I get my nails done every 3 weeks religiously, I was desperate and needed to get them done today because I wouldn't have any time on the weekend. This place is less than a mile from my work and the reviews seemed ok enough. The place is nice, air conditioned the pedicure spa chairs are nice and comfortable they give you a welcome drink (which is why I give it 2 stars. I got the deluxe pedicure the lady Ana did a pretty good job I told her I wanted to cut down short but she cut shorter than expected. For my fill I had Chris, I just wanted French tip and to also cut down shorter, he filed my nails so hard he cut me twice the paint job is so bad looks like a 5 year old did it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not satisfied at all. I won't ever stray away from my normal nail salon again[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I give this Oceanside local 10 out of 10!! Came with my sister before a trip and this place did not disappoint. Walking in, I was greeted and I checked out the menu, and they fill out a small little menu sheet for your technician. Also, I think the nail salon has the reward system. I'll make sure to ask for details the next time I come. But I think that's very different and unique. Definitely keeps a customer coming back. As they seat you, they ask you if you would like a complimentary drink and that is amazing! Most places don't offer this. They definitely give you a first class service. The salon was busy, and the staff was wonderful and friendly. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, My technician was Heidi and she took her time, and left my nails looking shiny and beautiful. They had a matcha special pedicure and it was worth ! It was a luxury treatment with a detox for your feet that left my skin feeling amazing.. I'm definitely coming back

I've been here a few times now and have gone to Liam as my nail tech-he is an artist! I don't request anything too crazy and always get a gel mani. With all of the designs and colors that I've gotten so far (pictures from Pinterest and 1 design from their website), I've gotten nothing but compliments and he does make sure it's what you want! They do get super busy, so as a walk in-it could be a wait. I suggest making an appointment is easy! You can request from here on Yelp if you don't want to call-they are very responsive and I've been to come in on the day/time requested. The vibe is always chill, complimentary drinks from their drink menu; their services are very reasonable!!

I love coming to Noir for my nails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone is so friendly and the salon is clean and organized.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the welcome drinks and snacks available upon check out. So far all the technicians I've gone to have been very good and took their time. I never feel rushed & I always feel relaxed after each visit.

The place is nice, they have cleaning logs. Unfortunately work is a bit rushed. Too expensive for the quality received. They definitely overwork the staff and theyre about getting bodies in and out. I didn't notice the small details until i got home, but lines weren't clean and i had 3 fingers with white paint on them still. These pictures were taken the day after the appt. Very expensive for the quality that is given. The language barrier made it hard to communicate what you wanted. I asked for ombre chrome and she said French tip so i said okay yes French tip. On the other hand they offer u drinks which is cool. The mixed drinks definitely dont have a full shot of alcohol in it to note- probably less than a quarter tbh. Get the soda can if u want it to last throughout ur appt, limit 1 per customer.

I came in as my first time and it was splendid!! Philip did my matcha full package with all the works pedicure and it was AMAZING! I got my nails done on May 25th, in the late afternoon, it's now June 6th and today I had my 3rd nail fall off. They have fallen off since Wednesday, nails I paid $80 for should not be falling off during daily tasks a week later. Not only have 3 fallen off, 2-3 other ones are already lifting and definitely will fall off soon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Disappointed to have spent $80 on these just to have them fall off barely a week later.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (They popped off, didn't even do anything to even remotely make them fall off)

Last time I was here, they were still "happiness nails" but they have since revamped the entire salon. I got a gel pedicure and had some old acrylic taken off my nails and Lynn was great. I got the basic pedicure that time but will definitely go bigger next time. Lynn was very patient taking off my acrylic. You don't just soak in a bowl of acetone, they add a hot towel underneath so your hands don't get cold. :) read more

This is my second time having a mani-pedi at this establishment. The first my pedi with Rose was painful. She was rough and didn't listen. I received an awesome mani with Liam. My second time I received a pedi from Lyn she was much better and she listened. I received a nice mani from Brian. Both were professional. I will try again and see what happens. read more

I usually wait to do reviews but Ally was just too sweet and did an amazing job on my nails! I also went to steven before and he did a great job on my nails as well and they lasted a pretty long time. Honestly everyone here is sweet. Would not recommend. Nail techs are pushy and try to up-sale. I nicely told the tech and pointed on the menu they give you I'd like a regular pedicure. I've come here twice and don't plan on a third time. First time they were new and had just opened up. This time still pushy and when they gave me a menu for a free drink I pointed at and said I'd sprite. Nail tech tells the people who the drinks something else .. it ends up being wine. I don't drink, I haven't for 7 years. read more

This is my first time at this salon- I walked in and asked for a pedicure, full set with acrylic. I had the pleasure of having Chrissy as my tech and she was SO sweet and very professional. She answered every question I had and was VERY patient with me considering I was indecisive with the length of my nails.. I walked in for a pedicure and they got me seated with right away. Henry was my nail tech and he was awesome! He knows what he's doing and gave me just what I asked for while asking for my approval before sealing my nails- a, white, French tips, gel pedicure. The girl who did the wax was SO COOL but she needs to learn some boundaries on what areas to touch when trimming & waxing but it's the owner who makes this a complete nightmare. AVOID this place at ALL COST.

