Pretty good atmosphere but our food had hair in it. Fortunately we discovered it prior to consuming any of the food or hair. Management apologized and offered complimentary meals but we decided to leave..

So after the Maguire's Run, we grabbed some food at this spot. When I say the hit a homerun on everything, they blew away a group of 15 ppl some of whom had never dined there before. A critical part to our experience was our server Heyden. He offered so much honest and insightful information that our food experience was exactly what we were looking for. I chose to try something new and different and went with the crawfish ettouffe. I never tried crawfish before and it was a season menu item. I was so happy with my choice and I cleaned the plate. Every dish is amazing and you won't be disappointed. 10/10

The flying burrito is the best burrito we've had in the panhandle! The habanero salsa? They should sell at the super market! Great portion sizing! I now have a new food addition

Juan's is a nice place off the beaten path to stop for a drink or to take the family out for a bite. Everyone working toward very friendly and prompt. The place has a nice vibe to it. The Cadillac Marg is good but the Top Shelf Marg is best. The Breakfast Burrito #1 and Chorizo con Huevos Burrito are both fantastic and breakfast is served all day. Prices are steep but it's downtown Pensacola so it's expected. Over great choice.

The Flying Burrito - lots of shrimp, skirt steak & creole chicken. It was a slam dunk!

My third visit with Juan's Flying Burrito. I'm very embarrassed to say that the last I visited here that I was too busy scarfing down my burrito. But this time - I took pics. Our waitress was amazing! Really, I hope management appreciates how hard they work for every customer! So, while I remembered to take pics of the food - apparently I didn't take pictures of the establishment, and for that - I'm so sorry! This place is so cute. With a bar - tv mounted - it just feels like home - you know? And as picky as I am about my food - this was 100% delicious. Please give Juan's Flying Burrito a chance bc you'll walk away very happy! PS: The Queso was bar none the best - ever, but it's got a kick to it!

April, 14, 2026.....When Juan's Flying Burrito, opened several years ago, in Pensacola, it was located at the end of Gregory Street, not far from Pensacola Hardware. I drove by many times over the years always wanting to stop in and try it. Then one day, it was suddenly no longer there, and a Pizza restaurant had taken its place. A few days ago, I saw an ad on FB for Juan's and shared the menu and pics of the food, from their website, with my girlfriend. That's when also noticed the address of their current location. The pics and the descriptions of their dishes were very appealing, so I urged my girlfriend to eat there, and we did today. I ordered the Flying Butrito, and my girlfriend ordered the shrimp quesadilla. I also had a shrimp street taco, as it was $2.00 street taco Tuesday. I had the sweet iced tea, and my girl had a specialty mixed drink, Frozen Lemon Berry. We also ordered the chips and salsa. I was anxious to see and taste the unique fusion flavors of Creole, Cajun, Mexican, and Jamaican, that Juan's is known for. To be totally honest and forthright with my dining experience at Juan's, I was mostly "Disappointed"!! The iced tea was great southern orange pekoe sweet tea, but my girlfriends Frozen Lemon Berry drink had a taste similiar to unsweetened grapefruit juice, with mojito mix, and a splash of gin stirred in. To say the least, it was completely undrinkable. The $2.00 Street Taco, wasn't worth a even a dollar....!! Not flavorful and the tiny shrimp or diced shrimp chewed like rubber. The chips and salsa were awesome, and our wonderful server even made sure we knew we could reorder as much as we wanted,!! Which was nice..!! Now to the main entrees...My order was TOTALLY dissapointing, as the Flying Burrito was a giant grilled flour tortilla wrapped stuffed with pinto beans(in lieu of black beans) and yellow rice....did I mention that there was suppose to be skirt steak, creole chicken, and "GULF" shrimp, included in the burrito....Guess what.....there was NO SKIRT STEAK, there was only 2 SMALL BEAN SIZED pieces of chicken, only 3 TINY rubber pieces of shrimp, NO guacamole, NO cheese, and definitely NO salsa la fonda, in the entire, 2+ pound burrito, which altogether was less than a 1/2 an ounce of the overall weight of the wrap. The large flour tortilla, the beans, and the rice, accounted for 98% of the total weight of the Burrito..!! My girlfriend's Luau Quesadilla, was definitely more tasty and flavorful than my Flying Burrito, however, once again, the so called "Gulf" shrimp were only diced pieces of small shrimp, and there were very few of these chewy over cooked rubber consistency pieces of shrimp inside the quessadilla!!! In conclusion, our experience, at Juan's, was a food disaster!! Also, one most notable reference that Juan's uses in their menu descriptions is "Gulf shrimp".....What few pieces of small shrimp that were in our dishes, were definitely NOT "Gulf Shrimp"....The few little pieces they provided in our dishes, tasted like, and had the consistency of, shrimp that were flash frozen, Asian pond raised, and most likely bought through a seafood wholesaler. The only thing positive i will say about Juan's, is that the venue is nice, the server we had was pleasant and very understanding, and she even took that undrinkable drink, off of our tab, and also directed us to contact the manager about the food quality. So that's what I'm doing now, through Yelp....I expect this kind of bait snd switch from tourist trap restaurants out on the beaches, but not from a downtown Pensacola venue. If this is the way that Juan's does business and continues to operate, then I won't be back, and will deter my family, friends, and acquaintances, from dining there.... I'm including a couple of pics, provided from Juan's Flying Burrito website, of the two main entrees we ordered. The first is the Luau Quesadilla @ $14.00 and the second is the Flying Burrito @ $15.00. These pics look nothing like the food we were served, today!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE...SUBSTANDARD FOOD QUALITY(NOT "GULF" SHRIMP) AND PATHETIC QUANTITIES OF MAIN INGREDIENTS!

