I have gone to both Nonna's locations before & the pizza here falls in line with what they were producing at either. Yes I am aware the old Caledonia one & Sturtevant have different owners. This new location is closer to the Sturtevant location in selection. Very good selection & wow the prices are very reasonable.....VERY!!! Not te that the reviews from before June 2026 are from the "old" carry out only Caledonia Nonna's Pizzeria. Came here for a Friday lunch with friends. Wait staff was very friendly to us considering it was a meet up with two couples both with 5-6 month old daughters. You ca get a filling meal plus take 1/3 home for $15 per person. I got the Calzone, you can't get them at many places that even sell pizzas. Nostalgia from when I was young. It was great size, filling, 3 toppings for $15. No up charge for getting 2 meats. Very good. Took 1/3 of it home for dinner later, was still delicious. My wife got the Buffalo Chicken Salad & it was a massive salad. Lots of chicken. Even after finishing just a little (our daughter kept getting fussy or jealous so we had to split our time holding her), when putting into the to-go container it filled to the brim of that. Our friends got the small pizza & a pasta with meatballs. Each had great portion sizes. Heck the small pizza seems expensive but when you think about how it can be a personal pizza & you just take 1/3 of it home, it is a great deal. Great place!!! Waitress was very nice to us & accommodating. Place is big inside. Ironically when the old DeRango's was here, we came here for carry out 4x but never once even peaked inside the restaurant portion. Interior was larger than I expected. Only possible negative was that it took at least 5-8 minutes from when we walked in for any person to walk from outside of the kitchen to the restaurant to notice there were people waiting to be seated. They only had one waitress since it was only lunch & she did a great job of managing all 6-8 tables of guests, but the hostess must do double duties between carry out & hostess. Maybe just add some sort of bell or noise that detects when someone enters & exits. read more

Ordered pizza and breaded cauliflower. Both came to the table very hot and delicious. Pizza had a nice crispy, thin crust. Service was great. Our waitress was on her second day working there. This is confusing as reviews on this site are for 3 different places. The new Sam and Will's, the now closed Nonna's Pizza on 4 Mile Road and Nonna's Pizzeria and Pub in Sturtevant. So I had my first experience at Sam and Will's. Pizza was great, eggplant strips were so-so. But service was a disaster, near chaos. Called in my order and was told 30-35 minutes. It was 50 minutes plus. Got to the place and the parking lot, and it is a big one, was virtually full. Maybe 4 empty spots. Walked in to the carry out/pick up area and there were maybe a half dozen guys waiting for their orders. While I was waiting another several guys arrived. One young lady was answering the phone, taking orders, and collecting the money. She was swamped to the point of being overwhelmed. Handed her my credit card and she gave me a receipt. Asked her for my card back. Said she gave it to me. No, see the slot in my wallet for the card is empty. Checked all my pockets. No card. So we played that game for a few minutes. She found it. She had dropped it on the floor. Finally got my order and got out of there. Great pizza, really poor service and crowd management. Can chalk it up to opening week nerves or whatever but these are not restaurant newbies. There is the original Wells Bros and the 3 I've already mentioned. They simply need to be better staffed and organized. I'm going to stay away from there for awhile and let things settle down a bit. But is this place turns out to be the north side equivalent to Wells Bros I'll be staying away for quite some time. That place is always mobbed. read more

Nonna's comes in second to wells bros but this location is closer to my house. I love their fried chicken meal here. they usually sell out of the tiramisu, it's REALLY good so if they have it, grab one. The pizza here is good but I personally like the pastas the best. read more

Tried Sam and Wills for the first time this week. Pizza was tasteless and sauce lacked flavor. I also had the penny pasta with meatballs which was bland as well. They forgot my side salad with house dressing which I was most excited for. Going back to Infusion's. read more

Thin crust pepperoni thin crust pizza was fine, crispy crust and crust was nice and thin. Chicken parm was different, chicken was heart shaped and it was bland and sauce has an Anais taste. First time and it was a great experience. Decided to grab dinner on the spur of the moment so had to wait but it really wasn't too long. Food was excellent. Ordered buffalo wings & fries, an order of onion rings, and a small white pizza. Being new to the area, well really to the state, I enjoyed the crust which is definitely different than I'm used to. Reminded me of how my mom would put cornmeal on the pizza pan before spreading the dough. Nice thin crust that held up to the cheese and toppings very well. At about 4:55 on Dec. 30 we ordered a pizza to be ready for pick-up at 5:30. When we arrived and they said, "Just a couple minutes." Thirteen minutes later - the time it takes to make and bake a pizza - it was ready. If they had been honest and said, "Sorry, we didn't get it in," that would have been one thing. To lie and say it was almost ready and then make it, is another. And after all that, the pizza was not good. We live in the neighborhood and this is the closest pizzeria. We have been there often, but probably won't be back. read more

