When we are traveling we rely on Yelp and we are glad we did when we decided to pick Treylor Park - Hitch. When we chose it we didn't realize that there are a few other Treylor Parks - all with their own concepts. The service was a little lukewarm at first, but got progressively better. We went on Father's Day and expected it to be a little busier, but maybe we missed the rush. My husband started off with a Bloody Mary - all the way. It came with a pickle juice shooter that at first sounded a little weird, but was actually tasty. We started with fried green tomatoes. They were definitely different than any I had ever had. First it was tempura. YAY! Most are cornmeal and the texture is weird. These were so good. It came with a pimento cheese topper. It was my first time having pimento cheese and I loved it! I had the grilled apple pie chicken sandwich. I was a little worried it would be super sweet but it was not. It was perfectly balanced. My husband had the Treylor Park Pot Pie. It was a chicken pot pie burrito/chimichanga. My husband loved the collard greens and loved his meal. All in all we enjoyed our meal and will go back next time we are in Savannah.

This restaurant in Savannah (diner) had the most amazing fried green tomatoes with fabulous pimiento cheese on it! I've never had real southern pimiento cheese, apparently, just cheap imitations in the past! I had lunch with some friends and the service was quick, but they didn't rush us out. This was a cute place and the decor was adorable. It is in a nice area to walk around..the parking was surprisingly pricey to me for such a quaint little area.

Very different and unique. Food was good but again different. Would definitely go again. Service was amazing. Music was good.

Food: 7/10 Drinks: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Overall rating: 7.5/10 The avocado fries were just okay, they made me realize I don't like warm mushy avocado. Fried Oreos are always good!

What a great find here in beautiful Savannah. Very cool and interesting restaurant. It was packed but we got seated right away. Ordered the shrimp and grits tacos and avocado fries. Both perfectly prepared and delicious. U can't say you see those menu items very often so when we did we HAD to order it! No regrets. I wanted to order so much more, like the cheese steak egg rolls and treylor park nachos. Next time for sure.

We would not have stopped here if it were not for our amazing Uber driver. She mentioned these peanut butter & jelly chicken wings, and I was intrigued. My mom is not the biggest chicken wing fan, but she is always down to find a good wing. Thank goodness we did! These wings are the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The peanut sauce is not overly sweet and has more of an umami taste. The wings are paired with this peach jelly, OH MY GOD. We also had this collared green dip. This was a must-have. It was cheesy and savory, everything you want in a dip. We paired it with the Treylor Park spritzes and people watching outside, it was the perfect afternoon!

Are you looking for fresh good food? Outside patio and indoor seating available. Kids menu but depending on the age of the children they can share a pie. The pies are massive for $10. Don't be afraid to try something new ! Those weird combinations are definitely good here at Treylor Park. Here's are a few that we enjoyed - peanut butter and peach jelly wings(fried hard) 5 -fish and chips with fries and collard greens. The Dipping sauce was delicious too. 5 - avocado fries 5 - applies chicken sandwich 5 - cheese pie (cheese pizza) 5 -Grapeful dead (cocktail) 5 I have uploaded a few pics. Parking garage behind the building or you can use street parking for $2.50 an hour. Food comes out fast drinks come out even faster lol We drove four hours and Treylor Park was worth every BITE! Restrooms were clean and fully stocked. Entire staff were joyful and attentive. Listen I'll drive this 4 hours anytime for this hidden stable. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

This evening, my friend, Matt, and I dimmed at the hitch, which is part of trailer park. For a drink, I got the Kool-Aid grape drink with gummy bears inside and then my friend Matt got the large Sprite and I also got a water with a lemon. Our server this evening and our hostess her name is Audrey and she is fantastic. She was very attentive, although she was manning the hostess stand and doing tables. My friend Matt loved the tacos, so we're probably gonna stop here again tomorrow for a quick little snack. 10/10

Just amazing! Incredible food combined with some of the friendliest good service I've ever had. It was father's day, my wife talked me into having a bloody marry, so I got to All The Way Bloody Marry. It's a spicy one topped with a lemon and lime slice, a sweet pickle and a couple of olives. Then it comes with a shot of pickle juice on the side to be added in. I was a little bit skeptical about added the pickle juice shot at first, but I added it a little at first then the whole thing. It ended up adding a little bit of extra flavor. The bloody marry was very good. For lunch we started with an order of fried green tomatoes. This one of the best fried green tomatoes I've ever had. As for our lunch, my wife had the Apple Pie Fried Chicken sandwich. It surprised the hell out of her! It was not super sweet like you would think, but very well balanced and very good. Now me I had the Treylor Park Pot Pie. It's a chicken pot pie wrapped in a burrito wrapper "chicken pot pie burrito ". It was incredible! I only wish it able to eaten with your hands. It came with a side of collard greens, they also really good. Other then trying to find a place to park it was an excellent choice for lunch.

