The wine section is good too and in the past Steve and I have enjoyed this section. Cider and Kombucha sections aren't bad. Also we came across cards covering various occasions perhaps to accompany a bottle of wine or whatever suits your fancy and we got two birthday cards here as we felt we found something unique. BevMo! When we showed up we were greeted by Marco, a very friendly dog that kept us company throughout our visit. You have to call ahead and make an appointment to get a wine tasting in. So be sure and do that. The winery makes virtually all red wine. Unfortunately I can no longer have red wine due to migraines but I was in for some more of that great cider! I had two glasses of it. Do refreshing and crisp! The owner also took us around the property and we gazed at the river near his backyard. Excellent experience with this winery but do remember to call and make an appointment for your arrival!

The theme at the taproom is fun as it's done in a steampunk style that makes this unique! The mead is amazing and Steve and I have tried quite a bit of it and all of it is wonderful. Probably my favorite one however is the Lady Grey as it is a Earl Grey flavored mead which is simply out of this world. They have a variety of different flavors involving berry flavors and meads on the on the dryer side for a flavor profile. They also have wine but we haven't delved into that yet as we are typically drawn to the mead on our visits. On our last visit they had little posable dragons for sale which were super cute and of course I had to get one. I already got the t shirt obsession covered when visiting taproom on the first visit. I love the logo! I highly recommend this meadery and the owners are super nice and a pleasure to visit with.

The wine is not going to arrive in 2 days like Amazon, it may be 6 months. 2. If you have it shipped as I do, there are spring and fall shipping times which are safe for the wine to travel, and you have to wait, 3. The wine descriptions are effusive, but accurate. 4. These are wines you can open and drink for 2-3 days without the "mass produced wine" type of dramatic decline in quality that you get from the grocery store. 5. I envy those of you who live near the store and can pick up wine at will, but I buy enough to stay ahead of my use, and cellar the rest. 6. If you get an email that looks like a great deal, jump quick or it will be sold out. Garagiste isn't for everyone, but it is a great way to obtain excellent wines at a very good price.