This was our first visit here and was not disappointed. We were greeted immediately and informed today was taco Tuesday which meant all street tacos were $2 instead of $4. Th place looks like a little hole in the wall place with a laid back atmosphere. There was a steady crowd as were there at lunch but the noise level was comfortable so as you could hear your table companion. I had the Juanita Bowl and it was fresh and the vegetables were steamed perfectly. My friend had the street tacos and he stated they were really good. He said the Chorizo was the best. Our server was on his "A" game with our water and table service! We will be back!

They atmosphere is very welcoming the staff from front door to kitchen are very friendly and personable. Great food specials and hearty food portions.

Really good burrito I ordered for takeout. Only thing is I can't justify the price. Like the burrito is awesome, but no chips or anything for how much you pay is absurd IMO. Also the presentation was a little iffy for a pickup order(I may have moved the bag around on accident to be fair) , but no impact on the flavor.

LOVED the food here. Their menu is amazing, so many things to choose from. I never like having to pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant, but that was the only downside of this place. Cute insides and the service was excellent. Next time we'll get the nachos. They looked LOADED.

Ordered quesadilla and it was greasy and no salsa, lettuce or sour cream. Service was really slow. I won't visit again.

Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!

One review said they had the "best queso ever" at Lupitas Mexican Kitchen, but they apparently do not sell queso. So that was the first let down. The price of the 4 birria tacos was impressive, they were pretty good, just not amazing. The chicken quesadilla didn't really have any cheese, literally the chicken just fell out because there was nothing to hold it together. Lupita's Mexican Kitchen has a pretty straightforward menu and I had it narrowed down to either a burrito or the birria tacos and I asked the smiling young lady behind the counter which of the two I should go with. After a momentary pause, she pointed to the birria tacos sign. I paid for my order and found a seat. In a few moments, the smiling girl called out to me and handed me my food. The plate consisted of four birria tacos, a cup of consome (it appears that is the correct spelling for this. I thought it would be spelled like the traditional consomme) and a few small containers of both a spicy red sauce and a creamy green sauce. The price point was thirteen dollars. Quite a good price for the quality and quantity of the food they provided. These birria tacos were very good. I tore into them with quite some gusto. Mexican food is truly a culinary gift. I would have to say that Mexican is one of my favorite cuisines and it is because of these wonderfully humble little mom-and-pop establishments like Lupita's Mexican Kitchen. If you find yourself in Pensacola, Florida and craving Mexican food, Lupita's Mexican Kitchen is a great place to head for. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lupita's Mexican Kitchen and I will give it five stars overall.
