If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We were looking for a late night snack but wanted a healthier option. This place is amazing. I got the chicken mixed bowl with the lemon thyme sauce. The chicken is roasted to perfection and super juicy. All the ingredients are fresh--- greens & grains, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, roasted sunflower seeds, and cucumber. AND--- it is gluten, soy, dairy free, and no refined sugar. We have had it delivered twice and hadn't disappointed. Try it, you won't regret it.

Ordered to go. Too much rice with very little meat. I'm not sure I would order here again

Affordable, healthy and tasty!! Do not sleep on this place!! *Ordered through DoorDash* Bowls: -They claim that everything is gluten, soy, dairy free and zero refined sugar! -Since I had ordered from DoorDash, I was a little confused with the structure until I went on their website and saw how it was broken down. -You get to choose how you want your bowl to be constructed with a base, choice of meat and signature sauce (can also order meats, veggies and sauces extra on the side as well) -All bowls comes with: "juicy slow roasted chicken, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, roasted sunflower seeds, pickled red onions, fresh cucumber, parsley garnish" -Everything blended together perfectly Choices of Bases: a) Hearty Bowl: base of millet & rice b) Garden Bowl: base of fresh spring mix c) Mixed Bowl: base of greens & grains Bowls that I tried: 1) Chicken mixed bowl 2) Shredded Pork mixed bowl 3) Wagyu mixed bowl -I went with the mixed bowl so I could get to try everything. The rice and veggies, were cooked to perfection. The veggies were chopped to tinny pieces (almost rice like), perfectly salted and still had a little crunch to it. -For the most part, all the meats I tried were juicy, though the chicken meat was more on the dry side compared to the pork and Wagyu (Wagyu being the most juicy). -Although the wagyu one was packed with flavor and very tasty, it was definitely different having wagyu shredded. I would prefer it as a normal steak strips. The wagyu is also almost double the price than the chicken and pork, but they did give a lot more in portion which I was glad since the pit fall of the chicken and pork was that they give less meat comparatively. -Regardless of the meat portion (wish they could have added just a little bit more), it was still decent in size where I had left overs since they packed it with the veggies and rice. Sides: CLEAN VEGETABLES -This is pretty much the veggies in the bowls, however, I got it as a side as well to feed to my kids. -Again, I love how it was chopped up into small pieces, which hid the fact the it was vegetable and the flavor was so good on its own that my kids couldn't tell it was veggies. -It also taste good when you add the sauces to it. SLOW ROASTED CHICKPEAS & POTATOES -melts in your mouth, I didn't expect it to be so flavorful! -it was just slightly on the saltier side than I would like, but it made chickpeas taste delicious Sauces I tried: LEMON THYME: lemony, herbal, zesty -Loved this sauce, probably my favorite of the 3 sauces I tried. It definitely has a zesty taste to it. ROSEMARY BALSAMIC: earthy, tangy, sweet -very flavorful and more on the sweet side, it didn't have that sourness vinegar that I was expecting SMOKY CHIPOTLE: smoky, spicy -Was not spicy at all and the least flavor in my opinion DARK CHOCOLATE CASHEW PUDDING: sweetened with whole dates only, topped with decaf espresso and sea salt -Was a bit disappointed in this one. -it was definitely rich in the chocolate flavor and surprisingly strong espresso taste, but not as sweet as I would have liked -It was also small in size like the size of the sauces or just a tiny bit bigger, so very very small amount -if you are a fan of unsweetened dark chocolate then you may like this. Although I do like dark chocolate, this was just a bit too bitter for me, Overall: -Definitely great value for the taste, cost and amount of food you got. -Would highly recommend this place and can't wait to order again!

I love snake river wagyu, I used to get their ground beef when I was in Orange County so when I saw that name, I just got to order it on DD. The beef was so tender and had that nutty deep flavor, so delicious and I got that with chipotle sauce but tonight I'm gonna order the same wagyu beef bowl with lemon thyme sauce. I also ordered cashew pudding but it wasn't as yummy as I expected, maybe because it wasn't cold, it was warm.

