I haven't had any issues with the tint jobs ( yet ), and the other cars have had it on for a few years now. Xpel is the newer one, but hoping it'll hold up just the same. For our older car, we chose the 3M Ceramic, and it has made driving in it a huge improvement. We no longer feel the sun sensitivity we normally experience while driving (rashes even with sunscreen), which is such a game-changer. For our new car, we chose the 3M Crystalline, and it is incredible. I can't say for sure that this is what saved our windshield from webbing when a giant rock caught us by surprise, but it sure seemed like it. Jason was even kind enough to help facilitate a repair for us through a third-party their shop trusts, instead of going for a complete window replacement and having to re-tint our front.
