My friends and I stopped in here the night before a race, and had a wonderful dining experience! The service was fast and friendly. They were really patient with all of our many questions! We each had a bowl and they were delicious. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Casual ambience we would definitely return here for a fresh poke bowl.
Was passing through the town and was recommended by a friend. The staff was so nice and even gave my kids Pokémon cards as kids toys. So adorable! I thought the bowls were lacking Protein. I feel like they could have put more fish in there. The fish was also a little fishy (from my option). Other than that we did takeout order and they were busy so a lot of people who live here seem to like it! There is indoor and outdoor seating

HOWEVER, the price did NOT match the quantity of food we received. A half cup of rice and nine tiny cubes of tuna should not cost $20, irregardless of inflation. As a four person family, our meal was over $100 and we only ordered bowls. Nothing else. If we had combined all four bowls into one, that amount of food would be what we had gotten from Nico's in Hawaii for the same price. If you're considering poke for lunch or dinner, I would highly recommend going somewhere else.
While on vacation in Savannah, I ate so damn many fried foods and things covered in cream sauces. Don't get wrong, they were delicious but at a certain point my body gave me an ultimatum and demanded something that hadn't seen the inside of a deep fryer. Nom Nom entered the chat. Craving something fresh and light, Nom Nom delivered. I ordered the Sunshine Bowl and was both satisfied and relieved to have fresh food but it was also delicious. It really hit the spot and gave me the fuel to keep on going. Friendly service, clean location and tasty eats!
Being from a big city, like New York City, I have a lot of options for different types of foods from around the world. So Hawaiian poke, it's something you can find very easily. I was happy that I was able to find a poke spot here in Savannah. Luckily, the quality of the food was very high and the service was impeccable. My only two comments that may not be so positive is the limited space inside of the restaurant, and the quantity of food that was given. If I were to build my own bowl that I could possibly change, but I just went with a quick option that they are used to making.
I believe I haven't written my review of Nom Nom yet, I absolutely love this place!!! I never have a bad meal here and the staff is so amazing! This is the perfect place to come grab a quick bite to eat! Everything on the menu is amazing, full of flavor and just overall wonderful! The area is so nice to sit outside and the inside is even cooler!
Nom Nom Poké Shop is another gem in the Starland District. It may be small, but it is mighty!!! Nom Nom is located on a corner off of Bull street. It's next to a real estate management company. And just a few doors down from Foxy Loxy. Parking can be found on the street depending on the time of day. Sometimes you can luck up & get a spot right in front. But generally parking on one of the side streets is a more realistic bet. The restaurant itself for indoor dining has just a few seats. And then some tables right outside too. I like to get my food to go. It's quick and easy. Let's talk about poké! Yes, to fresh fish! Yes, to fresh produce! Nom Nom Poké always has fresh food. I love it! They have many different bowl options. I've had a few. I have loved each of them. My favorite is their spicy tuna bowl. If you love spicy tuna rolls like I do this poké bowl is going to be your new fave. It comes with a seaweed salad & fried shallots for crunch. Plus the tuna is cut to perfection & not over dressed. So you can taste everything individually. Or if you're like me, mix everything together and enjoy! They have lots of unique and fun drink options too in a small refrigerator next to the counter. I love their kombucha flavors! But for non kombucha lovers there's lemonade, ginger ale, and a few other options. All made by small businesses. I love to see small businesses support other small businesses! The interior is a fun surfer Hawaiian vibe. They literally have a surf board on a wall! Along with wicker light fixtures & large glass windows so lots of natural light comes in. The bathroom is open & kept clean! Give Nom Nom Poké a try! You won't regret it!
Amazing poke spot in Savannah! Went for lunch during the week and they were packed. Service was great, large portions, nice indoor and outdoor seating area, not too loud, very clean too. The chili crisp bowl was great - I opted for all tuna. Great flavor and spice! My husband got their special bowl on the board, also all tuna, and it was light and refreshing. We were both stuffed. I'm from Hawaii so this isn't the normal poke for me that I know and love but it definitely hit the spot! read more

