First time coming here and I was very pleased. Taylor did my gel mani & pedi. She really took her time with my cuticles which I very much appreciated. I feel like so many people rush. I came in on a Wednesday afternoon & there was only one other girl inside (she was getting an intricate design done on her nails by a gentleman and they looked great!). I tried this salon out twice. The first time I got a mani/pedi. The place was empty other than one other customer, and the service was decent enough to try another pedi a few weeks later. Unfortunately that experience was the one that's convinced me to find a new place. First off, I made an appointment and then waited for 10 minutes in a fairly empty salon before I asked if I could at least wait in a massage chair (the chair is half the reason we get pedis anyway, LOL). I helped myself to a chair and got settled. I waited another 20 minutes before my appointment actually started. The lady next to me got her pedi finished and enjoyed a cup of wine while she got her service. I was never offered so much as water. When it was my turn, I was given the hard up-sell from the start. I was told "you don't want that one (the basic pedi), it has nothing! Nothing extra with that one!" about 3 times while I continued to say yes, I understand, that's what I want. From then on, I was pushed to get a manicure which I politely refused at least twice. I was told that the color I brought in with me was "not good color, too light, you want better color?" but again, I said no, I'm fine with the color I chose. And when the pedi was over, the sandals I wore in were "not good for pedicure" so she put the disposable sandals on me and walked me to the drying table (without my OPI that I brought in). I turned on the fans myself and sat there for a few minutes. When I decided to go, the man in charge told some other guy sitting around to finish my service by taking payment. The guy had to be told twice, and then he got up to help. While the pedicure looked nice, I will not take my money back to a place that made me feel uncomfortable that many times in one sitting. There are too many other nail salons in the area. Time to find a better one! read more

Let me paint you a picture of my honest experience. I made a reservation for pedicure, underarm and leg wax and I arrive on time even a few minutes before, they were under staffed and should have mentioned on the phone that they are full or it may be a wait, the woman who seems to be in charge was doing TWO OTHER girls nails while filing the toe nails of another because the older woman (who I will definitely talk about in a second) seemed to not know what to do with that clients pedicure request. I came on time and even a few minutes before the appointment scheduled. I was sat down and waited around 15 minutes with water that was not getting cold on my feet for the older woman to do my pedicure. Once she finally got to me, the pedicure process was fine. It was the wax that made this experience even worse than anyone could imagine. The older woman takes me to the room and not only did she miss hairs on my underarms, I had to continue to constantly show her where there was some hair, and I let that go. The legs was HORRID. She was not ripping the wax sheet off correctly and it made the process SO UTTERLY PAINFUL that my SKIN WAS RIPPED AS WELL. Then when she says she's done, there is so many patches of hair on my legs that it looks like a 6 year old did this to me. The woman in charge comes in to check on us (because we took over an HOUR) and I had to tell her that there were patches of hairs, and she has the audacity to tell me that it's because i shave my legs.... I WAX my legs, I had to tell her that this is a 40 dollars service that I will not pay for if my legs look like this, I even asked if this older woman has experience in waxing body or if this is her first time because it was HORRIBLE. She of course says she does. The woman in charge then begins to do the wax process AGAIN after oil has already been put on my legs, to try and take the missing hairs, MIND YOU she PLUGS IN the wax machine this time, she used a DIFFERENT WAX and she ripped the sheets CORRECTLY making it less painful. This process that shouldn't take more than 30-40 minutes took around an hour and a half or more, I had to STILL point out the areas where there was still hair. They didn't even offer a discount, instead she tries to offer to do full leg for 10 dollars more... what kind of customer service is this? Where in her right mind did she think I'd trust for them to do this service to me again and PAY for it?! I'm sure she saw the rips on my skin as well and didn't even apologize for the experience or the inconvenience this has caused. And then they leave a bunch of oil on my legs to the point where it stains clothes and car seats. I would NEVER recommend this place for waxing and if someone wants to WAIT 15-30 min to get a pedicure then by all means do it. But there are way better salons out there that don't treat their customers this way or people. Were they rude? No they weren't but I'm not here to make friends or pay for a friendship service. I'm here to give my honest review and experience to a BUSINESS as a customer who spent hard earned MONEY to relax and end up with wasted money and time and pain. I am so disappointed by Noire. I used to come here consistently to get dip manicures, but stopped because my manicures were chipping after 1 week. If you get dip, you know that's not how it should be! After a few months of not going, I decide to go to Noire to get my dip manicure removed (done at a different salon) because it was a convenient stop. I also decided to get a pedicure. I just wanted the classic pedicure but the woman told me that it wasn't available & I had to get one of the up charge pedicures. I thought that was really strange! The pedicure was rushed, but fine. I was annoyed that I paid an up charge for a subpar pedicure. Then she took my dip nails off & nicked my skin a few times with the drill- ouch!! In the picture you can see where she got my thumb. Ridiculously overpriced! I just went today to got my nails painted, just a gel nails polish with NO MANICURE! Got my nails shaped and had a matte top coat applied- that was $30! (Apparently a simple gel nail polish is $25+ matte top coat is additional $5). I could have done a whole manicure and hot towel hand massage done at a place down the road for that price. It was a $15 min job... do not recommend, save your money read more

