Just an awesome restaurant with some of the best Vietnamese cuisine I've ever enjoyed! I don't think ma and pa shops get much better than this for Asian foods! We had a gang meet up that included Goldie, Jimmy, Lea, Loan and myself. We get together each month to try a new restaurant, and of course, to enjoy each other's company. It's been a while since I had a Vietnamese meal and when I go, I'm always stuck on ordering something of the Vermicelli variety. Yep! That's what I did on this day. First off, I have to say that quality of the fresh veggies - lettuce, carrots, cucumber, etc., along with peanuts, were the best in freshness status I've ever seen in just about any restaurant. Between the appearance and the taste, they stand alone in this category. I wasn't worried about having the rolls with this meal, so I chose the B1a - grilled shrimp and pork. As a full bowl, the appearance and quality of the toppings over the noodles was stellar. The pork was chewy, but not in the range of the impossible to deal with. Just something that people who have difficulty chewing might wish to be aware of. There were three large pieces of shrimp that were tasty but a tad overcooked - not enough in any way to drop my score. With the fish sauce mixed, along with the bowl, it turned out to be a fantastic meal! Loan recommended we visit Q-Cup Boba Tea and it was totally worth visit! I will say that Loan's, Goldie's, jimmy's and Lea's offerings looked pretty amazing as well. The sub sandwich and beef cuts on Jimmy's meal looked superb! May have to try that one someday. I'll let them tell you about their meal in their reviews. This is a fantastic ma and pa shop. It's basic in appearance, not the most highly rated in decor. We love their Banh Mi! Their baguette is my favorite, crispy on the outside and soft inside and perfectly paired with their flavorful grilled pork, pickled vegetables and fresh cilantro. Their pho is also delicious. On our last visit, we tried their shaken beef but was a tad disappointed with the lack of flavor, we've had better elsewhere. I met up with some Yelp friends for dinner tonight. We rotate who will pick for our dinners each month. I have seen this place, but I have never visited yet. My regret is not coming sooner! Thanks to "Loan" for choosing such a great place for boba and dinner. They open at 5:30, so we there then. The place filled up fast and had many "to-go" orders to take. I loved my dish immensely, but I sure can't tell you the name. I will have to check in that. Jimmy and Lea P, Loan, Ron and I had a great fellowship, great food and drinks. I have eaten here before, but this time was different...I ate the pho here and, a few hours later, my body apparently decided it was time to evacuate every molecule of food I had ever consumed in my entire existence. I was vomiting about every hour, all day long, and couldn't keep down food, water, or basically anything that entered my body. I have genuinely never been this sick in my life. At one point I was pretty sure I had entered a long-term relationship with my bathroom floor. Obviously I can't scientifically prove exactly what caused it, but the timing was extremely suspicious, and the severity was absolutely horrific. I've had bad food before, but this was on another level. I ordered pho, not a complimentary all-inclusive stay at the Vomit Resort. I will absolutely never eat here again. Whatever happened in that bowl of pho, I hope it stays there and never finds me again. 0/10 experience. My digestive system would like to formally unsubscribe. I got the Pork chop, egg-cake, pork skin,egg rice dish (Cơm dac biet)! 12/10!!! It was $14.95 as of 08DEC2025. I also got hazelnut boba tea medium size with no ice ($4.45+$0.50 for the boba). Locally owned and delicious. Can't wait to go back for more. The staff were kind and the food came out in within 15 to 20 minutes of me ordering as this is a larger meal. Sorry no pictures... Yesterday (8/22/25) was my first visit to this restaurant. I wanted bahn mi and I was torn between Q-Cup and the place across the street; both of which I've never visited. Well boy was I glad I decided on Q. Initially, I ordered the lemongrass beef bahn mi with pate and taro bubble milk tea for myself and a Thai bubble milk tea for my daughter who said she didn't want anything to eat. When I got in the car, I tried my food and immediately wanted another after the first bite. My daughter asked to try it then held my sandwich hostage so I went back inside and ordered the bahn mi number 9 with pate and let her have that one. I wanted another sandwich today (8/23/25) so I went back and dined in. But this time, I ordered the dry noodle Bún with grilled pork, extra fish sauce and