As a non-vegetarian, I love coming here with my vegetarian wife. The whole place is vegetarian, but the food tastes so real you honestly wouldn't know the difference. The texture and flavor are spot on -- everything tastes fresh and light, never heavy or greasy. The restaurant's always clean, clean bathrooms, and the service is great. They're super friendly, always checking in, and the food comes out hot and fast. It's a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but clearly a favorite -- there's always someone eating here, and I'm definitely one of the repeat customers.

To those of you that love eating Asian food but have very strict dietary restrictions (meaning no meat, no eggs, no dairy, and especially no MSG), this very popular hole-in-the-wall restaurant will absolutely have you covered. This is none other than "Noble Vegetarian". I am no stranger to this place as I have been eating here for the past couple of decades. The location can be a bit tricky to find as they are in a very small, quaint strip-mall off of College Oak Dr. and adjacent to Auburn Blvd. in the Foothills Farms neighborhood of Sacramento. Keep in mind, this place has straight "vegan" everything so if you are cautious if there is any animal products, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. And this includes all of the cooking oils that they use. Going back to my latest stop at this place, I decided to order my food for pickup during the afternoon of Sunday 1/19/2025 at around 12:00pm. Since I have not yet had breakfast, my stomach was rumbling with hunger. The menu here is very extensive as they carry a huge assortment of vegan options. This includes appetizers such as egg rolls, fries, nuggets, and much more. They also carry a very nice assortment of salads, soups, sandwiches, impossible burgers, rice & noodle plates, and full Asian-inspired vegan entrées. I ended up going with their E11 - "Happy Family Sizzling" which included broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, celery, mushrooms, onions, yams, vegeken (which is a meat substitute), and tofu. As I mentioned, finding this place is a real hit-or-miss so if you've never been here, make sure you have your maps app open to help navigate you through. Parking is fairly easy to find as this place is very quiet. Once inside, you will notice about 10 tables in case you wish to dine-in. Once the young man handed me my food, I made the quick 10-minute drive back home. I will say that this place is absolutely as good as it gets and my entrée was absolute perfection in every way possible. Maybe just a tad bit on the salty side but all of the flavors were balanced well. Since it had been a few years eating here, I don't know why I waited so long. And the young man who took my order over the phone was so polite. All in all, "Noble Vegetarian" is a delicious and legit spot for those that need to stay away from meat, poultry, dairy, and eggs. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

We ate here a few weeks ago and we enjoyed our order. I've actually been coming here since before Covid and realized I've not written a review. Service is always excellent thanks to the servers who have loyally been employed at this establishment. This is prob one of my favorite vegetarian restaurants. The ambiance can use a little bit of updating, it needs more lighting and maybe a fresh coat of paint and modern furniture. I think it has looked the same since before Covid. Roses on the grill are one of my fave appetizers here. The pho soup is good, I wish they more of the soy meat and seafood that one of the vegetarian restaurants in Santa Clara has. The chow mein was plentiful and packed with different soy protein. We'll come back and support this place!

The orange vegeken was exactly right on flavor just slight off with a spongy bouncey texture. The sampler was not a win for me. I didn't enjoy any of it. Also not pictures is the wonton soup which was great for the cold but very light flavor. I love deep umami flavors and it was more of a light refreshing broth and wontons, if that's what you're looking for. The service was really quick and so so friendly. I liked the vibe of this place and would definitely return again to try some new things and get more of the orange vegeken.

