Spontaneously stopped by at this restaurant with my brother and chose this place because of the reviews! Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted. Although it was dead with no customers, still like the fact that we were greeted at least. The restaurant was very clean however it was very hot inside. Order; Spicy Wonton for appetizer; 10/10 - perfect sauce and chili oil ration filled with flavors Beef Brisket Noodle Soup; 10/10 - my brother enjoyed his food. they were able to give him pickled vegetables on the side. broth was delicious and very beefy! Mongolian Beef Chow Mein: 10/10 - honestly one of the best chow mein i've had so far! filled with lots of flavor and tendered beef. the portion was a lot, TO-GO for sure! Stopped by with my friend for dinner because of the great reviews! The restaurant isn't very large but there are a few different seating spaces available. Interior and bathrooms are very clean. There are a lot of different appetizer and noodle options on the menu. We ordered one beef brisket noodle to share, a spicy wonton, crispy satay tofu, and onion pancake. The pancake was definitely the favorite. It was seasoned so well and super crispy and flakey. It paired really well with the sauce in the spicy wontons! Definitely recommend the combo. The spicy wontons are a nice subtle spice, not an in your face spicy. The actual wontons are also very tasty. The satay tofu was a lot larger than we expected. The tofu is cut into generous slices and is stuffed with bean sprouts. It was very refreshing and sauce was great. The disappointment of the night was the beef noodle soup. The actual noodles were chewy and beef was tender. However, the overall dish was super salty and the soup wasn't the best. Well, I am out here on a work conference and have a craving for some beef noodles soup. Swipe thru Yelp!and found this. This place has many rave reviews so I decided to come in and fulfilled my tasted bud. The server recommended the Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle Soup with their famous daily hand made noodles. Later the server tell me with with this dish, the patron can add various meat to it with $4.00 extra of their selections of meat. In this dish, I got 5 piece inch wide beef chunk meat. These meat were stew to its perfection by its chef! They melts in your mouth! As the noodles were explained by the server that they made fresh daily. Once you bit into it, you can tasted it smoothnesses of these Artisanal of noodles!! The texture of these noodles are comparable to be succulent! Umami!! I like how this restaurant prepares the Szechuan Chicken in Chili Oil. I had a similar dishes in San Diego. They prepared it without any chicken bones in them. And they have make them more sweeter vs the San Diego dish. Maybe I did tell the server, I am weak in the spicy department She also recommended the House-made Lemon Grass Tea. I got the yibin burning noodle dish, the popcorn chicken, and my boyfriend got the chicken fried rice. As the name implies, I should've expected the heat with the yibin noodles but it was delicious through the heat. The noodles (which are house made daily) were delightfully chewy and had a satisfying bouncy texture. It paired perfectly with the popcorn chicken and I loved the light and crispy basil leaves. My boyfriends chicken fried rice had perfectly plump, separated grains of rice. You can taste the smokey wok flavor and it's one of the more superior fried rice dishes I've had among Asian eateries. I was craving some Chinese food and this place popped up on my yelp feed. It's located in a little shopping plaza about 3-5 miles away from the strip. I didn't know it was in the same plaza as Fukuburger, which is also a really good place to grab a burger. You should check that place out too if you're ever in the area and want a good burger. Anyway, I got the beef brisket noodle and onion pancake. I placed the order to go and it was ready in like 5 minutes. The food was still hot after a 10 minute drive back to the hotel. The portion size is pretty big and the noodles were really good and flavorful. The beef was tender and the noodles were nice and chewy. I took off a star because the onion pancakes were really greasy and tasted just alright. Many different things on the menu that look pretty good. I can genuinely say there are not enough places to get fresh noodles in Las Vegas. This is one joint I do recommend if your looking for such. We were seated and greeted right away. It's a very small venue. Lots of parking easy access. A lot of good choices on the meh and a few creative appetizers. We definitely wanted to try the beef rolls but ended up getting pot stickers with the onion pancakes. Which come with a sweet sauce, which I you can use in just a bout every dish. Came here for the first time tonight and it was delicious! We had the fish ball appetizer. Nice satay peanut sauce on top. We had C1 - Yibin Burning Noodle. 3/3 chili peppers and man it was spicy! So so yummy though. Flavor was fantastic! We also had D2 - Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle. 2/3 chili peppers. So good! Exactly what you want in a dish like that. At first I thought all the 5 star reviews are fake, then I came here and went 3 days in a row. The non signature dishes are mediocre, popcorn chicken is not tender and have too much coating, tofu and beef roll taste bland. However, they simply serve the best beef noodle in the US, the noodle quality is surprisingly good, so I have no other choice than giving a 5 star. Just hope the beef tendon can do half and half, other than substitute all the beef brisket to beef tendon. The house water doesn't taste like tap water which is good, the service is great too. Noodlehead is a gem! You are off the main road in Chinatown, and it's a little bit farther from the Strip, but it is absolutely worth it. The ambiance, decor, and the name of the restaurant make it look like it's a fusion place, but it absolutely isn't. The food is delicious, authentic, and priced very fairly. They make their own noodles in house, and you can also order their hand cut noodles for a surcharge. We've been here a couple times, but my personal favorites are the popcorn chicken or calamari for the appetizers and the beef noodle soup. Personally, I think you can pass on the fried rice. My husband loved the mongolian beef noodles (his personal favorite), but I thought it was a little sweet. The dry rub/seasoning that they put on the popcorn chicken and calamari is... wow, addicting. I could eat a whole spoonful of it. The price, flavor, quantity (the portions are HUGE!), ease of parking and finding the place, this is definitely a personal favorite in this area. The best part about Noodlehead is their excellent service and attentive servers. We were asked during their grand opening what we thought and what could be improved. Always glad to hear they have an open mind. They have a small amount of work to tweak their recipes. Only real criticism is that their spiciness levels were slightly inaccurate, as a 1 spice dish was much spicier than a 3 spice dish. Also, their noodles were a little overcooked. On the plus side, the variety and uniqueness of some of their dishes was pleasantly surprising. The price is really reasonable for a bowl of noodles. Bad: I would stay away from the Chongqing Style Spicy Noodle. It's more of a peppercorn numbing spice. When we were trying each other's dishes, this dish seemed to ruin people's taste because it was numb, and had to clear their palate before continuing eating. The only thing I wish is that it had a little more veggies, it was noodle & protein heavy. The not so great: the pot stickers were bland and the texture wasn't right.