Let me just say this! I ordered from here twice in one day! I was trying to find something healthy!! So I ordered! It's so good, flavorful and affordable and everything is so pretty I got the roasted chickpea/potato garden bowl w/ lemon thyme dressing with the hot sauce (so good), green smoothie and chocolate pudding. and then I ordered it again.

Slow Roasted Chickpeas & Potatoes. DELICIOUS!!! Next time I'm going to try it with the Ben's hot sauce.

The service and food quality have always been excellent. They have a huge menu, a friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere that feels a step above a typical taqueria or fast casual spot, with solid table service to match. It's about time I gave them the credit they deserve because their food is consistently great. Historically, I've loved their enchilada plate, especially the mole enchilada. It's one of my favorites. Today, with the sun out, I was in more of a mariscos mood, so I ordered the shrimp ceviche and the fried tilapia plate. The ceviche is very bright and fresh, with mango mixed in, which adds a really nice layer of flavor to the traditional combination. It comes with freshly fried tostadas that are crisp and flavorful. I'm not personally a fan of the white crackers on the side, but they also bring complimentary chips and salsa, so once the tostadas run out you can use the tortilla chips instead, which works just fine. The tilapia was excellent. It's hard to go wrong with a well fried tilapia, and they do it right. The guacamole and pico on the side are great for building tacos, and the beans and rice are both perfect. You really can't go wrong coming here, especially with the variety they offer. Sitting outside on the patio is nice, though this particular location can feel a bit sketchy at times since a few odd characters often cut through the parking. It's mostly fine, but if you're looking for a more relaxed patio vibe, the other location might be a better option. That said, this spot also has a comfortable indoor dining area.

That's always a big deal with Mexican spots. The chilaquiles were delicious. I'd order that myself on the next visit. We didn't care for their scrambled eggs on the plate, could've went a bit softer on the scramble. Overall this place is a great local spot for Mexican eats. Affordable while still serving big portions and awesome bites. Cashier was super friendly and patient.

This small local cheesesteak restaurant quickly became one of my go-to's and is now part of my…read moreregular food rotation. First off, the cheesesteaks are delicious. So far I've tried the supreme cheesesteak and the hot cheesesteak; both are really good and highly recommended. You can't go wrong with the top three, which I believe are the original, the hot, and the supreme. I think the highlight of these cheesesteaks is definitely the bread. It's soft but not too moist, providing the perfect texture. It's not hard at all, like a Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwich, but there is still a nice crust and crunch to the bread with a perfect taste. The pictures don't do it justice from the surface, but as you bite into it, they mix the melted cheese of your choice very well with the steak for a nice burst of flavor. Pair it with their amazing original French fries that remind me of some really good fast food fries, like from McDonald's or other local fry spots. The service is what you expect from a local small restaurant. They're nice, chill, and very simple. You order, and they call you when your order is done. They treat you well, especially if you ask for extra condiments such as mayo and ketchup, though ranch does cost extra. They serve it on a nice little metal tin platter with parchment paper, which makes it feel and taste great, especially when you eat it fresh inside the restaurant. To my surprise, the first few times we ordered from here, we got it to go, and it was still good by the time we brought it home. Regarding the size, I would say normally you can't go wrong with the standard size, which is the regular or the small. It is filling already. If you're extra hungry or just really feeling a cheesesteak, the large will definitely do you justice and make you feel satisfied. In my photos, I've attached pictures of the supreme and the hot cheesesteak. You can't go wrong with either, but my choice is definitely the hot. I've also tried their other items, such as the standard hot dog, which comes with the same bread. Based on other photos people have posted, it looks delicious as well. It is like a standard hot dog, but I'm telling you, the bread is something very unique about this restaurant. I think that's what makes you want to come back. The bread, plus the way they cook the cheesesteaks and everything put together, makes this place stand out. The vibe inside is very chill, serving more as a quick-eat area. It is a nice place to just get lunch or a quick dinner. It's pretty small, maybe fitting only 30 or so people, and they're located right next to the movie theater. I feel like this shop is a small hole-in-the-wall, and I highly recommend it. I don't think you would regret it.

