Three years of expensive, and poor service. The winter package for 1k is a 99 point service .however after pick up they missed several items including specific item requested to be repaired. It's not my first disappointing service. So frustrated -when you are ready to use after the winter and get out and find the. Heater vent requested to be repairs broken still, the fan doesn't work, stains on the floor from some guys big foot and the bathroom was dirty after they did the royal flush.. they forgot to wash the rig too. I could go on but all you need to know is don't expect much from the service department- I don't! Frustrated as hell... it's a 2.5 hour drive to the place from home so can't just "bring it back" and I'm on a trip learning after spending 4k ( new tires) these things... URG! I will not be back... seeking a new airstream service company after Three years of dissatisfaction.

After numerous calls to the regional manager and the store manager we finally got some resolution to the problems we had. I reluctantly deleted that review and will now address the issues so far. The Good: It's a great showroom as you would expect. The sales person was informative about the product on hand. We left after a couple hours feeling pretty good. We discussed some follow up items with him with the understanding we would hear from him soon. And that's where it all falls apart... The Bad: Don't expect a call back from anyone, literally no one will call you back unless they think they're bagging a whale for a sale. Sales person (Brent) never once called back after this point unless we initiated some sort of contact. This should have been a sign considering most sales people in this position are vultures who relentlessly hound you. My guess is, these guys must be making so much in commissions they don't have a need to care about service, I'm not sure... With that out the way we decided to drink the kool aid and join the Airstream club. After signing all the paperwork and handing over the hefty down payment and discussing everything we wanted and need to pay extra for, Brent assured us everything would be taken care of and there would be no surprises. Boy were we wrong... The sales guy didn't bother to show up on delivery day, I find that odd. I've never had that happen before. The day we went to pick up the unit we are immediately hit with extra charges for items we wanted and talked about. Not that big of a deal, we just wanted to be prepared. Be up front and honest. The back door was damaged and needed to be repaired and all of the cargo nets on it were worn. We should have just left the unit there and went home, we knew better, but we were excited. Before we left the technician assured us that they would order a new door and replace the nets under warranty. We would also be getting a call the following week to set up an appointment to have to replaced. That sounded reasonable enough for us, so we left. Unfortunately as usual, we never received a call back, so we called them. Upon talking to them we were informed that we would then have to make multiple trips hours away back and forth from the dealership to deal with their repair issues. After numerous calls, texts, emails to discuss the problem with this I finally got ahold of the store manager, Kevin. When Kevin called, he proceeded to yell, talk down to me and act like a complete jerk. I had to put him in his place and tell him not to talk to me in a disrespectful tone and manner. After having a much better conversation a short time later, he agreed to come pick up the trailer and have it repaired in 7 to 10 days. I also explained to Kevin that we were leaving on a trip in 3 weeks. Time was imperative. Also didn't need to get done immediately, but he assured us that it would be taken care of. After 7 days we started making inquiries as to when it would be done. Again crickets. 10 days, more crickets. More calls, texts, emails. When I get ahold of the first person they explain they have no idea they even picked up my trailer or even started a repair. Also again promised a call back. Hours go by. Wife calls now. Long story short. They haven't even thought about repairing it yet!!! WTF Then the service person explained we were more than welcome to pick it back up on our dime. I'm so annoyed and angry... The story continues to another day... I will update accordingly Buyer beware!

I'm saddened to write this review as I had a great experience leading up until I got my Montana…read morehome. We are family of 5, who drove from Sacramento.. invested $60k into what we thought & were told was a great 5th wheel. We get it home and opened it up, and the refrigerator doesn't work. Per Reeds, "it works" because it turned on. However, the refrigerator will not get cold at all and the freezer is the temp of what a refrigerator should be. We left it on for 6 days to give it a chance, and still the same situation. I called them and spoke to David and he said he spoke to the owner and their tech & they will not do anything for us, aside from offering us to purchase an extended warranty. What a joke. You sold us something that is BROKEN. I cannot put food in there for my family. You should do better, and do right as a business and for a family, especially. The theater recliners don't work, and I was told that before we took it home.. so I appreciate the fact that they were at least honest about that. To top it off, our generator had enough oil to run it twice, we had to get oil. Yes, it's a used unit.. but GEEZE, have some pride in the units you sell. BEWARE.