Great place for a light and delicious lunch! Not only were they fast with service, the prices were affordable, taste was amazing. The tuna and salmon were fresh, the beef was savory and delicious. The restaurant is small but very clean and neat, with some tables outside you can eat at. Will definitely go back :) read more

Nom Nom has officially changed my mind about Poke bowls! I am incredibly picky when it comes to raw foods and I honestly think these guys have the best tuna in the area. The flavors in this bowl are vibrant and you get generous portions of all parts for the price you pay. Check them out! read more

Such a cute little restaurant with delicious food! My friend is completely obsessed with Nom Nom Poke and wanted me to give it a try. Disclaimer: I'm a very picky eater! The restaurant is small, quaint and clean. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the build your own bowl with rice, marinated beef, pineapple salsa, crispy wonton, and tempura crunch with sesame ginger. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the sesame ginger - YUM! The portion size was decent - actually a lot more than I expected. I will definitely be back! read more

Out of the 26 countries I've been to at 22 years old, and the countless restaurants and meals I've had my entire life, this is the greatest food and restaurant I've ever been too. The atmosphere is exactly what I look for, small but somehow spacious at the same time, with wonderful outdoor seating for spring dinners under an umbrella, or inside in one of the two window booths on a cold windy afternoon. It's the perfect size with warm lighting and comfortable seating inside and out. Reading a book by yourself or meeting a large group of friends is both possible. After 30+ Poke bowels ordered over never once had to wait long for my food or had anything less than excellent service and quality food. The ladies taking my order are calm and very pleasant always greeting me and my girlfriend with a smile. With a small but easy to navigate menu I love trying new add ins for poke bowls or getting my usual build your own. And don't get my started on the sauces from gary Savannah made sauces. I don't eat a poke bowl anywhere else now with his sauces it's literally the greatest sauces ever and nom nom always has one of his This place is special to me and I look forward to eating here everytime I'm in Savannah. Soooo good! I got one of the signature bowls. It was called the Crispy Chili Baja Bowl and it did not disappoint. The sauce in it just took it to the next level. It had the perfect amount of spice. The ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I was fully satisfied with my meal here and will be back for sure! read more

It's a really cute little space, very nicely renovated and . . . calming, for lack of a better word. The staff are outgoing, friendly, and service is prompt. As to the food, overall pretty good. I'm very critical of poké, because I am rather familiar with Hawai'ian, Chamorro, and other Polynesian foodways and prepare a lot of Hawai'ian food at home. My boyfriend is Chamorro and says I have the highest standards for pan-Oceanic cuisines of anyone he's ever met. That disclaimer thus offered, overall their poké is pretty good. The tempura shrimp could be improved: the shrimp are a smooth breading and not a panko-crust and should be the latter in my opinion. Their fried wonton chips however are masterfully done and the bowls in general are just very good: they even have crushed macadamia nuts as a topping for several of them and the amount of salt is correct (more salty than you might expect, but this is typical when a soya-based sauce is only served on the side, as should be, and not over the bowl). They're been open mere weeks, so if anything they will only improve but are starting out in the best way. Very glad a good poké place has joined the ranks of Savannah restaurants. read more
A new exciting restaurant has opened its doors. It is bright, clean, and newly renovated. A good environment to use the raw ingredients in the variety of bowls on the menu. It serves the ingredients over a bed of rice in the tradition of poke. They have black rice option which is nutty like brown rice. Their menu is a fusion of Asian influence as each signature bowl has its own narrative and distinct flavor profile. I had the citrus salmon and it was served with edamame, cucumber, other vegetables. The yuzu brought a perfect brightness and the detail of using rock salt added another layer of texture. I appreciate how they add fried lemons, which I never had but was a welcome component. It has a subtle bitterness that brings all the other components to life. Plus it makes the bowl beautiful to look at. Upon my return, I had their ahi tuna which they have delivered daily. It was not a playful as my citrus salmon but still good. I had the spicy version, but it was super tame and though the crispy shallots are tasty it overpowered the fish. I would go with the non-crispy version. After returning several times, it has been consistently good. Service and the food brings a smile to all the customers. They have been out of sashimi several times. The owners have been present on all occassions and keep a tight ship. I love the attention to detail such as the brulee pineapple for the salsa. Since it has under ten tables, they have a good grasp on quality control. All their dishes are beautifully presented. They have appetizers for sharing such as the ahi tuna nachos. Specials have started to appear on top of the standard menu. There is also beef and tofu options for those who don't want seafood. There are about ten tables. The couple who run this new spot in Midtown is off to a great start. They are open from lunch until 9:30 PM. read more