The meat itself was juicy and not dried out, which was a plus, but the cheese was pretty minimal--probably just about two slices total. One of my friends who grew up here with me was in town and suggested Kiki's, which felt like an odd choice since neither of us had been in years. After a few beers I entertained the idea. A lot of their locations have closed, but the one on Northgate, the one we used to hit throughout high school and college, was still standing. The menu looks different now, more customizable and cleaner. I ordered a small OG Kiki's fries with ranch and mango habanero, a guilty pleasure wing flavor, and I was honestly surprised by how good it was. It came out fast, just like you hope at a place like that, and the service was good. It is not inventive or stunning or anything like that, but it does the job. If you are craving it, then you are craving it. It even feels like the quality is better than it was back in the day, so maybe downsizing their footprint was the right move and they are focusing on getting things right. And truly, who does not love a bowl of fries, chicken, ranch, and mango habanero sauce. It sounds glorious, especially if you have indulged in some extracurriculars beforehand. Well done, Kiki's. So after a very challenging eating weekend I decided I was going to low-carb it for a few…read moredays-which is definitely a challenge since it pretty much wipes out my favorite food and drink products-no rice,no bread,no sugar,no beer. Well thank god whenever I do decide to do such craziness,I live in a world that has In-N-Out in it.They are a true savior when it comes to low-carb eating. Generally I get a protein-style double double which features basically 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese wrapped in lettuce-wrap. For this visit though I was going to try something new on the menu-We were going to try the item called The Flying Dutchman. The Flying Dutchman is basically 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese grilled together-I added "Onion-Wrapped",which adds whole grilled onion slices on the outside for a little added texture. This item comes with nothing else,no pickles,no mustard,no spread-it's very basic. Not sure exactly what I was thinking when I ordered 2 of them considering my normal order is just a double double but I did and my total for 2 of these was $11.40 before tax which is $5.70 per Flying Dutchman. I got them to eat in the car,as I wanted to eat them fresh off the grill for my first Flying Dutchman experience. When I got them-the cheese was oozing,if I was prepared I bet I could've even got a pretty good cheese pull type video when I first got them in my car. I got to say I was pretty surprised how easy 4 patties went down and I didn't miss the condiments-I'm usually a extra pickle, extra chilies type of guy when I visit In-N-Out. I feel the Flying Dutchman is packed with so much flavor from the Grilled Whole Onions on the outside while still letting the incredible taste of the beef patties come forward that the other things aren't missed. I didn't mind because I like my fried chicken hot, lol. The service was quite good. The workers greeted me when I came in. The person that gave my order gave me a bunch of hot sauce, honey, and butter. I had to knock down 2 stars because of location. It's in an area with a lot of homeless people everywhere. There were some of them sleeping right outside in the parking lot. There was a shirtless man hanging outside the store soliciting people which caused them to look scared.

It's small with no drive-thru but seemed very clean inside. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich, by itself, total was $5.97. These days, that's not too bad but let's see what it's about... Well, as you can see, it's not that big - my finger used for scale. It's only about 3 inches wide. But it looks good, smells good! And it was pretty good. The chicken was moist and the crispy coating was good but not very spicy. I was glad it wasn't overly salty, which dominates fast food. But halfway through I kinda tasted fish? Is this deep fried with fish? Not horrible but it was there. The pickles add a crisp freshness and the bun was soft. For 6 bucks? Not a value but pretty good for a small sandwich. Get it again? Yes, but I'm not rushing out the door for it.
