After a long drive I looked forward to getting a bite to eat. Wife ordered a flat bread pizza dish. I ordered the Mountain burger. Our appetizer was poutin. The Canadians would be sorely disappointed in it. The pizza, my wife only ate one slice. ( terrible). My burger. It looked great. And that's where it ended. Dry meat. Bun was hard. Bacon was the only thing good (hard to screw up bacon). Fries super salty. I had to drown it in Ranch to stomach it. Food was way over priced. read more

Easter Brunch: We started out with Easter Services at to Old Mission at 7:00a.m Easter Brunch at Noah;s was advertised in the New Press and on the Web Site to start at 8:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. so we arrived at a little after 8:00am. There were 11 family members and four good friends. We were told three timesby the greeter that we were to have reservations.. I told her that we had not seen anything that said "Reservaations Only". They did find seating for us at four different booths. Said the rest were reserved. They were already out of ham, had to ask for ketchup, some of us didn't get drinks.and the second batch of potatoes were raw. The chef came out an said " No more reservations, they just wiped us out. This was suppose to go until 2:00 pm and they are out of food by 9:00. All the tabels around us still remained empy.The Ron Costa Family. read more

We visited Noah's on a Thursday night recently, it was like the restaurant had been turned over to a bunch of kids! We were told it would be a 30 min wait for food, ok not that big of a deal. What they should have said though is that we will seat you and ignore you for 45 min! I was my own cocktail waitress, thank goodness the bar tender was on his game! The food, once we were finally able to order was 'Ok' not anything fabulous. I think I will make alternative dinner plans next time we stay at Silver Mtn. read more

Was looking for a decent steak and potato after a long day on the road. Was not disappointed. The sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans was great. Had the huckleberry cheesecake for dessert. Service was fantastic, too. Restaurant was walking distance from the hotel. Two locals recommended this place. Well worth the money. read more

This place started out really good and then dropped down a local mine shaft. Most recent visit in late Dec. of 2014, some bartender named "Amanda" was extremely rude and barked at the bar back to make our drinks because they were too much work for her. Last name might as well be Bynes. Who tries to make a customer feel guilty about the drink they order because it's too difficult. Silver Valley has changed. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could, as we didn't even stay to eat. I don't usually write reviews, but I feel I needed to leave feedback for this place. First we waited several minutes to be acknowledged to get a table. Then after a fee minutes standing up at the front going over the menu, another hostess came to ask if we'd been helped. We informed her that we were told the other hostess was coming back in a few minutes. Shortly after surveying the restaurant, the second hostess sat us. We had to gather our party to the table but after being seated for ten minutes, we flagged someone down to send a server over for us, and having been told she'd check on it. At this point we all had looked over the menu adequately and were prepared to order out meals. We then flagged a passing server to ask if he was our server and he replied that he wasn't told so, but was going to check. After sitting for another 5 minutes the first girl came by to tell us that our server was coming. At this point we were debating on leaving and after a few more minutes, we all (6) stood up and slowly made our way for the exit, not having even one word said to us. Drinks were weak and bartender would not fix the problem, even though we sat waiting with no food for 45". Ordered a 15 dollar salad with seared ahi. It came with 4 small slices of fish and a mound of greens poured from a bag. None of the salad toppings mentioned on the menu were present. Felt sorry for the wait staff who had to listen to complaints with no manager present. Nobody would even comp us part of the bill. Totally lame. read more

This was our second trip to Noah's Canteen and we have loved it both times (we visited last year in March of 2015 and this year, March of 2016). The server was great and the Shrimp Tacos were to die for. I typically don't write reviews, but I was just so shocked at the low rating. This app makes me give a star to rate but if I could give negative stars I would. Worst dining experience I have ever had. Had dinner there with a large party of 8. Not enormous but large. Ordered our drinks and had to send three of them back. Ordered our dinner salads and appetizer. Appetizer came out Luke warm and with dirty wet plates. One of the side salads was never prepared or brought to us. Dinner arrived 1 1/2 hours later!!!!! One order was completely forgotten and not prepared! One came out missing half of the order and one came out so soggy, greasy and stale it was not able to be consumed. Poor planning by cooks as it sat under the heat lamp while the other meals were prepared! French fries never came to the table. Drink refills occurred on a slow basis only after we asked. By the time we finished our food we cancelled the forgotten food because we were done and angry with our experience! The worst part was we could see the cooks where we were seated. I could see the line cooks eating onion rings off one of the plates and witnessed bare hand preparation after hands were wiped on filthy pants. Cooks were rude and yelling at waitresses. One meal was reported as good by my child and completely consumed. However, he developed nasty food poisoning and has been vomiting all day. After we left we went to our hotel and ate the cookies and chips we packed from home. The worst part is we missed a day on the slopes because my child was vomiting the whole day! The manager was scared to deal with me so he comp'd our meal without even speaking to me! He was busy at a banquet in the hotel and sent a sweet waitress to do his dirty work! Staff was hard working but was not supported or managed! Don't even think about eating here.... There is s McDonalds and gas station by the highway. This operation should be on Restaurant Impossible! Do yourself a favor, try something else in Kellogg or call Domino's. Staying at the lodge again, we thought we'd tried this place again, hoping for better results. Initial visit was January 2015. Returned tonight, January 9th 2016. Slow service and mediocre food at best. I called to make sure we could get in and was told it was very slow, come down. When we got there, we were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress asked what we wanted to drink and said she was extremely busy and the kitchen would need at least 20 minutes for any food orders. The place was maybe 30% full. No surprise based on reviews. I ordered a beer that came out barely chilled. About 2/3 or the way through my beer, I noticed gross items swirling in the bottom of my glass, floating around. I made mention to our waitress with her response being "you had floating things in your beer?". No attempt to resolve the issue or even show some sort of service - nor waive the charge on the bill for it. $5 for lukewarm beer with extra science experiments. Food was not terrible but wasn't something to write home about. Burger was cooked way too much, raw onion and nearly translucent tomato. My wife ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich and fries - not worth describing. When we asked for ranch and ketchup, we received one small side of ranch and a bottle of ketchup. Upon two other requests for additional sides of ranch, we received a large, community ranch bowl for the table. With two kids, this isn't very conducive. Beyond the service being extremely lackluster, we heard an employee get scolded for not alerting someone about a table being up (I assume food from the kitchen). I'm not opposed to training employees, but the fact they did it where 1/2 of the restaurant could hear every word that was said seems completely inappropriate. The entire staff seemed to be running around without a clue as to what they were supposed to be doing. We came during off season. Weather was beautiful and we asked to sit outside since we gave two kids and wanted them to run out some energy. They wouldn't sit us outside but it wasn't busy inside so agreed to try. My husband and I both had a pasta dish. They were both ok but the cheesecake chimichanga was Amazing! read more

