Had an hour to grab dinner before catching a piano recital, and my daughter recommended Kaiser's for pizza. We got there around 5:00 on a Wednesday, so the place wasn't full yet. To keep things easy and quick, we ordered a pepperoni pizza for the table. Service was quick, so it came without having to wait too long. The pizza was hot and tasty, with enough for four of us to share and then some. Kaiser's has a nice sized bar, and three dining areas. Plus video gambling. A nice place for families to get together and share a meal, or co-workers to grab a quick drink after work. Nice space, warm surroundings and an overall fun yet relaxed vibe. I have been coming here since I moved my boat to Kenosha. Great location and the pizzas are always perfect! However, in the last couple of summers we have noticed that the time to get a pizza has doubled! Last night, a Thursday we went to Kaiser's after and afternoon on the Lake. It wasn't busy. I ordered a drink, others just had water and since were hungry we jumped for an appetizer at the suggestion of the server. When the server brought my drink we placed our pizza order. Then 30mins went by but the server only came back to see if anyone needed drinks. Only water for all of us. Then the pizza arrived. It is obvious they delay making pizzas to make sure they sell appetizers and multiple drinks. We have noticed this only in the last two years. The servers are good and the pizzas magnificent... so just ask for water and the pizza, with no appetizers and you will be happy!!! read more

Unfortunately, this is one of the few pizza spots I wouldn't return to. Overall, everything we tried was underwhelming. The pizza nuggets appetizer was one of the driest dishes I've ever had -- completely lacking in flavor. The buffalo chicken pizza didn't deliver either; it was bland and didn't have the punch you'd expect from that style. "The Works" pizza was the best of what we tried, but even that didn't really impress. We also ordered green beans, which weren't to my taste -- though to be fair, that's not something I usually go for anyway. The highlight of our visit was definitely our waitress. Came on a Monday for lunch. My son just had gotten married at the courthouse. Stopped for snacks and some drinks. Service was horrible. Food came quick drinks were slow. Bartender with the bandana was very rude!! Only 2 other tables at the time. We were told we were too loud. It's a bar not a coffee shop. Then my daughter won $500 on pull tabs. We were told they couldn't pay us. We would have to come back. They couldn't pay out!!! So they live out of town. My husband will now have to drive a hour tomorrow to collect. Hopefully ... The place is clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Good pizza and sitting in the restaurant the pace is pretty decent. Not super slow or crazy fast. Good for a sit down restaurant. Our pizza was good as expected. Homemade chips were different from the last time, different seasoning, but good. We had some sweet potato fries and we kind of went sideways there. There was sugar on them. Being diabetic, this was a glaring issue since really who puts sugar on deep fried sweet potatoes? When we asked, our server coldly said it says it on the menu. Well fine then, I guess I skip those. Then we needed a to go order separate from our sit down. Again the overly curt server told us we can't order a separate item with a separate bill but we can go to the walk up desk and order separately. I understand not splitting bills (even though we have had it done several times already), but man, if you dislike being a server, find another job. Met granddaughter and her husband for pizza. We ordered, one 14" with half mushroom and half sausage. They ordered 16" half cheese and half pepperoni. Well our 14" came out and we waited for theirs to come but it never did. Finally the server came over and said did you have another pizza coming. We said yes and told him what it was. Well they never cooked it, about 1/2 later they bring the pizza which was wrong it was a 14" with cheese and half sausage. We told them it was the wrong one. They said it would take about 25 minutes for it to come out. The server never came back to give refills on the drinks. When the 16" finally came out we told her to box it up and she said then it's not 1/2 price! Told her that it's free because of all the trouble we had. We got there at 5:30 and left at 7:45. I will never go back because I feel they should have given us everything for free! They were very rude about it all, it wasn't our fault of there mess up. I will never be back there...have a closer pizza place near our house that will get our business from now on!! read more

I could see by the busy pizza take- out and deliveries that is king here, but there's much more to come in for-- the service (though stretched to cover all the tables), is terrific. Was in town to visit family over Memorial weekend and let them know we were in the mood for pizza and they told us they knew just the place. After hearing all of their great reviews about Kaiser's, we visited around 6:30pm on Friday, May 23. There was a bit of a wait as expected. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She took our beverage order right away and asked if she wanted to order any appetizers. We decided on the homemade chips & salsa, fried green beans, and beer nuggets which she informed us those would need about 20 minutes. For pizza, we ordered the thin crust buffalo chicken pizza with ranch instead of bleu cheese. My favorite appetizer was the fried green beans. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the beef nuggets. I thought they looked much better than they tasted. They lacked lots of flavor and could use cheese stuffed in them. I also thought they were very dense and dry. Chips and salsa are always a good idea. For the pizza, it wasn't my favorite Buffalo chicken. I thought it could use a nice drizzle of Buffalo sauce on top to give it that Buffalo flavor. It's your typical bar vibes here. Although, they do have slot machines in the bars in WI, not MN. I'd visit again, just try something different than what we got this visit. read more

