Mojo chicken rice bowl, hot chicken tacos, sweet mint green tea
    Emi N.

Some of the nicest people and the yummiest food in the area! The hot chicken tacos are a must and most recently tried the mojo chicken rice bowl, which was a nice balance of sweet and savory with the coconut jasmine rice. You also can't miss out on their green teas! They have a lemon grass and my personal favorite, the sweet mint. Definitely a local food truck you do not want to miss out on!

By far my favorite food truck in Pensacola! I'm so glad they have expanded their hours. They are located across from Pensacola Hardware downtown. My favorite is the mojo chicken bowl but the hot chicken (yes, very spicy) is good as well. Egg rolls are amazing. I love to try whatever special they have that day, it is always so creative and flavorful!

Nomadic eats was recommended by a co-worker and I'm so glad we went out for lunch that day! It's one of the best food trucks in Pensacola, their menu is very creative and fun. They put their own twists on these dishes and that's what makes them unique and good! If you haven't tried them yet, I def recommend trying them soon!

On the side is sweet pork adobo. The tacos are the hit chicken taco (literally the best) and the yummy tamale special!

How can I describe other than I have to eat here atleast once a week. The food is so fresh, and about 90% of the food is guilt free, the other 10% is super yummy and is awesome for those cheat days (hmmmm lumpia) They aren't boring with their menu either. Pork & Ginger dumplings? Sinigang? Sisig? Pumpkin spice lumpia? Best things man... But the food isn't all that's great the service is too. They don't want you to just pay & go they carry conversations and make jokes- it's a fun atmosphere to be around. Only complaint is that I don't have them as my own personal chefs

Always excellent! The pork/rice bowl is the best. Some spots to eat outside but it's my typical to go meal when I'm downtown

Amazing food! We all got the mojo chicken bowl. Can't wait to go back. Only critique is I wish the portions were a bit bigger.

The vibe in this place is pretty good, played decent music and the service was really good-our server was that perfect balance of attentive while letting us enjoy our dinner in peace if that makes sense. My party ordered various margaritas for dinner-while I ordered an Old Fashioned($9.00). I can say for sure this was the most full Old Fashioned I've ever had, pretty stiff and was probably my favorite part of dinner. We also ordered chips and salsa($4.00)-Flavorless salsa and bland tortilla chips. I ended up ordering their namesake dish the Flying Burrito($17.00) which features Skirt Steak, Chicken, and Creole Shrimp. The steak and chicken were fine, but the shrimp was a completely different story. It was extremely fishy and had a rubbery texture that made it nearly impossible to enjoy. I instantly thought, "Yep, this is probably going to make me sick." I checked the walls and this place has won many local awards so maybe they were just having a bad night but yeah didn't love much about this place outside of the Old Fashioned.

One review said they had the "best queso ever" at Lupitas Mexican Kitchen, but they apparently do not sell queso. So that was the first let down. The price of the 4 birria tacos was impressive, they were pretty good, just not amazing. The chicken quesadilla didn't really have any cheese, literally the chicken just fell out because there was nothing to hold it together. The steak burritos were decent, but again nothing to rave about. It did the trick, but I won't be back.

Lupita's Mexican Kitchen has a pretty straightforward menu and I had it narrowed down to either a burrito or the birria tacos and I asked the smiling young lady behind the counter which of the two I should go with. After a momentary pause, she pointed to the birria tacos sign. I paid for my order and found a seat. In a few moments, the smiling girl called out to me and handed me my food. The plate consisted of four birria tacos, a cup of consome (it appears that is the correct spelling for this. I thought it would be spelled like the traditional consomme) and a few small containers of both a spicy red sauce and a creamy green sauce. The price point was thirteen dollars. Quite a good price for the quality and quantity of the food they provided. These birria tacos were very good. I tore into them with quite some gusto. Mexican food is truly a culinary gift. I would have to say that Mexican is one of my favorite cuisines and it is because of these wonderfully humble little mom-and-pop establishments like Lupita's Mexican Kitchen. If you find yourself in Pensacola, Florida and craving Mexican food, Lupita's Mexican Kitchen is a great place to head for. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lupita's Mexican Kitchen and I will give it five stars overall.