Got a gel mani pedi. The quality is great. I just kind of felt like a nuisance while I was there. I went on a Wednesday around 1:30 so it wasn't busy. A man did my toes while a woman did my nails at the same time, which is totally fine I don't mind the efficiency. I just had very little interactions with the staff, and when the man doing my toes wanted me to move he just shoved my feet around instead of telling me what he needed me to do. Been to this establishment a few times. The first time a man did my pedicure (didn't catch his name). The other times a lady did my pedicure. Upon the second time I asked her name, she said Jenny. So she has done my pedicure the last three time. This day I walk in a lady greets me (not Jenny) and asks what I'd like to have done, I say a pedicure and ask if Jenny is available and the lady responds yes. I say ok, I'm a run to the car and get my flip flops. When I return the lady says to me Jenny only does nails but when I walk in I see Jenny doing feet. I'm confused. I've been to Noire nail bar a total of 4 times. Every time has been with Nathan and I have absolutely loved it! Until today, when i met jenni who was suppose to do a fill in. It was the worst experience I've had in a very long time. Never did she ask what I want, only if I wanted them cut down, which I replied very little which she then processed to cut half the length I paid for. Then she shaped them without asking what shape (I always have square). I looked down after the first hand was done and she had done ballerina shaped. While working on the next hand she asked if I liked it which I told her I always do square so if she could fix it. She then told me she did the shape she wanted because it looked more natural, when I asked again she made them even shorter to try it fix it, which looked even worse since the sides where tapered. She then told me square doesn't look natural or good on my hands. I then asked if there was a way to fix it since all the length and shape was ruined. She got mad and started saying I didn't say anything about the shape so she didn't know. SHe then piled on acrylic and there where half an inch think, at this point I asked to have them removed and I would come back. (After waiting 20 mins for my apt, and an hour into her working) She began using the drill to remove some of the acrylic and the drill slipped causing her to cut into my finger. She then said nothing when I asked to leave. I will never go back again, if I ever do it will only be to see nathen! read more

Spent 3.5 hours here only to leave with my nails looking exactly how I came, getting yelled at by the staff, and out $40. Came in, selected a nice nude SNS shade, only for the tech to come out with a jar of coral dip powder. I expressed to him at that point specifically that it seemed awfully dark and not like the swatch. He told me to let him do my nails, as buffing SNS and applying a gel top coat often changes the color in the end. Throughout the service, I mentioned an additional 4 times that I really didn't think the color was right and he insisted I wait for the end result. The color never lightened--and I expressed that I was not happy. He suggested 3 things. 1) Painting over the coral with a nude gel polish (he actually tried this with two different nudes; the coral was too bright and showed through both times), 2) Doing another SNS dip on top of the coral with a white shade to lighten it (figured coral + white equals a strange layered dip look?) or 3) He suggested choosing a darker color to go on top to hide the coral (mentioning twice at that point that he didn't think soaking off or drilling down was a feasible option). I just decided to insist, despite what he said, to just soak off the color and start again with a different nude and he seemed angry and told me I could come back tomorrow if I wanted to do that. He evidently and eventually did agree to soak off my nails as he brought me a bowl of acetone and cotton balls, but at the register his wife (I'm assuming the owner?) asked me for $60 (for SNS?! Very overpriced, but that's besides the point). Leaving with absolutely nothing on my nails, I asked why I was being charged, to which she started berating me, stating I should've said something earlier to her husband if I didn't like it, I shouldn't have allowed him to continue for so long, I received a service without paying for it, and that his time and product was wasted on me. Though, I will say--he may have been able to conserve some of his time had he not gotten up at several points throughout the service to take random pictures of the salon or walk away. Nevertheless, she went to talk to her husband and came back to me waving her arms in the air to say "I don't know what to tell you. I really don't. I'm hearing two different sides of the story." Eventually she angrily slammed her things on the counter and after a brief conversation, she asked that I pay $30. Not wanting to deal with it any more, I agreed--and then she asked me to tip the tech for his time. Ended up leaving with $40 less in my pocket, having been yelled at, and my nails looking like this. They offered for me to come back the next day for a new set, but I won't be returning here ever again. read more

Beautiful salon and they respected my request for OPI colors only. They were super fast at getting the water ready and everything was extremely clean! The pedicure was great but the polish job could be a little better. Thankfully no one gets too close to my feet but it looks fine from a far. They were a little pressuring about getting a mani too but I told them each time that I'm waiting until closer to a trip to get them done (which is true). Great salon and I highly recommend! I got a pedicure and manicure and they turned out well, I am leaving this three star review because since they were short staffed things were rushed and I don't feel like I got the best manicure/pedicure that they were able to provide. There were also some issues finding the colors I picked from the color wheels. I went to this salon for a gel manicure and I am shocked at what I got. First off, they did not remove my old polish, just buffed over it leaving small areas still covered in old polish. Following that, there were no products used on my cuticles before they cut them and no cleaning of the nail before applying the fresh polish. So in the end result, there are portions where the old polish can be seen through the new polish, and there are bumps in the new polish from the nail dust because the nail was not properly cleaned before new polish was painted on the nail. On top of that, there were portions of skin around my nail plastered with dried gel polish because it wasn't wiped off before it was cured in the UV light. I feel like I could've done a better job painting my nails on my own and saving my money. read more