It seems that this place gets a shit load of bad reviews on the customer service which is 100 percent true, the pizza is good no doubt, but not good enough to have to deal with the big mouth bar lady that wouldn't know good customer service skills if it slapped her in the face! Whoever runs Kaisers don't hire people the run good paying customers off, I mean don't you wanna bring more people in rather than run them out???? They were both so good and I had the coleslaw, that was the best coleslaw I've had in a long time. Arrival 7:30pm Exit 9:25pm We ordered- 2 14"pizzas (bbq pizza of the month and pep) and 2 apps ( beer nuggets and mozz sticks) 2 beers, 1 tea & 2 long islands Server- Candy? Ambiance was good normal bar look! 4 adults Food was great! Server was possibly inebriated. (HIGHLY you could smell it wafting off of her) We ordered our apps and food minutes apart. We didn't get our pizza until 8:50. Server arrived around 8:20 saying that the printer was having issues and didn't print out any tickets for food for the kitchen. Stating that they would be getting our pizza out soon that it was just going in the oven. Failure to check on your table and the kitchen should not be the customer service you receive after ordering that amount of food. She was actively chatting with the bartender and just hanging out. While we were there we even saw a bartender or server actually drink something that chugged a beer bottle. I wouldn't recommend going there on a Friday night with some friends if you have plans after. We missed ours so I bet you will too! One star just for the food:( read more

At first the place looks awesome. Cozy and such but.... The food was delicious until...... After we ate we were waiting for our check and tiny, tiny fleas were all over the pizza that we were eating. We had a 2 pieces left that were going take with us but decided not to when the tiny fleas were on them. That is a not very appealing. Especially since it is cold! Of all the restaurants in Kenosha that I have been to over the last 6 years Kaisers is the only place where if you go in a small group, let's say 3 couples. They will not do separate checks AND, will not take more than 2 cards per check. How ridiculous! It's not rocket science. This happened to us last night. We had a very nice and attentive server but when the check came we asked if she could give us three separate checks , that was a no, and then asked her to split the bill amongst three cards and she said she could not do that either only two cards per check . She stated it was management's policy .This is kind of new because we have visited frequently over the last six years and never had a problem with splitting checks and paying with multiple cards and paying the bill in a way we want to. Now we figured it out paid in cash and left her a 20% tip for her service, but the bartender overhearing our discussion obviously took offense to what we were discussing amongst ourselves. She called us stupid as we were leaving and was complaining to other patrons at the bar as to how stupid we were and then proceeded to tell us to get the hell out. Now I don't know about you but no one should ever be treated that way by a business in the service sector that depends on their reputation to succeed . The ownership of kaiser's needs to step up their game because this little down town is starting to expand and you're gonna get crushed, I will personally see to it. Our little group probably goes there between May and October at least once sometimes twice an over a weekend I don't think you want repeat customers like us dissatisfied in your operation because we will not patronize it again. You need to rethink your new policy of how people pay their bills. Oh, and get rid of your rude, not talented amateur bartender. Also, you should read your reviews because they're not all very good at all. We had the pizza and asked about the change in product, we were assured there were none, but we have been going there long enough to tell the difference. Monday night we ate at Kaiser's for half price pizza. We were greeted at our table by first class server Amanda with our favorite sodas and a big smile, she knows what we like. She is warm and welcoming with all of her customers. Amanda always keeps our sodas refilled and makes sure we have everything we need. Amanda knows our preferences. She is equally attentive to all of her tables. She keeps all of her customers happy and everything running smoothly. We normally love Kaiser's until this week. I called a few days back because we are having a party and asked if I could call the day before to place my pizza order for a timed delivery, the manager said that was fine. I called the day before my event to be told by a different manager they are not able to take orders that would not be delivered on the same day which is untrue because we have done this multiple times before. I asked why the last manager told me I could do this and she said "well he's new." So today, day of event, we called back just like we were instructed and they told us they couldn't take our order right now because they were booked for future reservations and we can call back even later to put our order in and hope it arrives on time when we need it! I'm so furious! The manage I spoke with wasn't even apologetic, she could have cared less! We were in there on a Saturday night not too long ago and they were not even busy! Total shocker... The pizza here is LEGIT!!! Ordered the thin crust sausage pizza and was blown away by the flavors! Sausage is real Italian sausage firstly not that processed pork crumble junk. Real Italian sausage! The crust is cracker thin, still dense and crispy enough to hold up under the cheese and sauce. The pie is cooked medium-well to well done, which allow the flavors on top to blend perfectly- Cheese, sauce, sausage all adding a bit to the mix to make and incredible pie. I'd liken it most closely to Chicago style thin crust than NY style. Only four stars because the bar staff, mainly the younger guy, always seems like he has better things to do and is miffed(rolls eyes) every time you have to flag him down.
