What a lovely little Asian food cafe ! Caveings Corners is a beautiful Asian restaurant with warm lighting and plenty of natural sunlight streaming in from all directions; perfect for a cozy daytime visit. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a charming cat statue at the entrance, which instantly sets a fun and welcoming tone. We ordered the korean style Short Ribs and Pad Thai Noodles. Let me just say the short ribs were absolutely delicious. Perfectly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Honestly, I kept repeating how good they were no notes, just a flawless, traditional short ribs experience. The Pad Thai was okay at first, with a smaller portion than expected. We asked for a remake, and the second portion was much better. It was still on the lighter side, but the flavors were spot on authentic and satisfying. A squeeze of lemon elevated the dish beautifully! The space was clean and nicely maintained. There were a few flies, but the staff explained it was due to a recent wedding event that had kept the doors open. And honestly, I could see why someone would choose this venue for an intimate wedding the surroundings are beautiful, with lovely outdoor seats that add to the experience. It's casual, but the atmosphere has something special while surrounded by nature. I'd say this place is perfect for a daytime visit, especially to enjoy the sunshine and soak in the peaceful ambiance of the Texas Corners area. The staff were excellent, going above and beyond to explain the menu and give us thoughtful recommendations. There's even a cute corner fridge where you can grab drinks, ice cream and desserts , a nod to the restaurant's origin as part of an Asian grocery store. Now, it's blossomed into its own standalone restaurant branch, and it really shows in the care they put into everything. I'll definitely be coming back. I loved the vibes, the natural light, and of course the amazing food. Next time, I'm definitely trying their bubble tea. It looked so good, and almost every table around us had one!

We found this place by accident. It is tucked away in Texas Corners but worth the extra minute to find it. The owner or manager lady has a great sense of humor and is very happy to guide you in your selections. I tried soju for the first time. (Mostly neutral spirit that is often flavored) I ordered pineapple and it is served in 375 ml bottles! Fortunately they can tape the bottle up if you can't drink it all there so you can enjoy the rest at home. My husband got the mango sake colada and loved it. Main entrees were Thai basil stir fry with shrimp and chicken combo and the duck breast served over noodles (pho). Both dishes were very good. Basil stir fry was a bit salty. Duck was tender and broth was delicious! They had a lot of yummy desserts but we didn't have any room. I would not hesitate to return if I lived in the area.

We dropped here one night since we already ate too many Culver's and Chick-fil-A. This was a nice break with great selection of ramen and buns. It is inside pacific rim grocery store. The restaurant space is nice and large. We got 2 different ramen bowls and barbecue pork buns with two large boba drinks. Overall price over $50 but quality was pretty good. Service was self serve when your buzzer rings. Grocery store was pretty cool and enjoyed browsing while our food was getting ready.

Stopped by Cravings Corners for lunch and had a good experience overall! We started with the Summer Rolls with Shrimp, which were very fresh and a great light appetizer. For my main dish, I had the Pad Thai--it was tasty, though not the best I've ever had, although the portion size was huge. My friend ordered the Beef Bulgogi Bao Buns and felt the same--good, but not the best she's tried. The restaurant itself was very clean, which I always appreciate. Service was friendly, and the menu had a nice variety of options. While the food didn't completely blow me away, it was still a solid meal, and I'd come back to try more dishes!

Ambience & Atmosphere: - First impression was great. - Both interior and exterior were very nice, clean, colorful, and well-organized* in a quiet nice neighborhood. - Plenty of seating. Overall, the place felt neat and welcoming. Food Quality: Ordered two entrees: - Galbi (lamb meat ribs) - Very Delicious and came with mild, tasty kimchi and vegetables. - Pad Thai with beef - Good, but nothing special. Overall, the food was enjoyable. Service: - Service was very good but slight delay in experience; could use a bit of improvement. Pricing: - Reasonable. - Two entrees for around $50, which felt fair for the quality. Overall Experience - Really nice first visit. - Would definitely come again. - Recommended for Thai food lovers. Fun Fact: The word (Galbi) in Arabic means (My Heart), and yes! It was delicious to the level that I would say ( Aaah Galbi!)

Food was fresh and hot. Had an awesome dessert selection. Service was a little slow to get cashed out, but I believe it was due to our host training.