a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. I also ordered a honeydew bubble milk tea to go. Not gonna lie, I might be back tomorrow for the sandwich I didn't get tonight lol. Both times I had a great experience in this cozy establishment. The staff is so kind. Tonight, I had the pleasure of speaking with an older gentleman and he was a joy to talk to. You can tell it makes him happy when you enjoy the food. 10/10 I'll return sooner than later. Welp...went back with the kids today (8/24/25). They wanted soups so we had Hu Tieu Bo Kho, Hu tieu Sai Gon and Bun Bo Hue. We also had chicken egg rolls, spring rolls and a grilled pork bahn mi with pate. Coconut bubble milk tea, Thai bubble milk tea, and Cappuccino mocha blast with boba. I have pictures of our soups from today. The portions are great. A banh mi for lunch always sounds good! Especially with a boba smoothie on the side. Q-Cup looked so good on Yelp, we headed over on a Saturday afternoon to give them a try. We walked in, were immediately welcomed and told we could sit anywhere we liked. Our go-to is the grilled pork banh mi so we both ordered that. Hubby ordered a taro smoothie with boba and I ordered a Thai tea smoothie with boba. Everything was delivered to our table super fast and fresh. We both loved the banh mi sandwiches and boba smoothies. The grilled pork was delicious, tender and abundant. I loved the pickled veggies, fresh jalapeño slices and the loads of cilantro - yum! Of course, the crusty French style bread was amazing. The taro and Thai tea smoothies were flavorful, creamy and filling. The boba was soft on the inside, nice and chewy on the inside. We were greeted warmly when we entered and given some time to look over the menu. Atmosphere was great with a pretty steady stream of people coming in and out. We had a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, strong and sweet, the perfect combo. For food, we ordered the Chicken Egg rolls, Grilled pork with rice, Red Char Sui Banh Mi, and the Pho. I came in with my work bestie to get some Thai tea. We love our Thai tea and we've been to quite a few Boba places around town and was not impressed. But we got it right coming here cause the Thai tea here is wonderful! I didn't know they sold food here too and it looked delicious so I'll be coming back to try it! When you arrive, just sit down. They will bring you a menu. When you're done, go to the counter and pay (they don't bring your receipt). Order the combination pho. Broth was deep. Great variation of meat and the quantity is abundant. The tendon was cooked perfectly, probably the best I've had. Springs rolls were good. Boba tea was good. Overall a great pho spot in Jax. My kids wanted to try boba and this place was right around the corner from where we had lunch. There were so many options. It was kind of difficult to choose. I decided on a banana milk tea. The boys got fruit slushees and smoothies with boba. My husband got a fruit smoothie with boba. There was a bit of a wait. Also, the restaurant was getting awfully packed and they were requiring masks. It made me a little uncomfortable. If you have a smaller restaurant that is frequently busy, I think requiring or at least encouraging masks is favorable. After we got our drinks, we walked to the car and took our first sips. We got the banana colada and thai tea drinks, along with lemongrass beef banh mis. The drinks weren't great. It seems that they use powders and syrups, making them taste artificial. The sandwiches were good but the meat, which appeared to be cut up meatballs, wasn't particularly tender. However, the flavor was definitely there and that was without the mayo as I requested to omit it. The bread was good and soft but I missed the pickled veggies that I enjoy on banh mis. If you come here, the banh mi sandwiches are the best items on their menu. It's really their specialty. On this visit, we had their pho, but it was lacking in some areas. First the pho broth was very fatty and it's apparent they do not skim the broth during the preparation process. I like stopping by here for some boba drinks and so far it's not bad. The ambiance was nice and not crowded, there's a lot of seating available and parking. The people that took my order were kind and quick to take my order. The reason I didn't give them five stars was because I ordered a mango lychee smoothie with boba and instead I got a slushy which they charged me as a smoothie when the slushy cost less. I realized this when I got in my car and I drove off and then I sipped my drink and it was very icy cool & slightly watery due to the ice melting. It wasn't bad but still it wasn't what I wanted but will pay more attention next time I order here again.
