We had a great time at Tacos Rock! It's a cozy little place with easy atmosphere. Our waitress was super nice and attentive even when it got busy. The salsa and chips were great as you would expect from this kind of place. I got the fish tacos and they were tasty. The tortillas were made in house and they were delicious! My husband got corn ones and they were house made as well. They do say they have street style tacos but they're really referring to the toppings because the tacos are bigger than street tacos. Food - I had the steak fajitas. The steak was plentiful and tender. They had a great flavor with the onions and green peppers. The guacamole and the pico de gallo was incredibly fresh. Oh try their habanero sauce on the fajita, if you can handle the heat. My only complaint would be that they only served 4 wraps for the fajitas. Oh try their habanero house Margarita. Much better than most Mexican restaurant drinks. Service - I left a 25% tip. The waiter was charming with my mom and he kept my drinks full. Ambiance- the same. The service was decent but our waitress forgot about us multiple times. When the food arrived by the food runner, we were not asked if we needed anything else, even though our drinks were low, we needed napkins and limes. First timers here after sampling at The Taste of Gulf Breeze. It's a cute place upon walking in and didn't see how big the restaurant is until I went to the restroom. Waiter dropped off a basket of chips and salsa which were the best we had in a long time. Our waitress was very nice and greeted us and took our drink order. Was told the wait was 20 minutes ended up being 40. The menus are so old we couldn't even read the items listed. Then once the food came he dropped all of our food in front of us and then we had to wait again. I understand mistakes happen but it was a bit ridiculous. The queso had more water in it than cheese and had 0 flavor. The ground beef on my granddaughter's quesadilla tasted like can potted meat.
