata also could have been sweeter. I wouldn't call it the best taco place in Chicago but it was still good. Lots of free parking in the area! read more

Beverage menu is small , your basic fanta jarritos and Horchata, zero Jamaica or Tamarindo Try out if you are in the north side just plan on waiting in line for a very long time!!! If not head over to L Patron tacos on Fullerton a little west where you can sit down outside and dine in plus they serve alcohol beverages over happy hour with air conditioning and music I've tried both places in my opinion L Patron takes all 5 stars!!! Came here around 7 on St Patrick's Day and the owners were incredible friendly from the moment we walked up! They offered us some grape juice and even a green taco for the holiday The tacos themself were delicious (San Diego approved); we scarfed it down in the car so quickly. Excellent Al Pastor tacos. I only wished that they would add a slice of pineapple on the tacos. I was a bit disappointed with their steak tacos. It looks as if they use some type of cut of beef roast and not arrachera . Their salsas are very tasty and complements the tacos excellently. Their horchata is very refreshing. The young lady who took my order was very sweet and friendly. She even asked if I needed help carrying my order to my car since it was a big order. Amazing service and food to go along with it. It's a stand next to a mechanic shop. I've tried their steak and their Al Pastor tacos on a separate occasion. This time I went for the Al Pastor burrito, it was delicious and filling. It wasn't huge but I didn't eat anything the rest of the day, I haven't came across too many good Mexican food spot in the north-side, with a very few exceptions. No Pasa Nada is definitely going on that list. Absolutely love the name and the owner/cook is incredibly personable. Highly recommend them if you're in the area. read more

I really liked this place! The meats are char grilled so each taco has all those crispy meat bits you'd want with a lot of smoky flavor. The tacos are a little pricier but they're larger than an average street taco and worth it! One thing though, be sure to check if they're open or not! read more
