I don't understand the hype. I've tried this place a few times and I continue to be disappointed. My husband ordered a salad with his entree and the lettuce came out black/brown and wilted. He sent it right back. The waitress never apologized. She never bussed our table throughout the dinner- we actually just started stacking our plates on an empty booth behind us to make room. The pizza sauce is too sweet, and I'm not a fan of the cracker crumb crust. Prices are pretty high ($3.50 for a soda???). And there's quite a smell when you walk in that I can't figure out what it is. read more

Really enjoyed my pizza to go! The pizza was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor, and the customer service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to update the prices on the website to match the in-store menu, as they were several dollars different when I visited. Kind of an old school grandmas kitchen vibe to the restaurant... food was pretty standard, if I'm in the area and I want to sit down for some pizza I'd probably stop in again but nothing crazy to report here. I will say the sauce was a little bland but threw some salt on top of the pizza and Parmesan cheese and it filled the gap for sure. Cheese curds were really good and the basket size was huge! As a big fan of thin crust pizza, I've heard great things about Nonna's in Sturtevant. We arrived for an early Sunday lunch. There were a few cars in the ample parking lot, & a few tables filled in the dining area. A nice, clean, bright restaurant, we were seated in a booth. We ordered cheesy garlic bread & a deluxe pizza. The garlic bread was a bit overdone, while the pizza was a bit underdone. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the ample toppings & had plenty leftover. Was it the best I've had? No. I'd personally seek out other options. read more

Go to real Wells Bros - not the Temu version - cost less and taste much better - not impressed

This popped up in my feed one day, I seen that pizza picture, and I thought, "Oh hell yeah!! It's on!!"Headed back to my childhood town of Durty Sturty (Sturtevant, WI). It's located in the old Elmwood Restaurant (IYKYK), now known as Nonna's. Nonna is what we called my Italian great grandmother, so it has a lil soft spot going already. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who was attentive. I was strictly getting pizza. Ordered a large half sausage, half pepperoni, all black olives. The crust was very similar to Well's Brothers, and that is right up my alley. It was nicely topped with a flavorful sauce. Needless to say, it was delicious!!! We will def be back. We stopped in a half hour before closing time and they cooked us up a delicious pizza to go. Yummy, yum, yum! We enjoyed it on our summer evening ride with all the thunder and lightning in the sky. Excellent thin crust, nice and cheesy, flavorful sauce, and sausage was great. We ordered it well done and it was cooked to perfection. It made for a tasty impromptu snack with plenty of leftovers. The reason for the 1 start is not the food it is the service. I arrived home late last Saturday and needed to find a place to eat. Checked online and Nonna's stated that they were open until 9 PM so I went there. It is my go-to place when I want a good pizza. I arrived at Nonna's about 8:20 PM and was told that they were no longer serving food for the day. I asked about being opened until 9 and was told, "yes, but are done serving" They should change to open hours to serving hour for accuracy. Not sure I will return. read more

My wife ordered their version of the Tour of Italy. At first glance, the plate looked like the dishwasher had cleaned off a bunch of dirty dishes unto my wife's plate. The waitress even had to point out that "the lasagna is in the middle". Beneath the Chicken Parmigiana and Fettuccine Alfredo lay a sad excuse for a lasagna. The meat was abnormal in color and tasted spoiled. She had a few bites of the Chicken Parmigiana and put her utensils down. She grabbed her napkin off her lap and covered her entree in disgust. She complained a bit to the waitress but nothing came of it. We paid the bill and made our way back home. We will never be back. Sorry, Glenn. I gave the place a chance and they failed. read more

I heard great things so was excited to try Nonna's. needless to say I probably won't go back. The crust of our pizza was delicious! That's where it ended. We ordered a sausage, fresh basil, and onion pizza. The sausage was sparse as was the basil. The onion was overpowering, even my onion loving husband agreed. The antipasto salad was mediocr. The staff was excellent and very friendly. But, I would rather go other places for pizza. read more

Great take out at both of their locations. Sausage pizza is our favorite. They were quick to answer the phone for our order

Our party of 13 arrived at 11:30 and we did not leave until 1:47! It was not because we lingered, it was due to poor service. We had our beverage order taken at 11:45, received the drinks about 10 minutes later and never received a refill. The orders were taken 30+ minutes later and the food arrived in drips and drabs, over the next 30-40 minutes. One friend did not receive her entire until most of us were finished, another as people were leaving asked for her take out pizza but it had not been made. Two ladies had to leave one before she even ate b/c she had a 1:00 appt. They seemed to be short staffed so I can't totally blame the waitress as things were slow from the kitchen. When the entrees came all commented they were just okay or fair. The only good comment was about the pizzas ordered. read more

Add the sauerkraut option for a little zing...no one will know if you don't tell them. Never had a bad meal here and the Friday fish fry is excellent too. Great service: friendly, prompt and always worth a 20%-plus Tip. Ambience is casual but new and nice.
