Noire Nails Bar is awesome! A friend and I came here on a whim after going to Starbucks in the same plaza. We both had manicures and pedicures and were able to get it done without a wait. I had a UV gel manicure and my friend got powder, then we both go regular manicures. Everyone in the salon was so nice and accommodating. They have a wide range of color selections/designs and at reasonable prices. The manicure itself was fantastic (see pictures). It is a new salon so the inside decor is spotless and chic. The massage chairs for the pedicures are all brand new. I'm so glad we found this new business and can't wait to go back when we're in town. read more

I've gone to this nail salon a couple times for Dip Nails, something I get all the time, and every time I go to this salon, my nails crack and look terrible within a couple days. My normal salon that I go to was closed and I needed to get my nails done in a pinch, but for $45, my nails never last more than a week. Which normally when done correctly, my dip lasts for 3-4 weeks. This place is good when you're in a rush, but anytime I've gone, my nails have to be redone or I go back for a touch up. read more

This place charges way too much money for the poor quality they put out. I go to Wells Fargo and they're never busy so I decided to get a manicure for my birthday. I asked her not to use a drill, she was irritated and she said I needed to do dip if I wanted strong nails. Whatever, just please don't use a drill. I asked her to cut my nails, not file, and she told me No. I cut them myself, she said she was too scared to file them, then wanted to put gel polish on top of my hands the way they were. There's still polish on my nails from the time before. Idk what's going on with this location. The one in Venice is great. read more

Very nice salon, all contemporary with modern fixtures and kept super clean. Extensive selection of colors with matching gel and regular nail polish. The music which is completely Asian is not tuned and skips and no one makes an attempt to fix it. Perhaps that's because the other 3 free technicians each had their Bluetooth ear pieces and were glued to their own phones. First visit had nail tech, Danny, who has been doing nails for a really long time and does a moderate job on basic gels. No designs, just paint. Nails looked okay. Second visit had nail tech, Annie, who doesn't speak English and clearly is learning how to properly paint nails. Had to request that she be instructed to actually cover my complete nails, she was leaving gaps on the sides and top. Really what's the point of getting your nails done if they look incomplete? This was a frustrating visit. The other frustration with this salon is that I did not see any prices listed and when I went the first time, I was told a gel manicure would be $25. Two weeks later, I go back and now I am charged for exactly the same gel manicure with same color $30. When I questioned the difference in pricing, I was told that is the price. Why $5 more? This truly disappointed me. Another pet peeve is when techs use their own nails to wipe polish that went over my cuticle or side, instead of using the stick with alcohol to wipe. I came here about 2 weeks ago. Found them here on yelp and saw they had decent reviews. First impression was how clean they kept the salon and Everyone was nice, only Reasons why i give them 3 stars. Paint job on my nails... not very impressed. I picked a neutral light color and to be fair light colors can be difficult to work with but despite that, i see that the paint was uneven, several streaks. Overall not into it at all. My nail tech started filing down my nails into the shape she thought was appropriate. I had to stop her and tell her i like my nails squared. I watched her attempt to file my nails in a square shape but i felt like i had to jump in and file them myself, so i did. My pedicure was also very badly painted, i had to ask her to add another coat because it just didnt look even. I hate to ask, i wish nails techs took pride in their work and correct something they know doesnt look right without the customer having to ask. At least thats what i look for in a great nail tech. Clean and sanitary salon, but as one reviewer put it - "DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. These nail techs don't know what they're doing." I gave them 2 stars b/c it was clean and nicely decorated. But as we all know, the experience you have at a nail salon is mostly based on how well your nail tech knows their craft and provides quality service. I had a pretty pricey pedicure. Besides not getting the water temp. correct, I was never offered a beverage, but others were and it was HOT in there. She did a 1/2 a** job on my cuticles, and barley got what could be considered a massage. She just rubbed her hands over my legs and a little on my feet for about 5 minutes. I didn't get my hot towel rub down either. The checkout was confusing and the receptionist, while not rude, wasn't friendly. I was charged $35.00 but their website says $30 for the pedi I chose. I can get a better pedicure, welcome, service, and price at the salon in Walmart! read more

I really tried to give them a second chance and do not like giving bad reviews. First visit a few weeks ago was a walk in with four of us and they said they could accomodate. However, they failed to tell us we would not be getting nails done at same time. Knowing there may have been some confusion, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Giving them a second chance, I came back with just my daughter a few weeks later. This time I specifically asked if they could accomodate two of us at the same time. Well guess what? They didn't. In fact they started my daughter first who did not have polish to remove and did not want polish after the pedicure. I had gel.polish on which takes time to remove. Common sense is to start with person whose pedicure will take longer. Right? Advice to salon, if you cannot accomodate more then one walk in at a time, BE HONEST. Do not fib to just get the business. Needless to say I never got my pedicure, only my daughter did (who btw only went for me). With this said they never offered a discount or even apologized. Perhaps due to the location they figure they will always keep busy and don't need to offer good or polite service. read more

Easily the worst powder gel manicure I've ever gotten. I just moved from NYC where it's $10 cheaper and they have a 10 day warrantee. After 3 days and $40 later my nails were chipped. We use the salon for eyebrow waxing as well and have always been very pleased. If you want a regular pedicure, you need to be upfront with them, as they do offer a wide range of nice upgrades that obviously cost more. I had a male and she had a female. They both took an hour to just file our nails to the shape and they still did not come out good looking. It was my daughter's first boy/girl dance for Homecoming 2021. I made an appointment for her but could not be there with her. She was so disappointed with the job!! She had one of the men doing her nails, not sure his name, and he did a horrendous job! He even cut her finger while sanding down the nails!! So it was my first and last visit to this salon. Walked in - very clean - no other customers in there - but i had my fingers crossed - i asked for a pedicure and was immediately asked do you want an upgrade for 10.00 more ( they should stop this practice - it really annoys the customer ) we can all read and if we want something fancier than the basic pedicure we will let them know - so i sat down and the women was very nice and did an excellent job - but then when i got to the front desk to pay - what i thought was a 30.00 pedicure - turned into a 35.00 pedicure and would you like to know why? This place is great. Love Michelle and her husband. Both very skilled and Michelle does amazing on designs. On the other hand, I would not recommend Vicky. She does not do the shape you request and does not shape it well either. She can be too rough and cannot do designs. You give her a design and she does something completely different. It might be a language barrier but I'm guessing most of her clients are english speaking so it is a lot harder to be understanding. She takes hours to do acrylics and they always end up looking less than subpar. Besides this, the whole place is amazing. Great color selection, clean workspace. read more

Went to this new salon and they have no costumer service! Came in on a fri afternoon, not very busy and waited for awhile. Another customer came in and they sat them right away without an appt then said I can come back if I wanted because they didn't have anyone for just a gel polish!
