It was a beautiful outdoor setting. They had a separate place for wine tastings and they had an outdoor building that you could order food and wine and sit outside in the beautiful scenery. Outside they had animals Goats, chickens pigs that you could go and look at. They also had Games set up on the lawn, it was a family friendly place or families or friends could congregate and enjoy a beautiful afternoon. We poked around a little and saw that they have a great venue for hosting weddings or quinces or whatever it is you were celebrating . We ordered the sampler platter, which was basically a charcuterie board. Cheese and meat and crackers. It was very good. I also had a sangria that was wonderful and we ordered a frozen lemonade. You kind of stand in line to order your wine and food and they give you a buzzer and a little fan for your table. The people behind the counter were nice and friendly and very efficient. I can't wait to go back and show my friends and spend a little more time and do some wine tasting . This place is nestled far back off of the main highway in a more rural area . There's also an outdoor area with connect four and other games for the underaged teenagers to pass the time. The actual bar in which they serve the wine is casual and warm and you can get affordable wine flights with four different wines for 15 dollars (pretty affordable!). The service is nice and the workers are hospitable. The actual wine and drinking experience was mixed though. I'm not a fan of dry wines so I opted for the sweet white wines, sparkling, and rosé. I found the mango tango white wine to be way too sweet and almost syruppy in texture. The muscat rosé also leaned a bit too sweet. My favorite was the dry forbidden sparkling wine which was a nice balance of acidity and sweetness with nice carbonation. The riesling was fine too but I had better. Since there wasn't enough space for a group of 15-20 people, we sat in the barn which got colder as the day passed. Some of us got the charcuterie board which I thought was decent but not as great as some others that I had. I think if you're nearby and you want some affordable wine, Enchanted Vine is great. I just wouldn't go out of my way to make the trek here.

The photo ops was what I really appreciate it because my girls are growing so fast. The fall colors were gorgeous! As a traveler from out of state accompanied by two trained service dogs, I was shocked by the…read moretreatment we received at Winary Bistro. The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.

This place is divided into two sections, one section is the store where you can buy various snack items, oils, and souvenirs. The other section has the bar, here you can enjoy various items such as their charcuterie board which is delicious or buy some bottles of wine to-go or to enjoy in store. The service is always friendly and they do have various specials/deals on certain days of the week. Although this place is a lot smaller than the one in ruidoso, it's still a very enjoyable place to stop by and share a bottle of wine with your favorite friend/relatives.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit ended on a very disappointing note. Carol, the owner, handled a situation in a way that felt extremely rude and one-sided. It seemed like our experience as paying, longtime customers was overlooked in an effort to accommodate others. We parked in the very nice parking lot that is provided behind the businesses and across from the large sign that announces the name of the store and that they have olive oils and balsamic vinegars. The sign is right next to a long set of wooden steps. We are 75 and 81 years old. We made our way up the steps, knocked on the door and were met by what I later found out was the owner. We were told that we would have to go back down the stairs and go around to front. I asked two more times if we could come in the back since we had already climbed the stairs. I actually was just a bit shocked at her attitude as she got more "haughty" each time I ask. Needless to say, we walked down the stairs, got into our vehicle and did not darken her doorway. It gets better! A few days later, after relaying our experience to several other friends and family I called the store, gave my list of oils and vinegars that I had taken with me and asked if she could give me the the total price of all of them. She then told me to go online and look them up myself.....at that point I told her that I was one of the two people she wouldn't "allow" to enter her shop on Friday. I suggested that she perhaps add "Entrance in Front" to her sign, to which she said that no one else has ever tried to enter through the back. She said again that she did not "Allow" anyone to come in the back. Worse experience ever! it is my intention to tell as many people as I can what kind of person owns that shop. She was just incredibly rude and not someone I care to do business with!