You guys....... when I tell you that you HAVE TO COME HERE. I mean it. 10/10. No complaints. I wish I had a bigger stomach to order more to eat and try. Service is good and friendly the inside is nice calm and relaxed. Delicious food. I am sad we don't live in the area because i definitely don't have this at home. Will absolutely return if ever in the area again.

I ate and drank at this spot waaaaay back when I first visited Savannah, and I've been a hundred different people since then. And I know this is a tourist spot. But I still enjoyed my mid-day break here. I stopped by after doing a couple different museums. I was thirsty, tired, and my brain was mushy. Both bartenders were great. The second one hooked me up on a great to go cup! I had the cactus pear margarita, which wasn't too sweet and easy to drink. The hang tang mojito (yes, THAT Tang) wasn't as amazing as I remember it being in 2018, but that was a different me. It was still a fun drink and full of fresh mint. The flying wasp, an Arnold Palmer-esque drink made with sweet tea vodka, lemon juice, and mint was probably my favorite. Truly refreshing. I also tried the cherry cola (cherry kool-aid vodka, cola, lime, luxardo cherry), but it was a little sweet for me. They have a lot of fried food here, served creatively. Fried banana pepper rings, fried green tomatoes, cheesesteak egg rolls, creamed collard dip, tacos, fish and chips, chicken and waffles, etc. I had their cheeseboard which is INSANE! It is HUGE and only 20 dollars! I could barely make a dent in it. Two or three or maybe even four people could share this board, and it's really a value! Cheap prices for the area too. Was a great mid-day break.

Their caprese pizza with added fried chicken was sooooooo tasty and filling. Ah that fried chicken on top was perfection

We stopped here for food and drinks. They were pretty busy. Their customer service is PHENOMENAL!! Jericha was amazing and so was Harley at the bar. Such lively atmosphere and a fun menu. Our food portions were giant and delicious.

Ask the Community - Treylor Park - Hitch

Are happy hour beer prices available when served at a table or just the bar?

    Are y'all dog friendly?

This is a very small restaurant with three small tables outside for outdoor dining. No matter what their policy is, it is probably way too cramped for a pet. You could potentially do outdoor dining at one of the small tables with your pet.

My family and I are in town, my daughter is 16 can I get in?

    Yes.

We have 1 Vegan in our party, are there options for them?

Yes! I had some really great tacos!

    Are you pet friendly?

    Yes but only outdoor seating

    Do they serve bottomless mimosas?

Too expensive if you ask me. Ordinary pubs is only $10

    Do you guys di delivery?

    No delivery

They are famous, seen in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. They have memorabilia and historical décor on the walls. But out midday weekday experience was not thrilling. We went for the all-breast-meat Chicken club sandwich. Fresh lettuce. Thick ripe tomato slices. Plenty of crispy tasty bacon. But the chicken was flavorless and on the dry side, with some tough bites that meant careless trimming. How about corned-beef hash eggs-Benedict with grits and a biscuit? The hash was dry. The grits were ok but ordinary. The biscuit was doughy and flavorless. If we were too late for freshly-made hash, they shouldn't have served them. We obviously weren't thrilled Well, they clearly do care enough to reply! I guess we all have off days. Yeah, i'll try them again.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. One side was topped with sloppy joe, while the other had chili and relish. It was a fun idea that let you enjoy two different flavor combinations in one meal. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the creative footlong hot dog alone is worth trying.

On this visit, we sat outside, and while the outdoor seating does expose you to nature and some insects, the restaurant does fan the area well, even offering table top fans to keep the flies away. The entree I ordered was overall decent, a crab cake Benedict with a side salad - I'm confident if I lived in the area I would find a standard go-to order that would be even better. It was accompanied by a Savannah banana iced coffee which truly hit the spot on a warm day. While the restaurant does have its own parking lot, it does appear to fill up quickly - there's plenty of paid parking available around the park, and for our purposes it gave us a good reason to walk around the park before our meal, and again to walk off our lunch afterwards. Pricing is reasonable at about $25 per person, obviously it can get much pricier depending on whether you're just stopping in or you're making a longer experience of your visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant, more so for the experience than the food alone.. but the food is pretty good too.
