From time to time, I would order carryout from the Noodles & Company location in Deerfield when I have a craving for a pasta dish. It is quick, and the price is reasonable. I usually have the Rigatoni Rosa with Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, and I have the same dish for a number of years. However, the quality of the food has declined over time, and in particular, the crusted chicken has become VERY salty. At first, I thought it was a one-time aberration. But it has been the same several times in a roll. I hope this review will get management's attention, and result in some improvement in the food quality. read more

Awaking from a nap after Easter Brunch felt like emerging from hibernation. We went in search of dinner, and not surprisingly, all of our go-tos were closed. We actually drove in a wide swath through the northern burbs and did not find many options. Beckoning to us across a practically empty parking lot (except Jewel-Osco- that was open- was the lights of Noodles & Co. There were cars parked in front of- an encouraging sign. There was a large group already dining in, some others, and us. We ordered leanguini (lower carb option) Rosa and Fresca. Our dishes came out hot, super fast. For a low carb option, these were pretty good. Mine had noodles, onions, tomatoes, feta and basil in a light sauce. I ordered the small - so this was just right. I would consider Noodles & Company a pretty good and reliable fast-food restaurant when we want a quick bite that is hot and decent. We usually go to the one in Deerfield. It was a life-safer, or rather a time-safer, when we were moving years ago. There were many nights that my hubby and I just went there to eat and spent our evening and night packing away. At the time, the tables and chairs were usually not too clean, but the quality of the food had been consistent. We have not dined in there for years now, but still pick up carryout occasionally. Our favorites are Penne Rosa with Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Breast and Feta Cheese. My other favorites are Pad Thai with Grilled Chicken Breast. Recently I tried their Japanese Pan Noodles with Marinated Steak (steak recommended by them online), and have mixed reviews on this dish. The caramelized Udon noodles in sweet soy sauce were tasty and good, however, I would not recommend their Marinated Steak. It was overcooked, kind of dry and chewy, and quite disappointing. I should have gotten the Oven-Toasted Meatballs which are usually not bad. By the way, I always remove cilantro and lime wedge when making choices. Staff members whom we have encountered at this location have always been nice and friendly. They have never made any mistakes on the different choices that we picked online. The orders are usually ready within 15 minutes. We would keep Noodles & Company on our list of fast food. read more

This is my go to. Seems like people must be impatient. Sometimes food takes a minute. Everyone has a first day and has to learn. Mistakes happen. Overall decent meal for what it was. I came in on weekend lunch to pick up a couple of meals. Ordered the small size, which they definitely were, especially considering the price tag for these. The Buffalo Chicken Mac (without the Buffalo sauce) was over $11 for the small size entree. The small Wisconsin Mac and Cheese was $7, so about a $4 price difference for the protein. There was no one in the restaurant when I went and it was lunch hour. If you want macaroni and cheese this is the place to come for it. I was shocked and appalled when the person at the cash register wasn't properly trained and couldn't transact a simple order with a gift card. The food was then made wrong and we had to wait another 10 minutes on top of the 15 that we had already waited for the food in the first place. The person who seems to be the manager was snarky and snapped at us just for us wanting to pay with a gift card. Came to this place with my boyfriend and walked in and the guy at the register was barking orders at the people who were cleaning which was already a bad vibe, and then when my boyfriend ordered before me, after the purchase was made. the cashier (Zachary) said (very loudly) "word of advice man, ladies first". Then i defended my boyfriend and said that he ordered first because he didn't know what i wanted and he responded with "no it doesn't matter". and then continued barking orders at the other workers. I believe he was the store manager due to the way he was speaking to them. The manner in which he was talking to them did not demonstrate respect, and the way he was talking to me and my boyfriend did not demonstrate good leadership. If you would like to keep a safe and comfortable environment in all of your franchises, I recommend you take this complaint to heart, and revoke his role. read more

Really tasty and fun meals. N&Co. makes a nice attempt to not fall into the fast food catagory. There are dishes you can feel really good about selecting, others are delicious but higher in fat and sodium. You CAN order low sodium dishes and feel much better about a selection. You can search the web for, "more and less healthy meals at Noodles & company," and there are articles on the subject. They use fresh eggs, no gmo or protein that's been fed antibiotics, etc. This is the noodles place you've wanted to sate your pasta hunger with. Turning customers away saying they don't have a mask. But food and safety regulations make it so you have to have clean mask available. Even if it's just for employees. Nice and clean! I was surprised how fast my Mac & Cheese was brought out to me. I'm assuming that it was the manager, but a man walked out to the patio and asked specifically how my mac & cheese was. He then continued on to ask other patrons how their individual meals were, identifying them by name. "How are your Penne Rosas today, ladies? Can I get you anything else?" I think individualization is awesome, even if it is just naming the dish your patron ordered. That small step demonstrates how well you know your menu, in turn indirectly showing your patrons how much you care about them and your business. Win for Noodles! read more

I ordered lunch from this location through Door Dash. The order was for an important customer that I had a virtual call with. The order was wrong! They left off the chicken. When I called to talk to a manager and have the food resent, he said he would just give me a credit. No way! Get it right and redeliver to my customer. Why not do the right thing? My customer wanted her order correct. (she said this isn't the first time Noodles has goofed on the same item for her). This is exactly why I hate third party deliver and restaurants like this. Ive always been a fan of Noodles and Co. I used to frequent the local one in my hometown with friends alms it every other week. I tried this one on a Thursday afternoon with my nephews and our nanny. The food was ok, but the service was terrible. We asked for a side cup of plain noodles and butter, for my 10 month old nephew who has 6 teeth and eats solid foods, which they said they could not do and then proceeded to say it would take too long to do that..
