He explained that if the repair person is not very familiar with the phone, they can mistakenly break these two components. I was very grateful for the information, as I had not felt comfortable with the shop I'd taken it to previously. My phone was struggling immediately after I left the previous shop, but I was on my way to catch a flight and did not have time to return to the shop before my trip. My iPhone 15 Pro Max worked perfectly but did had a small crack in the screen at the top of the…read morephone. I decided to have Kwik replace the screen with an LED one for a cost of $204.59. That evening the phone begin to freeze up. It still functioned, I received calls and texts but the screen was frozen. The next day I returned to Kwik and they said that they again replaced the LED screen with another one. The problem did not go away. I would need to re-boot the phone at least 1-2 times per hour to use. Apple said that basically, Kwik ruined the phone. I had no choice to buy a new iPhone for $1100.00. Do not use this service for any repair on a phone unless you want one that is totally useless. I feel they totally ripped off a customer not only by charging $200+ for bogus repairs and then ruining a perfectly good, operable phone.
