Be sure to get you a bread plate during your tasting!
    Jaime N.

While walking the Ruidoso Strip aka downtown we had to come into Noisy Water for a tasting! $10 for 4 samples. I'm a sweet white type of gal and they had a very tasty selection. We ordered ourselves a plate of bread and it was served with a delicious oil and balsamic vinegar mix. We grabbed a few samples of oils and they were so delicious! David was assisting us for our tasting and his personality was just so great and humor was too funny! Thanks for a fun afternoon! P.S. Be careful because I spent over $100 on oils and seasonings. LOL If you're a Jo Mamma wine fan those wines are not sold in this particular location but a few doors down.

    Wine tasting on the patio!

We had the best time visiting this winery! Both of our servers David and Lola went above and beyond. They were friendly, knowledge about the wine and offered great suggestions. The wine tasting for $10 per person can't be beat! There are so many selections and great deals if you buy any bottles. I would recommend anyone coming to Ruidoso to check out this great location!

We parked in the very nice parking lot that is provided behind the businesses and across from the large sign that announces the name of the store and that they have olive oils and balsamic vinegars. The sign is right next to a long set of wooden steps. We are 75 and 81 years old. We made our way up the steps, knocked on the door and were met by what I later found out was the owner. We were told that we would have to go back down the stairs and go around to front. I asked two more times if we could come in the back since we had already climbed the stairs. I actually was just a bit shocked at her attitude as she got more "haughty" each time I ask. Needless to say, we walked down the stairs, got into our vehicle and did not darken her doorway. It gets better! A few days later, after relaying our experience to several other friends and family I called the store, gave my list of oils and vinegars that I had taken with me and asked if she could give me the the total price of all of them. She then told me to go online and look them up myself.....at that point I told her that I was one of the two people she wouldn't "allow" to enter her shop on Friday. I suggested that she perhaps add "Entrance in Front" to her sign, to which she said that no one else has ever tried to enter through the back. She said again that she did not "Allow" anyone to come in the back. Worse experience ever! it is my intention to tell as many people as I can what kind of person owns that shop. She was just incredibly rude and not someone I care to do business with!

Easy, right? Well... not quite. The store itself is quaint and charming, filled with all kinds of temptations. Pistachios in every form, chocolates, wines, and gift options that make you rethink your original plan. You can taste a little of everything, which is both delightful and dangerous. Then we stepped out onto the patio with our pistachio ice cream, and wow... completely unexpected. The space is gorgeous. Calm, open, and the kind of place that makes you slow down without even trying. Honestly, if I lived nearby, I'd be planning celebrations here without a second thought. Somewhere between the views and the tasting, I tried their pistachio rosé. And yes, I had the same reaction, "wait... what?" But it worked. Different, pleasant, and surprisingly good. Good enough that I completely abandoned my pistachio gift plan and walked out with several bottles instead. A much more unique surprise. The staff were warm and welcoming, adding to the whole experience. No rush, no pressure, just genuine friendliness. We didn't have as much time as I would have liked, and that's probably the only downside. This is the kind of place where you want to linger longer, taste more, and just enjoy the moment. Came for pistachios. Left with wine and zero regrets.

They were out of the wine my friend requested and did not have cranberry juice for a cran/soda for me. Not off to a good start. The bread was mediocre at best. And the server didn't offer to do olive oil/red wine mix for us. I was craving something fresh so I ordered a Caprese salad to start. There was nothing great about it. The mozzarella was thick and dense. I also ordered a garden salad and lasagna. The garden salad smelled and tasted like dirt - like it had not been washed - that got pushed to the side and uneaten. The lasagna - ugggggg - how do you screw up lasagna???? There were gobs of ricotta cheese on top of the dish - literally piles of cheese- and not in a good way. I scraped most of it off and set it aside. The dish itself was bland and greasy. Honestly, Stouffers makes better lasagna - truth. We were offered dessert but passed. Ben and Jerry's was a safer bet. Overall I'd rate this meal a 2 out of 10 - they had Diet Coke so that was a win.

And this place delivers with a quiet kind of confidence. The pizza? A well-balanced composition crust with just the right snap, sauce that doesn't overreach, and toppings that know their role. The pasta leans into comfort, rich without being overbearing, the kind of dish that doesn't need reinvention to win you over. It's familiar but executed with care. My oldest daughter and I were quickly seated on April 16, 2026, for lunch before her doctor's appointment. 1) the wait staff was short-handed and did NOT work efficiently. They took a long while to get requested items to us. 2) the food lacked flavor particularly with my eggplant parmigiana ($9.95 on lunch specials!). 3) the tea was exceedingly cloudy and did not taste good. 4) we were there for nearly an hour before our check was brought and did not get to try dessert! But this was an affordable restaurant that serves beer and wine. They offered excellent table bread - my daughter wouldn't stop pigging out on it. Lol. The lunch specials were a good deal. I liked their pasta e fagioli soup. Not my favorite since the pasta was so incredibly mushy, but still good. There are other places I want to dine at before trying this place out again, but I will return someday.