I had a very frustrating experience at this nail salon. First, I showed the technician a reference picture of what I wanted. Instead of communicating with me properly, she started speaking in Vietnamese and walked away in the middle of the service without explanation. I was left confused and uncomfortable. Then another technician named Brian took over. I clearly explained again what I wanted, but he did something completely different. The work was messy, uneven, and lacked basic cleanliness. The tools and workspace did not look sanitary. What made it worse was the time. I sat there for almost two hours, and barely any real progress was made. I was exhausted and extremely uncomfortable. There was no proper shaping, no color applied, and the nail design looked rushed and poorly done. At that point, I had to stop the service because I was not satisfied at all. I expect professionalism, communication, and basic hygiene from a nail salon -- unfortunately, this place did not deliver any of that. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience. I go to pay the guy behind the cashier. He doesn't speak English. He want me to pay $105 for service I didn't take and they let me set more than two hours for very bad nails and you know guys it's valentine after tomorrow we work hard we don't have time like you know how we run to the nail salon. If we have one hour time I said for him, I'm not gonna pay for my nails because I didn't take whatever I want. I just gonna pay half of the price and I'm gonna pay for my pedicure. He don't want you wanna argue with me and my baby home with his dad he has to go to his work and he want to take from my time a lot. I don't have time I have to go and they already delete me set more than two hours. I said what is your manager? He doesn't speak English so I said OK I go out because I need to smell a clear air. He follow me with his team like all his Vietnam team. They think I'm gonna run. I'm not gonna be the whatever they ask. We are in California. We're not in Vietnam. We are American. We're not back home we are here in America Bay for the service we take. We're not hungry for money and tips not angry for customer plus if we got a bless to serve people we need to serve people very good very well very nice very friendly not run next to your customer and say hey we're gonna call the police for you if you're not gonna be excuse me excuse me it's not my first time there. I did my nails a lot there and they know me and I know them very well, but they don't know how to do whatever I ask it's OK you guys can say it's OK we can do it for you. She said we don't have the color. She said we don't have the whatever and then he said I'm gonna do your nails and then like a lot of technician came to me like for what for nails and then they ask about tips. Excuse me you guys only hungry and I will never go back there and they call the police and I called the police too and I pay whatever I have to pay because it's not about the money. It's about the communication your way you have to teach your customer very good not to force them to buy a drink to buy cola to buy alcohol or to buy chips. OK I'm not there to eat. I'm there too do my nails only but you guys force us to buy stuff we don't need it you guys drunk too I saw you drinking and working good job and playing with your customer and please. If the owner see this complain we are in America. We don't need your technician to speak Vietnam when we are dead for me. I will never go back. I will never go back there. I will never go back there because your staff called the police for your customer. You know this is what like this is very very very bad for you. Bless bless we don't need them to speak, Vietnam. I really wanted to love this nail salon, but my experiences haven't matched the hype. I've noticed that many of the good reviews seem to come from clients who book specific nail techs in advance. I've gone twice as a walk-in, and both times were disappointing. The first time, I asked for tortoise shell nails. The technician said he could do something similar, but I ended up leaving with cheetah print instead. The second time, I requested a pastel polish, but it was applied so thin that it looked almost clear. Even after multiple coats, the color didn't resemble the swatch at all. I didn't think a simple polish could go wrong, but when the result looks nothing like what you asked for, it's frustrating. It honestly made me wonder if the polish is diluted, because the lack of pigment didn't make sense. Overall, I feel like maybe only some of the nail techs are experienced, while others are not. Unfortunately, I must have been assigned less experienced techs both times, and it left a bad impression. Because of that, I wouldn't return. If you're looking for a true nail spa experience, this might not be the place. read more

I had the worst experience here. I told the lady I wanted my toes done. I got French tips and my two big toes were supposed to be acrylic. That's what I paid for. She never added a tip and did a very thin coat of acrylic on my big toes so within a day they chipped in the corners of my toenails broke off. I went to go get them fixed. They said I could get them fixed for free. Well when I got there and the service was done they charged me $10 after they told me the service would be free.
