It's a shame to condemn what's possibly a nice place to eat based on abuse from one hash slinger but I'm a one strike guy. First time been there and the last. Things are normal and nice at first, a guy behind the pizza counter comes out to wipe down a table for me as I'm eating dinner and wearing an $80 tie. So I sit for a bit and the hash slinger rushes up and asks if I want anything to drink. I order a water and a coke. Comes back with the water and slides it across the table like I'm in a Saloon in Tombstone and she's Large Marge. Okay maybe she's in a mood but it's not crowded and I'm not getting it. So that was the water. Next Charming Harmful Marge walks at me and I pick up the menu in anticipation, to make it easy to see what I'm ordering. You know - pointing. Do it all the time and no one has an aneurism. But Large N In Huffy Charge ain't havin' it and barks something dismissive and blows off even THINKING about taking my order. Next, Jaws steams back and here's why Nonna's a no go for me. Remember the $80 tie? The one I was sportin'? Well P'd Off Chow Carrier smacks flat the glass brimming with cola so hard onto the table I get cola backsplash on my largely white tie -- ruining it and she does this while passing the table maintaining her back to me as she passes to again show me NO ORDER FROM YOU! Pasta Nazi once again sends the unmistakeable message: "I'm not taking your order until I'm good and ready." I left. $80 tie ruined. Now could I have confronted her and reminded her I did nothing to be treated like an idiot and then demand $80? No. Could I have subtly let her know I found her behavior offensive with a bad tip? No way. I'd probably be wearing marinara sauce on my chestal (sic silly) area from slung food if I tried to talk sense into her. No, I left and I'm yelped. What else can you do? We did get a free salad by accident so I gave it to my coworker and she said thank god it's free because it tastes like laundry detergent (arugula salad) Love coming here but I spent 28$ on a small Ceasar salad when chicken and a slice of white pizza. However I noticed that since Rosario left, the food is not the best and the host and other personal less friendly, less accomodating, more rude. Always been to the traders joes here and read good things about the pizza here. Def did not disappoint! Ordered on a Sunday afternoon and it was ready in 15 minutes. The guys inside were pumping out pizzas like there's no tomorrow and were very Italian and friendly! Ordered the large Noonas pie and it was delicious. While in town visiting - my in-laws did catering from Nonnas last night. I didn't try all the dishes they brought in, but some were so good that I had to write about them. The three things to get here are: Meatballs - massive and wonderful taste Eggplant Parmigiana - even if you don't like Eggplant, this will convert you Chicken Giambotta - nice spice to the dish. If I could have - I would have kept eating these three dishes all night. I sampled the Pizza and Penne Sofia, but paled in comparison to the other three dishes. I loved that they catered from them so that I was able to try so many things! read more

Never going back there unless they retrain their staff because they are flat out rude. As a customer I should never feel like I'm inconveniencing my waiter/waitress but unfortunately that's how they make me feel before, during, and after the meal. Went on a Friday night. It was super busy. I ordered a pizza to go and wings. I called ahead and it was ready by the time I got there. I got three toppings on it and the crust was incredibly soggy. Just returned home from Nonna's and my wife and I had an outstanding meal, great service, and very reasonable prices. First, we were served free of charge a salad (with peppers, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes). I had stuffed rigatoni bolognase, and my wife linguini with clams. Servers and employees at the counter not wearing masks over their nose and constantly touching their masks, our server was clearing dirty dishes then bringing out food (prob the worst part), regular menus handed to us, bread basket brought with ripped open butter packets thrown on top of the bread, and no soap in the women's room (I told them and they addressed it.) Bottom line- I would recommend ordering take out if you choose to eat from here since the food is very good, just hope there's no Covid particles in your food since they don't cover their noses. The food is here is absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat! You can carry out or eat in so we decided to grab a table and have dinner there. I've been coming here for years. I've never had a bad meal. It's a casual eatery, perfect for families as well. It's byo which always helps keep the cost down. The prices are reasonable and the service is always on point. Everything from the pizza to the meals to the salads are delicious. Highly recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza. Our waitress worked hard to take care of us