Initially, I had scheduled an appointment with Kevin and I had to reschedule about 4 times because of my busy schedule. He was very patient and friendly throughout the whole process. I bought a brand new Tesla about 7 months ago and Optimo came with me to pick up my car in Costa Mesa. Q invistigated every inch of the car for flaws and very surpricing to me, he has found quite a few. He really took his time and thank to him we had Tesla smothen out the flaws we found. Optimo then gave the car a permanent coating and I've waited until now to leave a review to be able to really say if the investment I made was worth it. YES... I would do it again. after 7 months, my car still looks brand new and all these things that sticks on to your car gets off easily by just using a pressure washer. Wow this guy is the biggest douche! I spilt paint in my car and he demands to know what year and model and where I live?! Like what does that have to do with getting my car cleaned? Then he proceeds to ask if it's leased or owned and tells me they're gonna rip me off when I go to return my leased car. He said I'll find out in the morning how much damage it did and that he doesn't want to cancel his big plans for the night. Then he said he would call me back and never did! He judged me for having a new Tesla and living in Beverly Hills. I called back 20 minutes later and he said he was going to raise the price from $400 to $500 for no reason other than he felt like it. Q applied the opti-coat about 3 months ago and it still feels and looks like a newly waxed vehicle. I already called him out to do another car. I just got back from a long trip and the car had many smashed bugs. A $2 coin wash with a pressure hose was enough to get the bugs out. First and foremost "Q" did is professional, trustworthy, and did an amazing job. I asked Q to apply gtechnique and exov2 coatings to my car. I had these coatings allied to my brand new black 2016 Acura RDX and 2008 BMW M3. Q stated that since the rdx was new no paint restoration would be needed, but the m3 (since it was 7 years old would need some restoration - no matter how garage queen I stated it was). Q offered a loaner car while he worked on a car, how awesome is that?! Think about if you needed to go rent a car and the hassle around that, q simply pulls up in a Lexus CT and swaps cars with you, a Lexus! Q took his time to apply the coating appropriately. He texted me that the weather was too cloudy for him to properly apply the coating to black car since it was the most difficult color to work with. Stop right here, time is money for everyone but Q takes quality and pride in work to another level. Both cars turned out great and repel water as expected. Now I waited about 4 month to write this review on purpose, I wanted time to give my opinion for anyone who is considering this coating. The applicator, Q, did a perfect job, I've seen horrendous applicators online but Qs work was flawless. But I think the question people ponder is what can I expect from the coating. We all have different expectations. I want to summarize my findings over 4 months. 1. The coating does not mean you do not need to wash your car. 2. The coating does make it easier to clean/shine your car. How? It seems like the dirt is sitting on a glossy film just waiting to be wiped away. Once the dirt/dust is brushed aside you have your clean/waxed looking car. 3. The coating does not repel dirt or dust. But it does have it sit "elevated" on a glossy surface for you to wipe away. 4. Ideal cleaning is with a pressure washer. 5. The coating is not a gloss enhancer. Your car won't look "wetter". It will look like its been waxed and that doesn't go away. 6. Think of the coating as a permanent wax (but not really because it needs to be reapplied every two years). Is it worth it? My wife loves it and it makes cleaning the car so much faster. But limit your expectations it not magic dust repellant. Hands down if you want the coating Q is the man to apply it. read more

My son goes to school in Eugene Oregon and his 2014 black Subaru had significant paint damage from tree sap. This review is 4 months post-magic coating on my 2011 M3. My current method for washing my car now is soapless pressure-wash. Dirt and most road debris slide right off the car effortlessly in most places. Directly behind the tires and front bumper, where bugs and stickier things tend to find themselves, need just a little more attention with a sponge. Having simplified my ride's aesthetic upkeep REALLY makes having the application worth it. Q can see that I am not naturally knowledgeable in these matters and did not try to pressure me into anything more than what I initially wanted. At 09:30 this morning I decided to have my friends car detailed before she got home from her trip tomorrow so I began calling around. Optimo was busy so scheduled for 4:00 in the afternoon. Jesus arrived early, used a steamer to kill germs and get dirt out of ceases. Also, a waterless system to wash and wax the car in my garage ( so neighbors in my community could not tell their was a vendor here on Sunday). He took his time washing, claying, polishing, and applying the opticoat. He even took his time to explain every process with rationales.
