Let's start with the good. The baguette that I ordered as a side was good and I enjoyed the modern fountain machine with several varieties. And the tables all looked clean. The spaghetti with meatballs, Let's say was sad. The pasta, all broken in half when cooked tasted and felt like it had been in hot water all day long. The sauce was bland and full of acid. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac, the buffalo sauce was awful. I paid $13 for it for a tiny portion in a small plastic container. When I said I wanted to get an order "to stay" in the past, there were real plates, with generous portions, and the mac and cheese back then was my favorite. This place is very dirty. And they have a cockroach problem that the whole town knows about and there has been nothing done to fix it. I took a picture of my food with the cockroach in it and all they gave me was a free rice krispy. That's what you give people when you mess up their food, not when you find a cockroach in your food. Two very different solutions. Pink Lake get it together. Because I have heard you've done bombs with no luck and as I was complaining about the cockroach issue getting a free rice krispy I count 5 roaches crawling on your walls. Love Noodles and Co, just didn't have an awesome experience at this location. We stopped in at about 30 minutes until close. Place seemed understaffed and generally uninterested in serving us. I ordered Penne Rosa with no mushrooms and added shrimp and received neither of those in the dish. Instead of serving us with normal dishes, we were given plastic to-go containers, even though we were dining in. All 3 people working seemed to already be trying to close up shop at half an hour till and making customers feel like they shouldn't be there. Not cool!! My daughter and I are big pasta fans so we are always looking for a good pasta place to eat. Being very sad that there is no longer a Spaghetti Works in Lincoln, Neb, after her recital we decided to try Noodles. This is an experience that we will not soon forget and can cross noodles off of our list of places to want to eat. The pasta was overcooked, very dry and the sauces definitely left something to be desired. Their menu states that they offer wine, which we all know goes very well with pasta. They only had one wine to offer and didn't even know if they could offer me that because they weren't sure if they had someone old enough to serve it. On top of the bad food, the entire place was filthy. Dirty tables everywhere and the restroom was so disgusting that I asked my daughter to wait until we got home to use the restroom (ie, sticking to the floor as I walked in and out). I've worked in Food Service several times in the past and I'm fully aware of how when a restaurant is busy you can fall behind but this was not that. Understaffed, understocked and what seems to be a sheer lack of understanding the need for cleanliness in a food joint. Well, being that my first review was a little racy, I will keep it pg this time. Okay, ladies I will start with you, especially if you are between the ages of 20-50. This is who the company is geared after, mimicking Asian fusion and simple dishes you would make at home but don't have time for. People please understand that you are paying close to 10.00 dollars a meal.(meal, protein, roll, soda) A meal that takes no less then 4 minutes to make. It is fast food, plain and simple, no gimmicks or lines, their goal is to get it out in less then 4 minutes. I know this because I have worked there for the past 7 months. Please take some time to review the nutritional value chart found below after this review. Watch it closely too if you ask for it at one of their stores, they will try and hand you first a sheet that has 400 calories and less items, what they fail to tell you is what portions they are. Tricking you into believing that if you order a regular it's under 400 calories. ASK TO SEE THE FULL NUTRITIONAL VALUE CHART!!! Hardly anything there is healthy for you, a complete meal will take up over half of your calorie intake, load you up with sodium and give you unwanted carbs. You forfeit allot by over paying for wheat and water not to mention your diet. Pasta is very cheap to make so I don't understand how they can come across thinking that it's the next best thing since sliced bread. $9.35 is what you will pay for mac and cheese, a protein and a soda, that seems like an awfully large amount of money to be spent on mac and cheese. Something that you can find in the value aisle in your local grocery store for under 1 dollar. Granted, you aren't getting high quality m'n'c, but you aren't getting that from noodles either. It comes air tight sealed and frozen from a factory, kinda like kraft premium, which is close to about 3 dollars a carton which feeds 2. Please don't think that you are getting good for from this place, it is just a over priced McDonald. To many times I have heard people say how gratifying their meal was and that they were so happy they didn't eat at McDonalds or BK. I often wonder how many times I have heard people say that we're in a horrible recession, yet we can allow people to pay 10 bucks for a 16 year old high schooler to blanch and shock noodles then ladle some fatty cheese over it and call it gourmet, I just don't get it, maybe it's because I enjoy eating quality food. I stopped in with two of my children to grab a quick dinner. I have eaten at Noodles once in Colorado and I lived it. It wasn't to busy, just one couple at a table and one person in front of us. Asked the cashier/order taker to explain to my kids how it works, she just looked at me blankly... I asked her, did you hear what I said, she replied with "yes, but I don't know what you mean, you order an entre" and looked at me blankly, again. So I explained it to them. As we placed our order the girl asked us to repeat ourselves quite a few times. Talked over my son and myself twice and I finally just asked her to let us finish an answer. My daughter and I got the butter noodles with shrimp added. My son got the spaghetti and meatballs. Got our order to go. First time I received my order, it was wrong. No problem, they are training a new girl. The girl training her comes over, asks whats wrong, I take the food out of the bag to show her and she snatches the bag up and over her head, goes back to the food counter and says to the new girl, "that order wasn't ready, don't serve anyone till I tell you to, please". I wait about 3 minutes, received the rest of our order.... without the bag. As I am opening the bowl to look, I ask, "may I please have the bag back?" The girl brings me the bag and apologizes. I ask her, "why are there no meat balls on the Spaghetti and meatballs I ordered?" She states"they are on the bottom, the cook used the wrong bowl so I turned it into the correct one." I aay "OK, thank you" and put our food in my bag and we leave. My kids and I get home and open our food. Mine and my daughters food was good. The shrimp was a tad over cooked, but still good. My sons Spaghetti and meatballs has hardly any sauce at all and NO meatballs. I had to open a jar of sauce from my cupboard to add to his spaghetti then reheat his food to get him to eat it. The customer service at this Noodles & Company is not good and leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I am a fan of Noodles, mostly because of my kids. They love this place. Noodles does not make anything complicated, except maybe the Japanese noodles or the Pad Thai. The rest is stuff you could easily make at home but, sometimes you just want something fast and easy and you don't have time to make it. Enter Noodles & Company. They have the basics like Mac&Cheese, Spag w/Meatballs, and buttered noodles. And they have some nice items like Japanese Noodles or Pad Thai, or Bangkok Curry. These have a bit more flavor to them. Once you have settled on your dish, you can add some protein to it by selecting Meatballs, Steak, Pork, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Shrimp, or Tofu. You can also add a side salad, Caesar, Chicken Noodle or Thai Curry Soup. Lots of options and its very fast. The place is clean and has one of those soda machines that has like 100+ combinations of drinks which I love because I can get Vanilla Rootbeer or any other flavor combo you could think of. It can get very busy over the lunch or dinner hours and the lines sometimes can be a bit long so call ahead if your going to do carry-out. read more

I got the pad tai and my cousin got the Korean beef noodle. They were extremely sweet, and when I mean sweet it's candy sweet, I don't recommend it if I were you. Unless you're into that. My company had food catered to our office. We had Spaghetti and meatballs, mac and cheese, and some sort of asian chicken and pasta dish. The meatballs were like the inside of a cheap chicken nugget. The mac and cheese lacked cheese and was cold. The asian chicken just tasted awful. No one enjoyed that dish. The only highlight was the pita bread and rolls. Needless to say, I won't be visiting this restaurant in Lincoln. read more