I can only speak for the bar side as I've never sat on the restaurant side. Service has always been excellent, especially enjoy the bartender Johnny B. Love the rectangular design of the bar, makes it really easy to chat with those around you. Food is normally pretty good. I'm a fan of their burgers and the ahi tuna appetizer. I do feel like the prices are a bit exorbitant, especially since the cooks tend to lack consistency between dishes. Would like to see some new items on the menu. I would especially suggest that they add drink specials to their happy hour, kind of odd to only have a special on appetizers. But overall I've always had good experiences here. read more

Today we tried again, after our drink orders didn't arrive after 20 min (not even water), we didn't wait around any longer to give our food orders and walked out... again. It was not very busy. We ended up in Kellogg only because there was no vacancies in Coeur D'Alene, but were pleasantly surprised with this neat town that once was a mining mecca. I ordered the seared ahi and Greg ordered the salmon w/huckleberry sauce. Both were amazing! Greg said it was the best meal he had all year... and let me tell you, that's saying something! We enjoyed it so much, we each ordered our own desserts to see what was in store for us! We normally order one dessert (if any) and share. read more

The food was pretty decent, but the place was seriously understaffed. Our waitress worked hard but was struggling to cover the tables since she was the only person serving. It was a Monday which isn't the busiest day at a a ski resort, but it still felt understaffed and service suffered. As I said, the food was decent. Me and my wife are on our 1 year anniversary and decided to stay at silver mountain resort for a few days, we have had this planned for some time and looking very forward to this. We decided to eat here because it's in part of the resort. First off the wait staff had bout 3 people standing around doing nothing, the menu was disappointing, the prices outrageous, and the food quality sucks. I ordered the the chicken bacon wrap, not good! My wife had the fish tacos, they were average, I had drank my water and with 3 waiters standing around didn't get a refill until we were leaving. Then comes the bill that just summed up what this whole restaurant is- a RIP OFF!!! As my wife looked at the bill we noticed that subtotal wasn't adding up, they had added two dollars to the total, and the computer doesn't make mistakes on totaling tickets the waiters had snuck 2 extra dollars to our ticket thinking we wouldn't notice such a small change, when we brought the ticket up to our waiter and asked why the subtotal wasn't adding up she looked caught an didn't say anything then this other women came in and said ohh you didn't say you didn't want such in such so the computer didn't take it out! Yeah right the waiters here are scamming tourist who work hard to be able to go on vacation and don't need to be scammed out of our hard earned money. I give the food a rating of 3 but due to the insufferable gas that my family and I experienced shortly following the meal the food rating is reduced to a 1. The customer service gets a rating of zero. Extremely poor customer service & incompetent forgetful staff; our meal was supposed to come with soup or salad - didn't know this until the following day. If I could put 0 stars I would. There was dead flowers on our table with murky water in the vase. The ranch was watered down. Our food was cold. We got the appetizer at the same time as our meal. The waiter was very rude. It was beyond over priced for the quality of food and the service we received. My fiancé and I are beyond displeased with that expierence. So disappointed. We have been here before and had poor service but the food was okay so we thought we'd try again... HUGE MISTAKE!!! The service was the worst I have experienced. First we had to remind our server multiple times about our drinks. Then there was a mistake at the bar and brought my husband another beer, right after bringing the first, which was fine but they charged us for it. We waited over an hour for our food. Our server came by at one point and said it would be about three minutes, but another 15 minutes our food had still not come. No apologies, nothing. Brought our food, we asked for boxes and our bill. Food was fine...but the service lacked in all aspects. We would have had multiple rounds of cocktails, but were not offered more drinks. Our waters sat empty, even when I stacked the glasses as a clue...and we were eating spicy fajita salads! I've never been more thirsty! We had to chase our server down for EVERYTHING, and she still did not make it a priority to come to our table (a group of 7 mind you, who called in advance, and were well prepared to eat, drink, and be merry). It took 20 minutes to bring me a bill, and then another 15 to catch her to run my card. No offers of dessert, and basically no customer service whatsoever. Disappointing way to spend an evening after dropping $800 to stay in the hotel. Not acceptable. When a family spends half a mortgage payment to take a trip, the least we expect is a restaurant with decent service. Managers, it is certainly something to take a look at. I suggest bringing meals and cooking in the rooms, if this is the kind of customer service to look forward to. On a side note, best bloody mary's I've had in a while in the poolside bar!