Wow! Wow! Wow!! I finally had a chance to stop in, and I'm so glad I did!! Ample parking, small restaurant at the end of the center. Very low key, if your picky about little details, as in high maintenance- not the place for you. These are the places that make you feel like you're experiencing another country. There are many older women cooking gome cooked meals, quickly and so delicious, it's insane!!! Great customer service, lovely, calm, collective musics . There's no way I'm not coming back. I have to try EVERYTHING on this menu!!! It's a must. The Thai tea- oh so yummy. The appetizers were excellent!!! Full of just delicious, vegetables, and flavor. Cooked to perfection!! My goodness, where have you been my whole life, is what it felt like! The mixed vegetables in coconut curry is flavored just right with the brown rice on the side. I was told that the jackftuit sandwich and chips was delightful, and fulfilling! A must try!! Don't pass this place up. Give them a 5 star, quit being foodie snobies! Thank- you again and see you all soon.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant after many years had just flown by! So when Bridget W. arranged another "Eat Your Veggies" UYE: https://www.yelp.com/events/sacramento-uye-eat-your-veggies-noble-vegetarian?ytl_=73175e886a054b03b3fb32480d3b1266&utm_medium=email&utm_source=email_event_reminder&utm_campaign=May-01-2024 I was excited to be amongst the honored guests! I have always enjoyed veggie and vegan eateries and when the opportunity arises, I'm all in! I arrived here with my good Yelp friends Jenny P. and David O. Bridget W., Janelle M., and Kerensa U., Carol P. and Derrick C., were already seated in the center dining table. I was already feeling the warmth and happiness to see everyone, (along with being super hungry)! Upon entering, you get menus, but they require customers to place their orders and pay at the order counter. There really isn't much wait service per se. It was pretty busy and there was only one staff member practically doing everything from taking orders, distributing food and cleaning tables. She did a good job, but I missed getting some water refills... At least they weren't making her prepare the meals too! I ordered the Sunshine Curry Potato dish with a side of brown rice. I had been craving curry for months now, and finally got my wishes fulfilled. It was just as good as it looked on the menu, including the very tasty brown rice! They serve generous portions, so needless to say, I had to take some left overs home, which maintained it's deliciousness the following day! Except for being thirsty halfway through the meal, I loved the food and my dinner companions! We remained socializing until the restaurant was getting ready to close. I hope we can reunite here again sometime!

Now that I have been to Noble a couple of times each time trying something new it's time for a review. For health reasons I'm supposed to be on a Vegan diet but have been resistant of it as I love meat, but it's not time for a change in how I eat. My friend who is vegan told me about this place so we met up for dinner. It's plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and will help with any questions you have and I'll even make some recommendations of you are unsure of what to try. My first visit I ordered the vegan shrimp fresh rolls I changed from peanut sauce to sweet chili sauce I also ordered Veganest with an ice cold Thai Tea. My Vegan shrimp fresh roll that is made from yams was so delicious that it tasted just like shrimp down to the taste, texture, color and shape of shrimp. My veganest was a little dry but still good and I would order again and just ask for them to add extra sauce to my noodles. The portion size is great and the prices are amazing. My second visit I ordered the Ruby Pearls. I can't remember if it's their version of sweet n sour chicken or sweet n sour pork, but either way it is absolutely delicious! I ordered that with a side of jasmine rice and the portions are good and filling. This is one of my new go to spots for some yummy vegan food and it's not too far from me which is convenient.

I came back to Noble Vegetarian after a loooong while (at least 3 years). It has been a nostalgic place for me because I used to come here when I was a student at Arc. I can happily say that the food is still top-tier quality and very fresh! This is my favorite plant-based restaurant of all time. I lived in LA for the past few years and tried a dozen vegan spots there, but I swear none of them hit like Noble Vegetarian does. To all vegetarians and vegans, you will love the variety of options here that other places don't have! My favorite are the golden rolls, mushu mushu, roti drumsticks, Mongolian wonder, garlic vegeken, vermicelli noodle bowl, wonton noodle soup, and Thai iced tea :)

Service was attentive and kind, food was amazing! Even my non-vegan family enjoyed the dishes. Very flavorful and the portion sizes were very generous. Ambiance was cozy, perfect hole-in-the-wall vibe. Restaurant was clean and not too busy. Wait time was minimal. Highly recommend and definitely won't be the last time we visit!

