Wife and I stopped by today to have lunch as I searched yelp and seen that it was in the top 10, and now I know why. This place is small so either get there early or get ready to stand and watch other eat. Although that's good as you can see what everybody orders. We ordered the pork pan-fried Boa and those things are short of amazing. They were cooked perfectly and had a wonderful taste. We both ordered the beef noodle with clear and a beef noodle in spicy. For sure spicy is the way to go. The original was good but the spicy took it to another level. Noodles were cooked perfectly and the beef was nice and tender. They make the noodles from scratch right in front of you. Seriously the coolest setup, and the sweetest staff. They cook with artistic flair, it's like watching a cooking show. We had: 1. Beef potstickers. Tender, juicy, full of flavor. Perfectly fried on the bottom to give a thin crisp layer. 2. Spicy wonton: Their chili and sesame oil combo is hard to come by. Incredible. 3. Scallion Pancake: Thin, light and crispy. The curry sauce that comes with it is AMAZING! 4. Chowmein (Chicken): Perfect ratio of sauce to noodle. Came with veggies, eggs, onions and peppers, and the flavor was crazy good. 5. Roasted Chicken Soup: Fresh, clean, another example of perfect proportions between broth and noodle. 6. Every time we visit Midland, we have to eat at least one meal at Noodle House. The interior is clean, though not a large establishment. The waitresses are attentive. Our party likes the pork potstickers, beef steamed dumplings, beef noodles with spicy broth, and chicken fried rice. While you wait you may be fortunate to watch them pull the noodles. All the food the delicious. As your food is prepared it is brought to the table. I noticed that at some other tables this was a problem because some would have their food for a while before others were served. Overall, we will continue to visit Noodle House and enjoy our favorites. read more

We were visiting from SA for a show we had at com aquatics. I looked up some spots and I saw this one. Being that we are from the islands we're pretty picky about our noodles. Fried rice was bomb! Came here hungry as a bear. I think it was around 2:30 in the afternoon but they still had few people in there munching. I did notice fair amount of employee around the place so I assume it gets pretty busy during peak hours. I went ahead and ordered me some spicy beef, fried buns, chinese pancakes and beef noodle soup. No I'm wasnt planning to finish all that. First came the spicy beef, it's basically a braised beef shank sliced thinly and served cold. The portion was monstrous, and had alot of sauce to it (not common). It is pretty spicy so be careful of what you ask for. Next came my fried buns, good. Not juicy and it's all meat inside. I believe you can pick between pork and chicken. Last came the beef noodle soup and the chinese pancakes. I was pretty disappointed by the pancakes, it was too crispy all around, it felt like I was eating a cracker or something. They served it with a curry sauce like it was roti canai, do not recommend. Their beef noodle soup had a very unique taste to it, I think its star anise but not 100% sure. At least it's something close to it so if you dont like that then don't get it. The beef they used for the noodle were the same as the one I got served in spicy beef. The noodle though, was good. I think they make their own noodles from scratch and it's one of those noodles that's long long and long. They even offered to cut the noodles when they brought it out. Service wise, it was ok. waitress didnt come check on me at any point. Owners were eating in the middle table turning back to look at me a couple of times. If you find yourself in Midland, TX. then I mostly feel sorry for you. However, go check out Noodle House. They make the noodles fresh throughout the day and you can certainly tell from the taste. There is no tofu which is a shame, but you can get just vegetables on their dishes if you are vegetarian. Sorry but no options for vegans...that I know of. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and parking can get tough for lunch, but it is worth it once you eat. ENJOY! read more

I was hoping to be blown away by this place but unfortunately we were not. I tried the spicy beef noodle soup, scallion pancakes and steamed beef dumplings. The hand pulled noodles were good and right chewiness however the soup was flavorless, which was disappointing. The scallion onion pancake was just okay. I've had much better in Austin. The sauce that came with the pancake was a curry sauce which I didn't expect. My boyfriend ordered the dried noodles with beef and was quickly sick after we got back to the hotel. I'm a little late on this review but better late than never so as mean my family are driving through I found this spot in the area in could I love dumplings I had to check it out this playing in parking outside and when you walk in it is crowded since we came early you can see them making homemade dumplings and noodles how cool is that there are not many Restaurants that make their food from scratch so I am impressed. Just seeing them make there items from scratch I'm already in a happy food mode and my tummy can't wait to have some fresh made to order Dumplings as you can see from my pictures we ordered a little bit of everything I have no complaints everything we ordered was delicious it was truly a delight for my tastebuds me and my family enjoyed our meal It was cooked perfectly every bite into a dumpling was full of flavor, even as I am writing this review it makes my mouth water that I wish I was closer so I can have more if that doesn't tell you how good their food is I don't know what more I can say except that this is definitely a must stop when I'm driving through this part of Texas it's well worth the trip my taste buds just can't wait to revisit this Noodle House again read more
