The service was good. They seemed slightly short staffed, and we were there around St. Patty's Week. Wife had the tacos, and I ended up with the chicken and waffles. Her tacos- ok. My chicken and waffles were much better, with a blueberry jam spread type of chunky syrup. Mine was good, chicken not too greasy, the waffles were just right. They give a side of collard greens? I get it, and I love collard greens Especially with some ham hock? (Mmmmm) But this. Yeah. Hard pass. Honestly. It tasted very sour, almost like a spoiled kimchi. (Pass). Her tacos? Bland. (Steak) We also had an appetizer which was Phili Cheesteak egg rolls: which was recommended. That? Honestly, I didn't know what that was. To us- a hot mess, greasy with a cheese dip on the side where it tasted highly processed. Yeah, not good. It was very loud in there. Crowd, kids, people tying a few things too many on, so: look- It was the day before St. Patty's Day, so we get it. Seemed like there were a lot of college kids out, but in my opinion, it's a "meh". You could be shouting across the table to your spouse trying to hear each other ... but it's a bar serving meh bar food (just my opinion). We would not have stopped here if it were not for our amazing Uber driver. She mentioned these peanut butter & jelly chicken wings, and I was intrigued. My mom is not the biggest chicken wing fan, but she is always down to find a good wing. Thank goodness we did! These wings are the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The peanut sauce is not overly sweet and has more of an umami taste. The wings are paired with this peach jelly, OH MY GOD. We also had this collared green dip. This was a must-have. It was cheesy and savory, everything you want in a dip. We paired it with the Treylor Park spritzes and people watching outside, it was the perfect afternoon! read more

This evening, my friend, Matt, and I dimmed at the hitch, which is part of trailer park. For a drink, I got the Kool-Aid grape drink with gummy bears inside and then my friend Matt got the large Sprite and I also got a water with a lemon. Our server this evening and our hostess her name is Audrey and she is fantastic. She was very attentive, although she was manning the hostess stand and doing tables. My friend Matt loved the tacos, so we're probably gonna stop here again tomorrow for a quick little snack. 10/10 read more

Open later than most during the week, Treylor Park-Hitch was a good spot for a couple of appetizers to hold us over after a long day of travel. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and topped with delicious pimento cheese, and the PB&J chicken wings were sweet and unique. I ate and drank at this spot waaaaay back when I first visited Savannah, and I've been a hundred different people since then. And I know this is a tourist spot. But I still enjoyed my mid-day break here. I stopped by after doing a couple different museums. I was thirsty, tired, and my brain was mushy. Both bartenders were great. The second one hooked me up on a great to go cup! I had the cactus pear margarita, which wasn't too sweet and easy to drink. The hang tang mojito (yes, THAT Tang) wasn't as amazing as I remember it being in 2018, but that was a different me. It was still a fun drink and full of fresh mint. The flying wasp, an Arnold Palmer-esque drink made with sweet tea vodka, lemon juice, and mint was probably my favorite. Truly refreshing. I also tried the cherry cola (cherry kool-aid vodka, cola, lime, luxardo cherry), but it was a little sweet for me. They have a lot of fried food here, served creatively. Fried banana pepper rings, fried green tomatoes, cheesesteak egg rolls, creamed collard dip, tacos, fish and chips, chicken and waffles, etc. I had their cheeseboard which is INSANE! It is HUGE and only 20 dollars! I could barely make a dent in it. Two or three or maybe even four people could share this board, and it's really a value! Cheap prices for the area too. Popped in for a late lunch at 2:00 and sat outside. Was disappointed to hear they were out of the beer my husband wanted (only local option) and the only non alcoholic beer option that I wanted. We were going to get the fried green tomato BLT but were informed they were ALSO out of the pimento cheese which was what made the sandwich special enough to order in our opinion. We ended up sharing the double dog instead. While it was tasty, it wasn't quite big enough to truly be on 2 buns (very clear once we cut it in half) and unfortunately both the hot dog and the fries were lukewarm, bordering on cold. The service was okay--food took awhile to come out but it had clearly been sitting there ready for a while based on the temperature so seems like more of a service issue. read more

I see that Hitch is rated a 4.0... it's totally underrated! Five stars all day. We ate at the bar and the drinks - Georgia Mules - are unique, refreshing and downright good! My wife typically does not a bourbon drinker, but this drink makes her come back for more! The PB&J wings are a must have. Yes. It sounds like an awful combination for wings, but it's the best bite I've had in town this week! The fried green tomatoes are tough to find any better. Delicious! The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path from downtown, but an easy, and worthwhile walk or uber ride away! read more