We bought a fifth wheel from Reed's Trailer Sales and we had a very mixed experience…read more My husband and I were in the market for a trailer to live in with our little one as the California housing market isn't allowing us to purchase a traditional home. We found a fifth wheel that we were interested in and talked to a sales associate about checking it out. After putting down a $1,000 deposit, they held the trailer for us until the weekend when we could drive the 2 hours to the dealership to inspect it. They didn't have it hooked up to power or water, so we couldn't test anything to make sure it worked, and it was clear that the trailer hadn't been very thoroughly cleaned after the prior owner sold it. The employees didn't have a lot of details or knowledge about the trailer, but being naive about the whole process and in a hurry to purchase as our apartment lease was ending, my husband and I purchased the trailer. A week and half later, at our walkthrough, we noticed how dirty the trailer still was, including the FULL black and gray water tanks! Ew! How long had it been sitting with someone else's waste in it?! We also noticed new stains on the floor from when we initially viewed it. We took the trailer home despite the issues in hopes that we could clean it up and resolve some of our concerns. Unfortunately, the stains are permanent AND the trailer is too long for most parks to accommodate it. :( A few days after picking it up, and before we even stayed a single night in it, we inquired about exchanging the trailer for a smaller model on the lot that cost $100 more than the one we purchased. We offered to drive the trailer back (in better condition than we bought it as it was now noticeably cleaner) and still unused, and pay the difference as well as any applicable taxes and fees. However, we were told by Mr. Dan Reed, himself, that it would cost us an additional $11,000 because of registration fees AND depreciation on the trailer...what?! How could a used trailer depreciate after it was driven from the dealership to our driveway and after it was in MUCH cleaner condition than when it was sold to us?! He also claimed that the hefty price to exchange trailers was because the salesmen were already paid...which is anyone's guess as to how that applies? We feel like we were misled and a bit taken advantage of. As a young family trying to manage living in these difficult times and in this expensive state, we were hoping that Reed's Trailer Sales would have been a bit more understanding and accommodating. Since then, we've had to very thoroughly clean the mildew-filled washing machine, scrub the stainless steel oven handles which are somehow stained, and flush the black water tank 3 times during the single weekend that we've been able to use it. We've been able to make a couple improvements and overall, we feel this trailer is good value and a good investment, but we wish things could have turned out a bit differently.

Chris the owner is very knowledgeable and they have a great easy in and out facility. Chris worked with our schedule because we were going on a trip and needed the RV. This all started when we noticed a leak in our Outdoors RV. When we climbed up and found the crack in the roof, it looked like it had been previously patched. We had bought it new and never patched it. We had a roof warranty and extended coverage that was worthless for the repair. The roof warranty would send a new skin, and pay for only a small portion of the overall costs. The RV dealership was going to charge us about $15,000 for the repair and only about $3,000 was covered. The hours were overly inflated at the RV dealership. That is how we found NorCal RV Roof. Chris was up front and honest. He sold us on the FlexArmor roof. Why would we install the same roof material that was breaking down after 5 years. We were able to not only have a FlexArmor roof with lifetime transferrable warranty, we added a skylight and new solar panel for less that what the dealership was going to charge us. Our RV roof looks better than ever. I know now that if we ever buy a new RV we will look for FlexArmor.

I was told it cannot be repaired and James quoted me $2,400 for a new one. Charge was $280. There were greasy foot prints left on the carpeting inside the 5th wheel. I was suspicious as to the diagnose so I pulled the cover off the AC and found a disconnect wire in the control box. I plugged it in and AC worked fine. I asked 3x for a refund with no response. I will never go back.

I scheduled an appointment to bring my RV in at 10:00 a.m. When I arrived, there was no one present. I returned at 10:20 a.m., and an employee had just arrived. He had no knowledge of my appointment or the purpose of my visit. I left a parts brochure for the individual responsible for ordering parts, along with my name and phone number, and was told I would receive a call. I never received any follow-up. Two days later, I returned to retrieve my brochure. At that time, nothing had been done and no one was able to provide any information or assistance. The facility itself is extremely unprofessional. The yard was full of mud, and the office and parts department were located in a dirty trailer. During a previous visit, employees tracked mud into my RV and made no effort to clean it. Overall, this location appears disorganized and poorly managed. There was no communication, no accountability, and no respect for my time or property. Because we had already set up camp, we searched for a mobile RV service. We were blessed to reach Ian and Nor Cal Mobile RV Services. Ian was superb and able to replace our water pump without an issue! The very next day, we got locked in our RV due to a design issue with our TriMark 507 door latch. Ian was able to tell us over the phone what to do to get ourselves out of the RV. Ian and Nor Cal Mobile RV Services saved us twice in two days! Nor Cal Mobile RV Services is the absolute best!