So nice to find a vegan restaurant not too far from home…read more I loved the easy menu style. Basically: do you want a small plate or a big plate? Soup? Dessert? Simple. Best part is all the food is delicious. We started with 2 bowls of mung bean w/ mixed vegetable soup. It was a true creamy soup, so I put my spoon down and drank it out of the bowl. Sorry manners? Then ordered 2 large plates of short grain brown rice, kidney beans w/ onion & garlic, baked yam, kabocha & butternut squash w/ garlic, collard greens and kale w/ shiitake mushroom sauce, and a mixed salad w/ basil lemon & agave dressing. Everything was very good. My favorites were the kidney beans, the yam combo, and the greens with the basil lemon dressing. We also got a Bahn Mi. Loved that it was really full. I don't like a skimpy Bahn Mi. For dessert, we took home slices of Coconut Pie, Chocolate Pie, Key Lime Pie, and the Himalaya Pie (layered with key lime, strawberries, coconut, and drizzled chocolate). My favorite was the Key Lime Pie -- tart and creamy. Then the Chocolate Pie, which was soft and indulgent. The Himalaya Pie was fun because every bite tasted a little different. The only one I didn't care for was the Coconut Pie because the texture was a bit hard from the coconut fat. One of the best things about this place is that they change things up based on what's seasonal. We travel with our dogs and called ahead to ask about outdoor seating. They don't officially have patio seating, but they kindly pulled a table outside for the two of us. They accommodate well-behaved dogs, and there was a great overhang for shade. We felt very comfortable sitting out there, so don't be shy about asking if you're traveling with your pooches. I briefly saw the inside and it was neat and well organized. I also saw someone bring their own container, which I loved. Definitely a spot we'll return to.

Those of you that know me already know that I am a big time meat eater. But I am always open to soy protein and impossible meat options. This takes me to the Arden neighborhood of Sacramento where I had the opportunity to try out "RAW Superfood Cafe". Located in the Howe Bout Arden shopping center, this place has been opened since early-2024 while replacing the once popular "CREAM" which was a surprise since they did not last long in this busy outdoor strip mall. Prior to coming here, I've already heard of RAW Superfood Cafe as they have 3 locations in the Bay Area; San Jose, Milpitas, and San Jose; and 2 locations in the Sacramento area; Elk Grove and this one that I am reviewing. I ended up coming here during the afternoon on Friday 6/5/2026 at around 5:15pm. The inside area is very bright, cheerful, and lively with a few tables with leather booth-seating, bamboo wood paneling, and fake grass with the business name aligned to it. Additionally, there is a large digital kiosk where you can place your order and pay using a card or smartphone. The specialty here are their blended and layered bowls which offer a huge assortment of customizable creations. This is where you can choose a base (for example, açaí, mango, dragonfruit, etc.) while picking various toppings (nuts, fruits, coconut chips, etc.) and finishing it off with a drizzle of vanilla, chocolate, or anything you might be craving. However, they also offer a vast amount of smoothies, protein shakes, wellness drinks, blended and iced coffee beverages, and even a respectable amount of food. When I say food, this just isn't a couple items; this is more a few dozen food items to choose from. Everything from various sandwiches, burgers, breakfast toasts, bagels, salads, and soups. Since I was craving an actual meal/drink, I went with their "Bánh Mì Sandwich" (priced at $13.95). This sandwich consisted of house Asian sauce, caramelized onions, pickled daikon, carrots, cilantro, mayo, jalapeño, and cucumber. I paired this a refreshingly cold-pressed Calamansi juice (priced at $5.50). I ordered this exclusively on the kiosk and paid for it digitally via-Apple Pay. Within 5-7 minutes, my drink and food was ready for pickup. I am quite picky about my Bánh Mì Sandwiches but for them to substitute this with vegan meat was an absolute win-win for me. The 'meat' was well-seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor while the bread was soft and made to perfection. Even my drink hit the spot on a seasonably warm 94°F day. I thoroughly enjoyed this while dining inside a very clean, sterile, and bright interior while the employees were absolutely friendly and accommodating. With that said and done, I am giving the Arden "RAW Superfood Cafe" a perfect and unanimous five-star rating.

We both ordered the **Bahn Mi Burger**--mine with the black bean patty, his with the Beyond patty--and we both upgraded to the gluten‑free bun for an extra $0.50. The burgers were disappointing. The bun was extremely dry, the patties lacked flavor, and the jalapeños were so intensely spicy that even as someone who eats cayenne on everything, I had to remove almost all of them. The Asian-style sauce didn't help either. It immediately made the bun soggy and didn't add a good flavor. Mayo would've balanced the burger much better, but there wasn't any--just the sauce. Based on this, we wouldn't return for their vegetarian burgers. Customer service also felt lacking. You place your order on a **computer screen**, not with a person, which already removes any sense of interaction or guidance. On top of that, no one was at the front counter when we arrived, and getting the bathroom code took longer than it should have. Once inside, there was no toilet paper, and the water dispenser outside was nearly empty. The café does seem popular for bowls and smoothies--we saw a lot of people ordering those--so maybe that's where they shine. But for vegetarian burgers, I can't recommend this spot.
