    Pineapple green tea
    Rich H.

After a hearty dinner at Hong Kong Bistro, we went next door to @mistea_bubbletea_dessert for a little after dinner sweet snack. We got the caramel croissant and a refreshing pineapple green tea. A light and airy croissant is split down the middle, filled with sweet cream, and topped with mixed nuts, powdered sugar, and caramel sauce. A beautiful combination of salty and sweet. The pineapple green tea was delicious with chunks of pineapple and slightly sweet finish. If you're looking for a cute spot for some boba tea and delectable pastries, go check out Mistea Bubble Tea and Dessert.

Drinks for the kids, fun decor, simple tables if staying in. Menu- wide array of drink options. Service- nice, quick, greeted right away. Kids had a mango slush, mango coconut milk boba drink, strawberry coconut milk boba drink. They liked their drinks, didn't love them in comparison to a couple other spots we frequent. Mango flavor was a bit off two of them as well. The tried all and thought the mango slush was the best option of the three drinks.

This place used to be Tutem Tea and now it's a new Boba Tea place called MisTea. The knocked down the original wall and vertical bar area it used to have and made the tea area at the back of the shop only, which makes it a lot more comfortable to sit. They have 3 claw machines to the left when you come in and a huge wall of plushies which is perfect for pictures. However it lacks the old classy essence of tutem, which simply appeals to a different demographic (I'd say more similar to tsaocaa). Overall, it's a cute place, but atmospheric-ly comes off as louder despite it being a quiet place. They do sell small trinkets at the front, which also makes it feel a bit more diverse. They're trying to go for a clean and cute aesthetic. They staff was kind and attentive. I went on a Sunday around noon, and there wasny anyone else there. Service was fast, 5 minutes maximum. As your local boba tea addict I can say this place does a fair job with their brulee flavors. In comparison to Paris bahn mi and treata, it's somewhere in the middle. They do lack a little with the fruity teas however, so if you want to get boba here get the Milky ones. But I could be comparing the fruity teas to Tutem. They do have these very cute coconut desserts that also looks a little like a drink. I haven't ordered it, but it looks very unique and something I'd like to try in the future. Don't let the departure of Tutem leave you MisTea-eyed, and try out mistea. It's cute and convenient.

This is a new bubble tea shop located next to Hong Kong bistro. They have a wide variety of boba teas and slushies. I enjoyed their classic boba tea. The space is clean and inviting, they even have several claw machines you can try your luck with. The service was nice, although it is a little slow. There are also some dessert offerings on the menu as well. I look forward to returning!

We ordered a board as an appetizer and waited close to 35 minutes for it before our server realized she never rang it up. We were upset as we wanted something to snack on as we waited for our meal. She offered to quickly have it made, but our food was almost ready and it did not make sense to us anymore at that point. But no other resolution was offered. The food was great, but it took a while to get our food. It didnt seem to be busy, yet they where slow. Im sure if we had our appetizer, we wouldnt have noticed the 45 minute wait. We loved the cheesecake and the mocha cake! Drinks where very nice and strong. Overall, i loved it here. Hopefully next time ill be able to get my board!

It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. I probably wouldn't come here again, but if I were in the area I might try some of their other pastries or sweet treats.

The next morning, we had the sausage and scallion bun at home. I liked it, maybe more than the pork bun, and would get it again, though it had the advantage of being reheated at home in the microwave. I'd get this again, though probably trying the regular hot dog bun instead of the scallion one next time. I'd asked the server if she could reheat our items when I bought them, but she said no, and didn't seem to understand English well. So far, I've preferred the savory things to the sweets here. Each item was $3-3.25, so a better value than the other bakeries I go to. I will return to this place periodically, but I still prefer places like Cruffin & Tea and Le Petit Paris, so I'm giving Mai Xiang Garden Bakery an average rating, 3 stars: pretty good, but not above average for a bakery, other than the good value.