Fantastic everything! Locations is prime, right on the corner very close to all the activities to do. The food was amazing. We shared the nachos- they did not disappoint! The aioli wasn't as good as a tartar sauce would have been, especially since they had malt vinegar on the table. From walking up to the hitch we can appreciate the level of dedication to the hitch theme it was pretty kitschy and cute. We were warmly welcomed by staff upon entering and seated quickly. We also arrived about 4pm on a Sunday. Unfortunately we were also greeted by the unpleasant smell of dirty mop water. To be fair it was really unpleasant. We ordered a full variety's of food. I have seen the reviews and they are either great, or lousy, and I get it. Of I were rating it on just the food I would give it a 3...it was...fine. But the service sucked. By more than one person. On a show afternoon. It is disappointing that this was my last meal before leaving Savannah. I walked up, a little late for lunch and asked to sit outside, as the weather was lovely. I was told to have a seat anywhere. After a bit the waitress came out with a cup of water and a menu, but I told her I had already check it out and just wanted the ahi tuna salad. And then I waited. And waited. She finally came back around with a bunch of plates on her arms and drops me off some tacos. I told her I ordered a salad, and she just said "Oh this is just what the kitchen gave me". Ok. A little while later my salad was brought out by someone else who was friendly and asked if I needed anything else. I told her I was good. My waitress came by a minute later and made sure I got the right lunch and I gave her a thumbs up. Then, I wasn't halfway through my salad before she comes back and asks me if I wanted to order something else of if I just wanted the check. Like she is trying to turn over the table in a mostly empty restaurant. I had practically just started eating. It was rude. She then rings me up and I never see an itemized bill, just the total, but I had the receipt emailed to me. She charged me for the more expensive entree, that I didn't order, nor eat, and then rushed me off. I walked in after lunch to ask about the restrooms to wash my hands, and the man now standing at the host desk was on the phone and never once looked at me. I stood there for two minutes before I just started walking around. There were maybe six tables occupied but no one has any time for you, here. As for the salad, it is just ok. I liked the salad mix , avocado, and the pickled red onions. There was a TON of ginger on it that just took over everything and got pushed to the side. The tuna was ok but the quality wasn't great and it and the cucumbers were marinated in what tasted like sweet teriyaki sauce. The dressing was supposed to be a wasabi vinaigrette but it was a sweet, citrusy, goopy sauce that tasted nothing of wasabi. If I were to guess, I would say maybe yuzu and honey. But even fake wasabi has that horseradishy bite to it and it can't be hidden. This had nothing of that. So all in all I got overcharged for a mid salad and snotty service. read more

Walking into Treylor Park Hitch was such a comfy vibe. We were seated immediately and the decor was fun and inviting. We started off with the draft beer and shot combo which was a really good deal. The Tang and cherry Kool Aid shots were delicious and worth the $3. For food we ordered: Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Chicken Biscuit with Fries, Smash Burger with cheese and Fries, and Deep Fried Oreos. The nachos were fully loaded and packed with tons of chicken and toppings, all of which went really well together. The chicken biscuit was cooked fresh and could tell the biscuit was homemade, all the crinkle fries were tender and crisp. The smash cheeseburger was well seasoned and more filling than expected. The deep fried Oreos were sooo good they are addicting, needless to say they all were gone before leaving the table. What a place! Our group was in town for a Bachelorette trip and this was our first restaurant stop! Let me tell you, this place owes us nothing! Down to the service the entire experience was great! Treylor Park in Savannah deserves all the praise. I ordered the grouper fish sandwich and it was easily one of the best I've had anywhere. The fish was cooked perfectly--light, flaky, and full of flavor--and their special tartar sauce took it over the top. It gave the sandwich a real "wow" factor. The bun at first seemed like it could have been more buttery, but once I bit in, the toasted bread made sense. It held everything together without getting soggy, which was a smart choice. I also tried their Bloody Mary, which was excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. But really, the star was that fish sandwich--it's a solid ten in my book. Treylor Park is a fun spot with great food, and I'll definitely be coming back. Great service as well and great music chill vibes! read more

PB&J wings? Great! Waiting 40 minutes for them? Horrible? Why bother telling your patrons the kitchen is slammed and there may be a wait? Just seat us sit and make us wait for 50 minutes with no apps, drinks, or anything but water and beer. Bartender taking a call on the clock, while people wait to be seated? You bet! Tables placing orders and then cancelling them to leave because the wait is insane? You bet! Table of 5 getting their food before you even when they came in after you? You bet! And don't even get me started on the saltiest "pot pie" in the WORLD!! When confronted about the issues by nearby patrons, the response was "We're short staffed today." And it appears that instead of picking up slack for being short-staffed, they accepted their fate and just CRAWLED with the service and attention. That being said, unprovoked, a discount was added to our bill for the service. Hence why I'm giving this 2-stars as opposed to a 1-star. read more

Was it better than the chain Smashburger? Not at all. It was only good. My Friend had the caprese pizza. He hated it. Took one bite and no more. He could've been full from the nachos but no. He said it was just bad. And we didn't take a photo. Imagine rolling out dough but it was for a bad cracker recipe - that was the crust. It was stiff and caramel Brown color. The pesto was an unusually deep green color (for pesto). If it were a painting the palate would be lovely. I Love a thin crust pizza but I draw the line at cracker crust.