Tonkatsu Ramen, Roasted Oolong boba tea with Tapioca Pearls

First time at Cravings Corners as someone who loves their other location, Cravings Deli, was amazing. Servers were polite and responsive, and the wait was short. Ambiance here is amazing, very cozy while not feeling like you're bumping shoulders with other guests. And not to mention the food! The Tonkatsu Ramen and Roasted Oolong boba tea were both stellar, and I'll definitely be back again for more!

The Inari Bombs were absolutely delicious! Each bite felt like a mini celebration in my mouth. I'll definitely be ordering these again and highly recommend giving them a try!

Great quality food for affordable price. Consistent and hospitable serving staff. Great lunch…read moredowntown Kalamazoo walking distance of hotel and mall.

Such a cool spot!…read more We visited Toba on a recent Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by this cute little spot! The menu is lengthy with so many options to choose from! We were a little overwhelmed by the choices at first, but we quickly decided to try several different things to get a better idea of the flavors and what we might like best! We started with a house salad, which was so delicious! Fresh, yummy ingredients with a truly delightful ginger dressing! Hugh flavor! Next we ordered the Gyoza - this dish was AMAZING! The dumplings were perfectly cooked and served with a delicious traditional dipping sauce. Also included was a garnish slaw with a spicy mayo dressing - this complimented the dish SO well. This dish was honestly our favorite part of our entire visit and we highly recommend!! Of course we had to try a sushi burrito which is possibly their most unique offering! I've never heard of sushi in a burrito form before Toba, what a great idea!! It's basically a giant, handheld, wrapped up piece of sushi! We chose the Toba Burrito with steamed shrimp, shrimp tempura, spicy crab salad, avocado, tempura flakes, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. This was a delicious combination! Because it's in a burrito the ingredients are thicker compared to sushi, and you can taste each addition better, but my husband and I both agreed that while this was a very fun item to try, we prefer the regular sushi rolls to the burrito. Smaller bites of each combo of flavors is our preference. :) We also got a K-zoo sushi roll which was delicious but not as chilled as I expected it to be. These pieces were large, (bigger than a one bite piece of sushi) but packed with quality, fresh ingredients with really great flavors!! My husband and I both ordered a cup of tea, both were delicious and perfect for a cloudy, rainy day!! There are several options to choose from, we asked our waiter for further explanation and recommendations. :) There are so many more options to try at Toba - we will definitely be back to try more things, the ramen for one! :) The service at Toba was excellent! Our server was very attentive and helpful! Our order arrived very quickly and in perfect stages since we tried so many different things! The atmosphere is modern and seating is consolidated to a fairly small area. We were seated in the cutest front booth, right in the window. Best seat in the house, I'd say! Kalamazoo is beaming with great foodie spots! Toba is a great addition to the downtown scene!! :)

600 is such a cute place for a lovely meal!…read more We have been multiple times but stopped in on a recent sunny afternoon for some lunch. 600 is so light and airy, we really love the atmosphere!! We had a really great waitress, I wish I would have gotten her name! She was doing the job of hostess and waitress to multiple tables, and doing it all very well! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad for our lunch entrees! Both were very good and presented very well! While the food is good and quality feels high - the price is also on the high side. For a sandwich and a salad, waters to drink, we spent over $50 for our lunch! Just something to be aware of! While we had time - the experience was not fast. Something to be aware of if needing a quick lunch. The restaurant was not overly busy but the wait was a little long to receive our order. I ordered a salmon salad - the menu nor the website specify if the salmon is wild caught or farmed. I would really love to know this information - the price would be much better reflected if it were indeed wild caught. :)

The service was on the slower side and could have used more attention to detail--coffee refills were missed, and we didn't have spoons to stir our coffee. That said, our server was kind and had a gentle, pleasant demeanor. The food overall was very good. Only one person in our group was disappointed--the chicken and waffles were described as dry, with the chicken coating lacking flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and the desserts were a standout; they were excellent and loved by all. One area that could use improvement is the upstairs bathroom. While it was well stocked with supplies, it needed cleaning. Clear signage for the upstairs restroom and perhaps a nice piece of artwork would also be welcome touches. Overall, a nice brunch experience with great desserts and room for a few improvements.
