Went for the happy hour - it was great ! 6$ quite generous portion hand rolls were a stand out. The salmon crudo was also great . The cucumber / kale salad was amazing . Inviting atmosphere and good service. Neighborhood gem - go for the happy hour - great deal and delicious food .

Came in here last Friday night with some friends. We were lucky enough to be there for happy hour. $6 hand rolls were amazing! We got the avocado and cucumber, shrimp tempura, and the salmon hand roll. For drink we got the old fashioned and a yuzu margarita. Delicious! Service was good, will definitely be back!

So glad I finally got to try this spot! Super cute space, love the vibe! Our food came out very quickly, drinks arrived after the apps. Our waitress seemed in a bad mood, wasn't the friendliest, but it's ok because the food and vibes were great! To start we got an oyster shooter. This was fantastic full of favor! We got the wings and shumai also. The wings were perfectly cooked, could have used a bit more sauce but still great. I got the black dice cafe to drink and this was great! Tropical vibes. For sushi we got the surf and turf and the mango salsa. The mango salsa roll was great. Full of flavor and very fresh. The surf and turf was ok to me. I can't wait to come back!

Fresh high quality seafood, but it'll cost you a pretty penny at Nomonomo. Portions are small for the price though everything is tasty. Cocktails are well crafted and service makes dining even more enjoyable. I've never seen them crowded so you should be good with or without a reservation. 4.37 stars.

Such a great find in Logan square where most of the restaurants were closed before 9pm on a Sunday. We were escorted to table almost end of the restaurant because it was already set up. Our server made some signature cocktails which he was doing a soft opening. Mine was a plum and jasmine martini and my friend got some pear drink which wasn't even on the menu. This was my second time eating all vegetarian sushi because my friend doesn't eat seafood. We got a few delicious platters of mushroom and Avacado sushi and also hot soba noodles which was slightly salty . We were so hungry we wiped out all the food . Our server Kayla was very personable. Definitely will come back when. In the area.

Ambiance- super cute restaurant, opted for the omakase experience and I did feel that the height to grab sushi from the counter was a little too tall/off Service- really attentive servers, but the chef didn't seem to talk much Food-good for an omakase experience but there weren't any pieces that stood out to me

We came here on a New Year's Eve date and enjoyed our time. Service was prompt - we ordered some fun cocktails to start. My tequila drink was deliciously light and refreshing. We started with the wings - these were crispy and fried with a nice sweet soy sauce that wasn't too dressed or overpowering. We also got the oysters, which had a nice miso sauce that was light as well. Next we had the amberjack sashimi, and this cut was similar to a nice yellowtail and great quality. We also tried the maguro foie gras nigiri, which had a delicious meaty flavor. Finally, the Kani hotate roll had a nice truffle taste. Everything was delicious, not too heavy, and great quality. Would definitely recommend for Japanese food lovers!

The ambiance of this spot was lovely. Felt upscale & sleek yet in a laid back environment. My boyfriend & I came for their omakase experience which was only $79 for 12 courses, one of the more affordable ones I've had in the city. I really enjoyed that we were able to order food off the regular menu despite being seated for the omakase. I asked the waitress if they could make the matcha mocktail with some gin instead, & they were more than happy to do so!! Perfect for date night without breaking the bank, definitely would like to come back & try more of their regular menu items.

Stopped in here for a quick bite before a comedy show. We ordered the Ebi Unagi, Mango Salsa Salmon, and the Shiitake Avocado. The Ebi Unagi was good but didn't feel like anything special. The other two were great and I honestly would come back just for the Shiitake, it was perfect. The Jasmine cocktail was also great and had the perfect strawberry taste, flavorful but not too sweet. The one star off is really just because I wanted a little more out of the flavors. The service was great too! Our server was very attentive and she was incredibly respectful too. She made the ambiance feel even warmer. I really liked the decor and the atmosphere but just recommend a little more heat.

My husband and I really enjoyed our first visit to this newer sushi restaurant in Logan Square. I made last minute reservations on a Saturday night and we were seated right away when we arrived. To start, I ordered the Black Dice Cafe cocktail. This cocktail reminded me of the delicious tiki style drinks that I've had at other places. Spirit forward and refreshing. The chicken karaage and shiro miso Caesar salad were both great starters. The salad was my favorite between the two of them. We tried a few different rolls. I especially enjoyed the Kani Hotate and El Capitan maki rolls. I definitely want to try the surf and turf roll next time. My husband also did the hand roll omakase and enjoyed the selection. I was impressed with the freshness of the fish. There are a handful of other sushi restaurants in the Logan Square area, but I can't think of that many that feature such high quality fish at this price range. The interior design of the space, service, and food were all memorable. I highly suggest checking this place out.