Little restaurant but the vibes are pretty chill. Was hesitant on the food because I don't normally do raw tuna. The service was pretty quick the beef bowl was amazing. Was a little thrown off by the pineapple but the bowl kept getting better and better as it mixed and you added the various sauces that they provide. Great experience overall will comeback to try more exotic bowls read more
Great fast casual poke spot on Bull Street! We stopped here for lunch on our way to Hilton Head. We got the: - Build your own bowl (Half Salmon/Half Tuna, Half Rice/Half Greens, Crab Salad, Fried Onions, Masago, Carrots, Cucumbers) - Sesame Salmon Bowl - Ginger Ahi I thought the fish was fresh and the other ingredients were also fresh and good quality. They were decently portioned. They have a yellow sriracha sauce that you can add for an additional kick that I thought was really cool. Have never had yellow sriracha before! Ambience - Casual. You can wear athletic wear in there. Indoor and outdoor tables. Order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you, with drinks self serve in a fridge by the counter. I ordered a "build your own poke bowl" I was expecting to get a good amount and was disappointed with the amount I got I ended up getting a couple of tuna but VERY small p. For a drink, bowl and dessert it cost $20. I have been to a much nicer restaurant and got more for my buck. The service was good and so was the atmosphere but not the price. read more

For being a poke fanatic, Nom Nom Poke Shop was good but I've had better. The atmosphere here is chill and I was impressed by the fresh quality of the ingredients. The one thing I'd recommend is to not limit the options for picking toppings; you only get to choose 4 toppings. In addition, I'd recommend asking for extra sauce that you order because it's pretty dry with the amount of lettuce/rice they give you. The creamy tiragashi sauce was light which I liked, but it had a little too much citrus in my opinion; it was pretty overpowering. Overall, it wasn't a bad poke shop. read more
Vibe: -We ordered takeout so we didn't spend a ton of time inside but overall it is clean and modern. We ordered: - Loaded shrimp bowl w/ tempura shrimp. YUM. It is served on the best sushi rice i've had. Plus, you have the ability to add veggies/proteins/sauces to make what you want. The Yum Yum sauce has a teeny bit of a kick and is the best Yum Yum sauce I've ever had. The shrimp were crunchy and cooked perfectly. - Husband got Sesame Sriracha bowl with a mix of proteins. He liked it and thought it "tasted spicy". It was quick to be eaten. Additional thoughts: - We enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and the serving sizes overall. And seriously, that rice. This mainland style Poké is ruining Polynesian dishes. I'm from Hawaii and drove nearly an hour for a taste of home. It saddens me the level of knowledge places like this have of the culture of where this food comes from. Besides the limited knowledge, watered-down Poké, and expensive prices, small portions are also what you will find. I won't put this restaurant on complete blast by giving them a 1 star. But honestly to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. If you are looking for true Poké, this is not where you will find it. If you are looking to spend money just because, eat mainland diluted (polluted) dishes with no knowledge of actual Poké you found your place. Side note: my rice did not seem cooked all the way or properly. read more

Hands down THE BEST spot in all of Savannah!! I can't even count the amount of times that I have gone here for lunch. The food is always super fresh and perfectly prepared every single time. The staff is amazing and I am in love with the upgrades that they have made in the shop. The space is absolutely beautiful with wood paneling on the walls, lots of natural lighting and shaded outdoor seating options. The spicy tuna crunch is my go to every time i come in. if i had one meal left on this earth, it would be a spicy tuna crunch bowl with krab salad instead of seaweed salad from Nom Nom Poke read more
