Always a great place for beer, especially in Albany! The service is pleasant every time, they (before COVID times) offer free popcorn and pretzel sticks and the tap selection is on-point. This is always a go-to for beer and to hangout with groups of people. They also let you get food delivered/bring in meals for yourself too. Check this place out!

Always 50 different beers on tap. How can you go wrong.

Great place to venture out and try new beers for your palette. They always have 50 on tap and just in case those don't tickle your fancy they have a side with bottled and can beers of just about everything else. How can you go wrong. Tvs all around. Popcorn. Pretzels. Sofas. Beautiful establishment.

Lots of beer, wine, and cider to try, and a nice quiet atmosphere. The staff are very friendly.

Everything about this place is cool, hospitable, warm and inviting. My oldest kid had a chili dog, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the shepherd's pie and a kids charcuterie board. Both were chef's kiss. The Squeaky Cork houses a full bar, and the spirit selection was quite impressive (particularly the Scotch). The wait staff and bartender were so pleasant and accommodating. No pretension, just good vibes. We appreciated the coloring books and crayons for our little ones as did the more grown-up fare on the kids menu. As a finale to a fun dining experience, the check was brought to us in a Scottish vintage hardcover book, pretty sweet! This eatery was definitely a highlight of our travels. It embodies a community pub vibe, that's for sure.

This has to be one of the coolest places in Albany! Decorated perfectly and cozy enough to feel like everyone is your neighbor! We only had apps (charcuterie) and drinks (he had a stout, i had a whiskey sour - have it made with shanky's whip and thank me later!!). The board had such a variety on it, we weren't sure where to start! and the drinks..... well, they are the well paved road to alcoholism!! I cannot wait to go back here and try the other food! Hopefully the same guy is there to greet us, because he was the friendliest little man this side of the wilamette!!

I asked if they needed my name and was told by the hostess "no." I thought it was a little weird, but went with it. My coworker arrived first and he said reservations for 5. They asked him for a name! Haha, he said they looked at him like he was crazy. So that was weird. Otherwise, once we all arrived, the service was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance - it was open and had a mix of high top tables, low top, and bar seating. When it's busy, it's quite noisy. Not a place you can really carry a long conversation. I did notice there was a loft area that looks like a private party/gathering could be held. Once everyone left after the lunch rush, it was much quieter. Food - Yum! We started with the lemon pepper wings, which were recommended by our wait staff. The worst thing with wings are when they are dry and jerky like. This was not the case at Loafers. The wings were piping hot when they came out. Too hot to eat immediately. Once you got into the meat of the wings, it was moist. The lemon pepper flavor was great. Citrusy and peppery, not too salty. The wings came with baby carrots and celery sticks. I got the Buddha bowl which includes Rice, carrots, purple cabbage, avocado, sesame seeds, micro cilantro, mung bean sprouts, watermelon radish & peanut sauce and added seared ahi. I requested no rice and the waitress said it would be nothing if I don't get the rice, so she suggested getting salad. The bowl was massive. I'm not sure I needed the salad. It was really filling and the tuna was delicious. I felt the peanut sauce was a bit salty so I barely used it. Tuna has a pepper crust, so it was also flavorful. Overall, happy with our experience there for our team lunch.

Love the food I try to order something different every time and it never disappoints. My wife just…read morecomes for the gambling machine.

ALL YOU CAN EAT, Riblets, fried shrimp or boneless wings along with endless fries, all for just $15.99! I remember a long time ago Applebee's offering this all you can eat riblets deal and I remember it wasn't that good, mostly because the service was so bad at limiting the ribs you got by making the refilling process so slow. I'm hoping with the improvements made in the last year, this all you can eat experience might be better. I'm with my crew traveling up the 5 towards Portland and I see there's an Applebee's location coming up here in Albany. These guys are ready for some all you can eat ribs (lets). We get seated fine and drinks orders taken. The inside looks pretty much like a lot of Applebee's. We all get the $15.99 riblets deal. It takes awhile for the first round to arrive. Each person gets 4 smallish slabs of riblets. I dunno which part of the pig these come off of, but I'd say they basically are the trimmings off the ribs to make the more popular cuts, like the St. Louis cuts. The bones are pretty small so watch out biting in. We all polish off that first order and we order refills. The second order takes some time again and is just 2 little pieces of riblets. Geeze at this rate, it's gonna take a long time to get filled up! I guess they hope you get filled up on the fries! Rating the riblets, I'd say skip them, they're not that good to wanna come back and go through the frustration of the slow ordering and you know, these ribs had a weird chemical taste, I think it's the artifical smoke flavoring they use. This whole "lunch" took almost 2 hours to get our fill. We all agreed skip this new deal, and stick with the $9.99 Bacon Cheeseburger deal!

The people here are the best! The food comes quick and hot and is delicious. I split the…read moreO-M-Cheeseburger with my mom and my dad had the fiesta lime chicken from the 2 for $25 menu.