the entire time. And the food was flowing! We ate two types of salads, grandma pizza, penne a la vodka, garlic pasta, lemon chicken, caprese salad, tea/coffee (including decaf), and eggplant parmesan. Ordered from Nonna's for a work lunch for our team. We ordered a couple of pies. Cheese, meat lovers, veggie, and margarita. Also got salad and garlic knots. I tried the cheese and margarita and really enjoyed them and also the knots. The knots came with the traditional marinara sauce which was good! Thin, crispy crust (just perfect) the tomatoes so deliciously sweet and tender, and the cheese was in just the perfect amount... really....the best pizza I've had in a long time!!! The escarole and bean soup was excellent!!! My only reason for taking 1 star off....is that I had to ask for bread, and the bread was not warm...it was a little bit of a let down, but just a minor minor complaint. Made an order and the delivery came after an hour later with a wrong order. Not the pie or drinks that I ordered. Called the restaurant and they said they would deliver my order within 30mins because it's less than 10 mins driving distance from where I was but ended up arriving 50 mins later instead. I ordered their famous "Nonna's Pie", it came cold and the taste was really average. Nothing more or less than average. Thin crust was a bit too hard to chew in some areas. Not sure where the disconnect was but I ordered this place for take out via Uber eats. I read a review or two about wrong orders being delivered but had faith. When my delivery driver showed up, I noticed the order was completely wrong. Not sure how but even if the driver was an idiot (different story) I am surprised Nonna's didn't double check. Is the pizza good? Sometimes. It all depends on the day and time Of day. The food other than pizza ? Yuck. I mean they should just stick with the pizza I admit, when it's right it's delicious but I've had it a times when it's soggy crusted. Recently I had the chicken scarp. Just dreadful. First of all the chicken was tough as can be, the sausage tasted like old food. As if it had been cooked days earlier and dried out completely. the sauce was just loaded with balsamic vinegar. I feel like I was eating tough chicken and sausage that's overly dry doused with vinegar sauce "Old food " is how I best describe it Even the salad was not thoughtfully produced. When you have cucumber slices that are 2 1/2 inches in circumference it's laughable I mean you need a fork and knife to cut the cucumber piece it feels like someone was too lazy to carefully cut the salad into the right size It just feels like carelessness to me I even tried the rolled eggplant Parmesan. I think they have good pizza when everything goes right, but they were having an off day when I ordered, which happens. Its just the mistakes took away a bit this time. Ordered chicken soup, mozzarella sticks, margarita pizza, Neapolitan pizza, and a Nonna's pizza for delivery via ubereats. While I ordered chicken soup, I received pasta Faggioli soup. Which was fine taste wise, just not what I ordered. For the mozzarella sticks and the pizza, there was a common theme of everything being underdone with the exception of the Nonna's pizza. About a little more than half of the mozzarella sticks where very light colored, and I wound up cooking them some more in the oven to try and make them more golden brown, which worked out. They're the longer/thinner type of mozzarella stick. There was a similar issue with the plain pizza and the margarita pizza being undercooked. The pizza had almost no hold to the slice after an inch or two, and I missed the nice crispy texture/crunch you get when biting through the bottom of a slice. The pizza was honestly better the next day when I put the slices in the oven to heat up and they more fully cooked. The plain pizza was ok, the margarita pizza had really nice slices of basil and had a good amount of sauce. Their sauce is a bit sweet for my taste personally, but still is a good pizza sauce. The Nonna's pizza was the best overall of this bunch, it was the most cooked, had a nice crunch and was a good thin slice. I will eat here again and see how that goes. read more

My wife and I have been longtime (15 yrs +) customers of Nonna's and happily drive the 30 minutes it takes us to travel there from where we live. The pizza needs no introduction, excelling as it does, as do the sandwiches, but Nonna's offers MUCH more than that - just in case you weren't aware. The Baked Ziti is exceptionally good, as are their chicken dishes, particularly the Chicken Giambotta and Cacciatore. The fish (other than the fried calamari) though tends to get overlooked - for reasons I cannot understand. The shrimp, clams and mussels are some of the best (and freshest) I've ever tasted and the Zuppa de Pesce is phenomenal. I also adore their marinara sauce, which is flecked with pieces of fresh garlic and lovingly prepared with what clearly are imported tomatoes; that if not Marzano are their closest cousins.