So the plan was to go to Ramen Wasabi but the wait was way too long. Nomonomo was empty and they still asked if we had reservations. We did not. What can I say? I really wish I could have walked away impressed and content with our dinner. To claim "this is my go to sushi spot in Logan" to friends and family that come to visit me in Chicago. But unfortunately, it was underwhelming and so expensive. It is a beautiful, modern space with light wooden finishes everywhere that create a soft, welcoming environment. Our server was training since there was another server following her around. But he didn't introduce himself, I wasn't given an explanation of the menu or any passion behind the dishes. Service was okay. The omakase was served on a bowl over a bed of rice, which was new for me and I cannot remember the Japanese term for that. There was a term for the way it was served and I can't find it on the menu now. But we weren't given any description of any of the sashimi. I didn't really walk away with any highlights.

A new sushi spot dropped into logan square brining some delicious fish in a well designed and decorated spot that nicely opens to outside. The bar is beautifully designed and the happy hour give a you nice selection of bites and drinks. You have plenty of choices of rolls or sashimi/nigiri. I'm not sure exactly what I'd recommend other than grab a nice sample across the menu and you can't go wrong.

I thought it would be even more fun for my kids, and there was also an advantage of getting less full and trying more things since the rotary gave leas pieces at a time. Maybe because my expectations were too high, but I didn't feel like I enjoyed the food as much here as the non rotary location. I felt like I was waiting and waiting for the things I wanted on the rotary to come, and I also felt like a lot of things I really wanted were not on the rotary anyway. All hot foods were not on the rotary, though that makes sense because then it wouldn't come to you hot anymore. My kids did enjoy the rotary portion, and kept taking food off the conveyor belt, which in the end we had to eat before my kids eyes are bigger than their stomachs. We did get also the cheapest option for lunch, which did not come with dessert, which was a slight disappointment, but you do get what you pay for. I might be back here to give it one more shot. I always love ayce sushi so it was still decent, but I didn't leave wowed by this place.

I almost decided to save Miru for our next visit, but I'm glad I made time for breakfast here on our departure day. Located inside the St. Regis Chicago, the restaurant offers beautiful views. The service was excellent--attentive, friendly, and professional. I ordered the Tokyo Breakfast. The salmon was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with rice, a soft-poached egg, and salmon roe. The miso soup was slightly salty on its own, but it worked surprisingly well when enjoyed with the rice toward the end of the meal. Overall, a memorable breakfast experience. I'd love to return and try the lunch or dinner menu on my next trip to Chicago.

The sushi is phenomenal, as were our drinks... but the other entrees are disappointing. The karaage and duck yakisoba in particular in quality could be from any corner restaurant in Chicago. The service lends itself more casual, and I noticed they were consistently quite slow to clear our table. I don't think people come here for the food as much as the views. Overlooking Streeterville from this angle and vantage was truly jaw dropping and for this reason I still strongly recommend Miru.

My only critique is the pacing. Since the chef already had the fish sliced and prepped, I expected a smoother flow, but the meal took about an hour and a half for 14 pieces of sushi. It felt a bit slow, especially for a lunch service. That said, if you're looking for a reasonably priced omakase with quality fish, this is a solid choice.

Both were great. Our bartenders were lovely and very friendly. Found out this is a Malort tasting room and we were able to sample some different Malorts (the cocoa one was good!). Then we were taken back to our table for dinner. Our server was super friendly as well. Started with the miso soup and crispy tuna bites which were probably my favorite dishes. The taki yoki fritters weren't bad either. We saw people getting omakase, so we ordered a yummy looking piece they were receiving. It was just okay (chutoro truffle). The nigiri was also okay. The tuna piece was the only I really loved. The fish quality wasn't as high as I was expecting. The sushi was decent. A little too much truffle in the spicy blue fin tuna and a little too vegetable forward in the hamachi serrano. All in all, the atmosphere and amazing service pushed this up to a 4 for me.
