Amazing food, so tasty and fresh. Awesome portions and a good bang for your buck. Excellent location quick on and off ramps. Timely from order to table. The fresh hot mustard is delicious! Tried the Lo Mien and I'm glad I did! It was good stuff. The best I've had with tender chicken and perfect noodles! This is a must visit.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in SLC near Milcreek Canyon. I went here for lunch and got the lunch special. It comes with a main course, rice (white or ham fried), and an appetizer. All the food was delicious! The egg rolls were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The veggies were cooked perfectly! The service is fast and incredibly friendly. She was attentive the whole time and checked on us to keep our drinks filled. The ambiance is delightful with wonderful music playing. It's clean and inviting with tables to accommodate parties of any size. I will definitely be back!

    Pon Pon Chicken!!!

Came back a year later and the pon pon chicken was still amazing. The sesame chicken I stole from my partner was also soooooo good. Would still recommend! Great service and restaurant! Soup was amazing too. Love the decor!

I legitimately do not understand how this place has such good reviews. We ordered from Door Dash because it had good reviews and felt like trying something new. This was, by far, the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. The Vietnamese egg rolls were completely raw, super greasy, and soggy. They smelled...off. I don't know how else to explain it, like not fresh ingredients. The General Tso's was bone dry, barely any sauce. We luckily had a bottle of sweet and sour in the fridge that we were able to use so it had at least some flavor to it. The beef pan fried noodles also had zero flavor. The sauce was more of a light ramen broth, rather than a thicker sauce like one would expect from pan fried noodles. We had to eat it in bowls like a soup. Maybe that's the way they've made it, but in my 45 years on planet earth, I've never had pan fried noodles like that, and it's a dish we order quite often. The fried rice was bland and the Thai tea tasted like straight sugar milk. We spent $60, barely ate any of it, and threw the rest away because it was just not good. Will not be back.

Ordered takeout from Pan Wok on a Sunday evening (thanks for being open on Sunday!). Online ordering is quick and easy and we decided to pick up instead of exploring delivery options. Our order was ready on time (even a bit early), hot, and ready to go. The restaurant is clean and inviting and we wouldn't mind going back to eat there in person. The dinner specials are a good value and we really liked the General Tao chicken and veggie Kung Pao. The fried rice wasn't exceptionally flavorful, but tasty, and the cream cheese wontons are simple and only contain sweet-ish cream cheese. Our only disappointment was the egg drop soup, which basically tasted like hot egg water.

The General Tsao's use to be so good! But they changed the recipe and it's like every other place. Probably won't be back and I use to go all the time.

I am so incredibly disappointed and will not be coming back. The change in ownership has ruined it. The portions for the combination dinners are cut in half but still the same price. The cream cheese wontons were dry and there was almost no filling at all. It looks like it got cooked down to nothing. We are so upset that our favorite neighborhood Chinese place is gone. Pan Wok isn't the same.

No flavor....again right in the trash

Orange chicken---had no orange flavor, actually tasted like vaguely like mini donuts......I've ordered orange chicken 1000s of times at a 100 different places and this takes the cake for the worst ever. Lo Mein-----slimy overcooked noodles, zero flavor Wontons----got home and they weren't in the bag the one thing that couldn't be screwed up was simply forgotten from our order. 35$ and right in the trash 2 minutes after opening the take out bag. Containers were wrapped nicely and rice wasn't terrible.....not sure how places like this stay in business. Save yourself some trouble and just go to Panda Express.

For starters, we ordered the Wor Wonton Soup. The broth was rich and hearty. The shrimps were large and plentiful. All the vegetables blended in with the flavors. I just wish the beef was a little more tender. A little marinade in baking soda would fix this. We ordered some chicken lettuce wraps. This has minced chicken, celery, bamboo shoots, and carrots. These are good by themselves but are best with hoisin sauce. I just wish the lettuce leaves were bigger. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was also good. The sauce had a nice blend of mayo, honey and lemon. It had a little too much breading for me but still tasted good. For $16.99, I wished there was a bit more shrimp. One thing I really appreciate - they GLAZE the walnuts! This is one of the few places that I actually like the sauce and they glaze the walnuts! The Crispy Beef is definitely my favorite. In fact, I think this is better than the one I get from Red Maple. It was not too sweet and had just the right amount of heat. Again, I really wish they would marinate the beef in baking soda to soften it up. The last dish we ordered was the Garlic Chicken. The server forgot to put the order in for this dish and there was a rush to get it out to us. They forgot to put garlic in this dish so wee sent it back. It was perfect when it came back. This place is fast becoming our go-to-place for Chinese Food. It's was a nice surprise and I'll can't wait to try the other dishes!

This tastes like mom's kitchen if mom had a high flamed gas stove. The dishes that benefited from that smoky hot wok flavor had it. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of all the dishes at the table. Green beans with garlic was so tasty, I finished the leftovers the same night, I remembered to take a photo in the takeout container. The cauliflower (I don't know the actual name but it's stir fried, spicy and comes with peppers) had wok hei and I couldn't stop eating it. Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better. If you happen to stop by the largest Costco in the world, make a pit stop here to refuel after all those steps.

I couldn't tell you what they put in it other than to tell you, it doesn't matter. Well I could tell you that it has green onion and char siu. The thing I order every single time is the beef roll. The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Conveniently, we are in town for a couple days and our hotel is just right down the road. It was only right to mark this joint off my SLC food list. We came in around 5 and it was empty. My MIL and I picked a booth by the windows. I enjoy seeing the buzz of this city. It's was chaotic outside but so chill inside. It was nice to have the joint to ourselves. Jay served us tonight. He dropped off a couple menus and got some waters started for us. It was my MIL's first time trying Vietnamese cuisine. It took her a minute to breeze over the menu. As much as I wanted everything, I started off with a cup of the hot and sour soup. For dinner I got the black bean shrimp with veggies. My MIL decided on the bun thit nuong with cha gio. Last minute my MIL decided on some hot and sour soup too. They were dropped off first and it was perfect for hot soup on this cold winter day. The broth was thick and flavorful. It had hearty pieces of tofu, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. The soup had a good heat to it. The heat didn't hit you right away, it gradually got spicier the more you ate it. My mouth was burning towards the end of my bowl. It was good but it could have been a bit more sour. My plate of black bean shrimp and veggies came out hot! The veggies looked fresh and colorful. The shrimp were plump. And the sauce smelled flavorful and salty from the fermented black bean. You can tell my dish just came out fresh from the wok. The veggies and shrimp were so hot! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The zucchini, green peppers and bamboo shoots were my favorite. All the veggies were covered in sauce, probably the best way to eat your veggies. I ate the whole plate! I'm not the biggest fan of water chestnuts and I even polished those off. My dish was fantastic. Jay did a great job serving us tonight. He was patient and attentive. He checked up on us several times even though he was so busy with to go orders. The location of this joint was so convenient. Even though it was freezing out, it was cool to walk to dinner. But it's also got to know they have parking available for their guests. Jay did a great job taking care of us tonight. And the food was spot on. I still have quite a few places I need to hit up when I'm in SLC but if we stay in the area again, I will have to hit up Red Lotus again. It was hands down a great meal and experience.

The egg rolls were a little different from what we'd consider traditional but they were good. I also had the sweet n sour soup which was good. The Peking wings were crispy and piping hot on the inside. Would absolutely order again. The shrimp pad thai was sweet and delicious.
