WE ARE BACK BABY!!! The renovations look amazing, and the concept is still basically the same except for more focus on food vs a bottle shop. There's a lot more seating now, and the back patio has more seating too. It was quite a nice upgrade and they've added new menu items, but kept some of the old. Same great service and people! Still my favorite sandwich shop in charlotte.

Best little hidden treasure in noda! Great food and good vibes. The staff is super nice and there is always parking (FREE) parking which is a huge bonus!

This place is serving up the best sandwiches in Charlotte. Bar none. From their Reuben to Grilled Cheeses, whoever is making them clearly got a PHD in flavor and consistency. If this place isn't a part of your weekly rotation...seriously, what are you doing?

Blown away by how good this was! I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu. Staff was very helpful and kind. Love this place!!

Though the menu is brief, the vegan option are great! I would have never guessed how good apple would be on a sandwich! You order at the counter and take a number. Our food was fast, though something the table next to us ordered, took until we were done eaten to be ready despite us arriving after them. Place is grungy, but not in a bad way.

NoDa Bodega is a great staple with fast service. The food is well priced and delicious. They have a great selection of chips and drinks to go along with your order. There is also an outside back patio where I enjoy sitting most days. It's kept clean here as well. They have Taylor ham, which is one of the reasons why we discovered this place. The Jersey Photoman is a must try!

Always a good choice! I'm enjoying making my way through the entire menu but make sure you get the tots - always! Service is quick and pleasant and I love taking a look at all of the bodega items for purchase

Turkey sausage egg and cheese biscuit with cheese grits

Visited Noda Bodega over the weekend. It was crowded with a local group of runners -- clearly regulars. The cashier was friendly and welcoming. I was glad to see that the menu had non-pork breakfast protein options. I decided to order the Turkey sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit with a side of grits. We also ordered some tator tots to share. The biscuit was delicious! It was soft and crumbly. The grits were creamy, but definitely needed more salt. The tator tots were not good -- which is hard thing to get wrong. Overall, a nice place to stop for a quick casual breakfast.

Found this place on our way to Charlotte airport. So glad we did!! My husband and I shared a wrap. Oh my goodness it was so good! I look forward to coming again when in the area.

What a cute little spot! After hearing about this place for years, I finally got around to trying it. Noda Bodega seems like a pared down version of Rhino Market but with more seating for indoor dining. I ordered one of the daily sandwich specials--the Throwback. It was pretty good! It was very filling and I like that they included a wrapped pickle spear and plenty of napkins! Also, great customer service and a decent sized parking lot! I'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

Excellent place to pick up a healthy, sandwich. We ordered the Cuban sandwich (which was the special for the day) and the bodega Reuben. The Cuban sandwich receives high scores for the ham, cheese, and overall girth of the sandwich! The bread was fresh and warm. The second sandwich was the bodega Ruben. Much to my surprise I didn't miss the classic Russian dressing on it. Instead this Reuben comes with a tangy mustard concoction putting a find touch on this smaller but tasty sandwich. Again the bread was fresh, the tangy coleslaw topping was fab, and the sandwich size was notable.

I've had this bookmarked a while and let me tell you it should be moved to the top of your list!!! This is the best avacado toast with egg I've ever had!! Fluffy avacado and - I dont do spicy so it's just a hint of spice and picked onion! Wow!! Incredible. The sandwich as well- top of the top! Do it!

Last year, I had a sandwich in Spain that I haven't been able to stop thinking about. I've tried several places around Charlotte looking for something similar, but nothing came close. I reached out to The Culture Shop to see if they'd be willing to recreate it, and not only did they say yes, they turned it into their weekly special using local honey, locally sourced peppers, and local bread. The result completely exceeded my expectations. It captured everything I loved about the original while adding its own Charlotte twist. It was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had. Beyond the food, the team is incredibly kind, welcoming, and excited about what they do. The shop itself is worth browsing too, with a menu full of creative sandwiches and delicious options, plus a thoughtfully curated selection of pantry items and specialty foods. It's rare to find a business that's this passionate, creative, and willing to go the extra mile for a customer. I'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend The Culture Shop enough!

As a San Francisco Bay Area foodie who's been steadily eating my way through Charlotte, I had…read morebookmarked Lee's Sandwiches and was excited to finally give it a try--and overall, it did not disappoint. The concept is refreshingly simple: a straightforward menu of banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls, chips, and prepared foods ready to go. They also offer beer on tap, traditional Vietnamese iced coffee and tea, and fresh fruit smoothies. No frills--just solid, approachable Vietnamese fare. I ordered the #8 Chinese barbecue (char siu) banh mi and requested light pâté and extra vegetables. The sandwich was made to order and came out quickly. One of the owners kindly let me know that pâté typically isn't included on that particular sandwich and didn't charge me for it, which I appreciated. The sandwich itself was good, reasonably priced (around $8-9), and filling. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which delivered exactly the caffeine kick I was looking for. It wasn't overly sweet, had beautifully crushed ice, and came with a proper lid--not the plastic film seal you sometimes see at boba shops. Combined, the sandwich and coffee came to about $15, which felt like a great value. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. There's a small tuk-tuk display with retail items, traditional Vietnamese decor like bamboo hats on the walls, and even a seating area with low stools that gives a nod to the street-side dining style you'd find in Vietnam. I also loved the creative touch of repurposed Café Du Monde coffee cans holding napkins and chopsticks--simple, clever, and memorable. One small note for authenticity seekers: as someone who grew up with traditional Vietnamese cuisine, I've been searching for the classic old-school imperial rolls made with rice paper that fries up bubbly, crispy, and slightly chewy. The owner confirmed what I've been noticing--that many restaurants in the Charlotte area adapt recipes to American tastes, so that particular style is harder to find here. It wasn't a dealbreaker, just an interesting cultural observation. For my personal taste, the char siu wasn't quite as rich or fatty as the Chinese barbecue versions I'm used to, and the pâté had a slightly bitter note. Next time, I'll likely try the lemongrass pork banh mi and skip the pâté altogether. Insider tip: This is a great spot for a quick, affordable lunch with authentic flavors and fast service. The iced coffee alone is worth the visit. Overall, a cute, well-run neighborhood shop with solid value, friendly service, and a menu that does a few things well. I'll definitely be back to continue exploring the offerings.
