But I digress, I used to love this place, good food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, open on Sundays and something other than fast food and in this area, all of those points made it a great place to eat. However, the past 4 times I've been here the only thing good was the service. The food is just awful and I don't say that as an exaggeration. I had to put so much salt and pepper on my salad just to make it have any semblance of flavor. This was after I asked for extra dressing to try and add flavor but it turned out, the dressing had no seasoning either! My husband is a man who will combine 3 day old Mexican food with 2 day old pasta, reheat it 3 times in the microwave then leave it for 24 hours and still eat it with no issues, I know, gross. Tonight, he ate the fries and 2 bites of his burger, which had the bun put on upside down, and quit eating because it had no flavor at all. I have tried and tried with you all at Bigg Daddys but I will say this, I will never be back except maybe for a drink at the bar, it's kinda hard to mess up a vodka soda, hopefully I haven't spoken too soon. I do hope that things will change because we need more good places to eat around here. I will admit that the only reason we ended up at Bigg Daddys again after our previous bad experiences, was because Fenders was closed, I didn't want to drive to Clarkesville, I had Mexican food the 2 previous nights and I was really hoping that the food would be good, although I knew I was probably going to be disappointed again, and I was.