The pizza is good, to me it's the right amount of greasy. The appetizers though-I wouldn't order again. The basket trio- the fried pickles batter was pretty poor looked so grainy. Didn't taste the best. Cheese curds were good. The jalapeño poppers were alright as well. They need to work on their fried pickles batter is all. if you want cold tasteless food this is the place. We have eaten here before but it's been awhile and found the food to be good. We know the history of the owner who comes from a great family line that is well known for their Italian heritage and authentic Italian cuisine here in Racine. We called ahead to make a reservation for 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 kids. We arrived on time and we were put at one of the worst tables in the restaurant as our chairs were bumped throughout our stay, this was annoying but it was a busy Friday so we kind of just sucked it up. The waitress took about 15 minutes to come and take our drink order then came 15 minutes later to take our food order. The first clue as to any issues at this restaurant was the couple next to us that got up and as they walked by they said that they had been waiting over an hour to get their food. We ordered garlic bread for an appetizer which I have to say was very good and was polished off quickly. Our food came about 40 minutes later. We were all very hungry especially the kids. Calzone for one, small pizzas for two, spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli and finally tortellini with Italian sausage. I didn't take long for the adults to realize that all the food was cold. I understand that some things are premade but c'mon even the pizza Was cold. How is that possible? We finally decided to say something to the waitress who was genuinely upset that we told her that the food was cold and by the eye roll this is not the first time she has heard this complaint. She said she would talk to the manager. Meanwhile the kids are gobbling away at cold pizza while the adults sat and stared at food that was cold. The manager came by and we told her our concerns. the calzone was edible and we decided to just take it home and heat it up for leftovers. Same with the ravioli and what was left of the pizza. The tortellini (which happened to be my choice) had a very bland taste to it and the Italian sausage consisted of finally ground meat that tasted old (and yes it was also cold). I asked for spaghetti and meatballs as a replacement as I figured it would be quick and is a staple in any restaurant especially an Italian one. The spaghetti and meatballs were hot and the spaghetti was good But once I took a bite of the meatballs I realized that it had the same finely ground consistency as the Italian sausage and very bland. We decided to take just take the leftovers home as we figured we paid for it and we could at least mix it in with our dogs food . The manager took 20% off of our bill and gave us a $25 gift certificate. In conclusion I think the restaurant has lost the basic drive for quality Italian cuisine that made them a great little place and the "go to" restaurant like they were when they first opened. The staff looked very fatigued and not a smile to be seen on their faces. The food was bland, cold and obviously all seemed to be pre prepped and their food handling is obviously off otherwise we would have eaten hot food. Our bill was $85 and left the server $15 so in total $100. We will never go back to Nonna's There is an old saying that seems appropriate, A satisfied customer is just that a satisfied customer and may tell no one..... A unsatisfied customer will make it a point tell everyone about their dissatisfaction...... read more

Italian Beef Sandwich The worst. Didn't even take a bite out of my sandwich a found a hair inside. Aren't hair net's mandatory in a kitchen? Disgusting! Ended up eating 1/2 of my fiancé's sandwich. Italian beef sandwich. Who puts grilled onions and peppers in this sandwich? Nothing on the menu states that it comes this way. The only thing good were the fries. Hot peppers were mild, beef was dry even with the cheese. No auju. I guess the hair and that was optional. 26 min from ordering to table for a sandwich and fries. Acoustics were terrible. Your pizza is what enables you to open a new place. The pizza I had isn't as deserving. I love the cracker crisp thin crust, but the pizza I got was just a thick layer of cornmeal. Tell the youngsters making the pizza to not be so lazy about it. This was not a wells brothers pizza or even a close relation. This was a hurry up and bake it pizza. Do better next time. read more

This is a place with awesome pizza and many more great items to order. We haven't ordered too many times here. But when we have the food is great. The only thing I have to say, sometimes it is impossible to get an order placed. The phone is busy sometimes for going on a half hour. It made us go else where to order, when we really wanted to order here. I would like them to have a quick order turn around by phone. You can't order on line, like other places. Tried calling to make reservations for a Friday evening party of 5. Called various times of the day over 2 days only to receive a generic greeting to leave a message (establishment not identified on voicemail). No one returned my phone call. Physically had to drive there to make a reservation. On Friday night, seated promptly and then proceeded to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our pizza. Once the pizza was served it was barely lukewarm (the cheese was not stringy and temperature was barely warm) and had the wrong toppings on it (both pizzas were to have pepperoni - both came out with green peppers - not sure if it was a server issue or chef issue but after 80 minutes, it was very disappointing), only 2 onions found on the whole pizza, and the sauce was non-existent on the outer 2 inches but pooled in the middle. They were gracious to remake them but as a birthday celebration, this was not how we intended to spend the evening. The count of beverages was also wrong overcharging on the number we ordered. Thought we would try Nonna Wells pizza, thinking it would be almost as good as Wells Brothers. What a disappointment. We ordered the antipasto salad, again thinking that it might be close to the salad at Wells Brothers. No such luck. Dressing was without seasoning, just a bit of oil in small plastic containers. Salad was good size but without a good dressing, a salad is just lettuce and stuff. The pizza was soggy and nothing like the crispy crust of Wells Brothers. The sauce was without flavor making the pizza a sloppy tasteless mess. Next time we will be going to Wells Brothers or Mike & Angelos. Would not give this place a second chance. read more

Delicious THIN CRUST pizza. I've been getting pizza at Nona Wells since they opened a few years ago and have never been disappointed. No skimping on toppings and all quality ingredients. I especially love the cornmeal under the pizza. This time I also ordered the garlic bread. I ordered with cheese. LITS of cheese but the bread was still crispy but not hard. I'll order that again and next time I think I'll try it without cheese. I'm sure I'll be just as happy. Excellent food with always courteous and friendly staff.
